    They're scamer i have to stop my credit cards. I ordered food for February 28 and March 6 but I'll be out of town on March so trying to cancel but they have no customer service only AI for chatting AI keep sending me scam they have no live agent to talk AI didn't give me answers keep sending me scams so I called my bank to stop paying them. I really want to try cookunity food but I don't even have chance to try I'm not happy with other companies but at least they have someone to help i am very disappointed with cookunity.

    Over charged twice. Customer service will not refund my account. Instead they only offer you a credit on your account even when I've closed by account. They canceled the orders so I'm not receiving a product nor a refund. Do not do business with this company.

    Got overcharged, customer service won't help me. I've had items missing multiple times. The quality after it is reheated is not awesome. Would not recommend Cook Unity. Try Hello Fresh or Home Chef... you have to cook it, but at least they're not scammers.

    Stay away from this company. There is no oversight of the food that is delivered to your home. There is no accounting for maintaining the cold chain while food is transported. There are no rigorous food safety measures in place. They have poisoned many with their irresponsible and reckless practices. I have requested documentation of their food safety program and they will not respond. A cursory search on linked in shows they have 1 person working in food safety.

    This business is borderline criminal. Website defaults to the week after next when skipping orders, I assume to con people into forgetting to skip and being charged anyway. They wouldnt know how to make money if they didnt just trap people into paying for what they didnt order.

    I had paused my subscription and today I had an email that said they have fulfilled my subscription and they charged me $110.08. This was on my profile Your plan is currently paused.Your plan is scheduled to resume on 12/03/2023, with weekly deliveries scheduled for Fridays.You can unpause your plan now to place new orders or receive automatic orders. So today is 12/1 and they are still going to charge me and send me the food. I don't want the food and I did go to school and 12/3 is not 12/1. I am disputing this with my paypal account. Be leery of this company. They pull you in with a cheap price than scam you.

    ************** Ill make this quick because I spent way too much time on this already. Poor customer service, Continued to send and charge for product after I cancelled the service. . I finally got a text saying they would cancel, however they will not take the fraudulent charges off of these unauthorized deliveries. I got diarrhea from a number of their meals and could not even eat their product. *** will try to resolve charges.

    Just like other customers reviews on here, I had made a first time order due to the 50% off deal. I got 16 meals for $88.16, which was GREAT. The food arrived on time and I enjoyed them, but when I saw how much a regular price order would be, I decided to cancel. When I went to the area to cancel on the phone app, it asked for the reason for cancelling. When I chose the radio button for "price" it brought me to a screen with an offer. I could choose to pay $200 for $300 worth of credit. I was no OK with this, so I pressed the back arrow in the upper left hand corner, and it brought me right back to the cancellation page. I tried a couple of more times to cancel, but it forced me to pick a reason as before, and the only way I could move forward was to choose the reason as "OTHER". After pressing the "CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION" button, I was then brought back to an empty login screen. To me, I thought I had cancelled. Unfortunately, when I woke up the next morning and happened to be looking at my credit card summary, I noticed there was a pending charge for $204.07. My only options to contact them was email, chat or text. I ended up texting them and was told over and over that the account was NOT cancelled and the order had already gone through earlier the prior day. I was dumbfounded because I know I had skipped all future orders due to the fact that I was on a cruise the prior week and had planned on cancelling after I received my initial order this past Monday. I have used many meal order companies in the past and am well versed in using the SKIP option. Their text responses sounded all sunshine and rainbow-like, but they kept repeating that their policies are stated and there are NO REFUNDS granted. I will now have to put in a claim with my credit card tomorrow since the charge is in pending status currently. I am outraged!!!!!!!!!
