I would stay away. They had the time and attention to reach out and correct my payment info to correct it twice and charge me. They refused to show proof the correction to my delivery address was fixed. I contacted customer services over four times in 24 hours. They said it was internally fixed. When I requested to escalate it and a refund for the inconvenience my chat messages did not go through and they routed me to an AI bot. I do not suggest them and blocked my card for concern they would continue to charge it.

Whoever thought it was a wise idea to replace sturdy boxes (with thick ClimaCell insulation) with flimsy return bags holding half the ice packs clearly wasnt thinkingand frankly should be fired.Every ice pack was melted, every meal arrived warm, and the fact that you expect me to store these filthy bags in my home for a week or leave them outside until pickup is laughable.Fix this mess. Until then, youve lost two customers.

I had never even heard of this business, and a $175 charge showed up on my credit card. ******** is possible that someone stole my credit card and used it for this service, but based on all the other reviews I personally think that the business themselves are knowingly boosting their numbers with stolen cards. To be very clear - this is not the 'monumentally difficult cancellation' issue others are reporting. I never even signed up for them, had never heard of them. Completely FRAUD.

They basically took my money for something i don't even have. When I requested a refund the *** stop typing he stopped the chat. Then I got an email acknowledging that the box they stole my money for did not even arrived at my home yet. These people are SCAMMERS! DO NOT SHARE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO WITH THEM THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING YOU DONT HAVE.

The meals are amazing, but customer service is TERRIBLE. I have pretty severe ADHD and forget to pick my meals almost every week. Instead of making it easier for people like me to enjoy the service on my own schedule, Cook Unity insists on locking customers into meals that THEY choose and refuse to cancel any orders based on customer dissatisfaction with the process. Even if I request an order cancellation within MINUTES of the order being made, customers service REFUSES to cancel and locks customers into expensive meals they can't even eat for a variety of personal reasons. I ****** this company, even though the meals themselves are solid. STAY AWAY

I should have looked into the reviews before ordering from this company. They are the worst. I was overcharged on my second order. Instead of correcting it they added an extra fee to my order to get to the amount I was charged. And this after they told something completely different the first time. Because I could proof the first explanation was wrong, they came back and just completely told me something different and added a bogus fee. I will dispute through my credit card company. Please dont order from this cookunity. I will save yourself a big headache.

Only 2 stars because flavors are good. The amount of food shown on their website is about 2x what you actually get. It is more costly than other services claiming chef prepared. If they gave as much as shown, it would be worth it. I paid about $12 per meal and the last one had 3 pieces of meat in a beef stew ******* What a joke!

Cookunity overall is ******** phone number to call anyone. Email response is within 24 hrs, no sense of emergency. When you do get that email back, its like youre still dealing with robots, even though the response seems to have come from a human, which kind? Not the emphatic one.Your support email doesnt really support. You provide answers that a robot could. Youre safe, ensconced behind your computer, no skin in the game because, what can that person do? Theyre at the mercy of your delayed reply.THIS IS A HORRIBLE BUSINESS MODEL that offers no flexibility for contacting anyone on your team, or even go above and beyond to support your customers. You pocket the money, send the horribly tasting food, and youre done. Youve fulfilled your obligation. Your customer was 14 minutes late in canceling an order because shes too busy prepping for a move overseas. Your contact method responds that nothing can be done. Now the food will be sitting outside rotting for days because you couldnt be bothered to TRULY provide your customer the help you claim to be able to provide.Thats capitalism for you. All fake. All useless. Yet, there are people around the world starving, while the order you refused to shift (no refund was even asked for) rots away.Thats quite the support. I wonder how many other customers suffer the same way.Youre all useless, heartless human beings. Ill pray for you ******* CEO of CookUnity. You ll see. One day, youll remember this email, and youll see.

I had a terrible experience with CookUnity. I never has access to my account, yet they charged my credit card after I already request cancellation multiples times. I emailed them multiples times, responded to their messages , and even provided all my personal information to locale the account. Still, I was ignored. Their phone line is alwais unavailaible, and there is no way to speak with a real person. This is unacceptable. I've filed a dispute with my bank and I am warnirg others: BE VERY CAREFUL. CookUnity makes it extremely hard to cancel, provides no real customer support , and continues to charge without consent . Do Not trust this company !

This is a typical example of a subscription type of business that makes it easy to get fooled into signing up but virtually impossible to cancel it before you get charged for a portion of the money I strongly recommend never going to their website because they are almost as bad as ******
