    I had placed an order with cook unity. When they charged me I noticed the address was incorrect. I contacted support to and they didn't care. Of course I never received the order. They refused to refund me despite knowing I paid for nothing but said they could donate my order to someone else. Like is this an actual business practice? I want my refund or I'll have no choice but to move forward with a small claims court hearing. Account email is ******************

    Auto selecting and confirming orders without my permission even after I sent emails to clearly indicate that I do not allow Cook Unitys auto selection and confirmation of orders without my permission.

    I am filing a complaint against CookUnity for what I believe is a deceptive and unfair business practice related to their subscription and refund policy.I believed my CookUnity account was frozen or inactive, but I was unexpectedly charged for a meal I did not select or authorize. The meal included random items I never ordered. The user interface for canceling or freezing the subscription is unclear, and at no point was I alerted that my account would be reactivated or charged.The moment I saw the charge on my credit card, I contacted CookUnity to request a refund. Despite reaching out immediately, I was told they could not refund my money only apply credit to my CookUnity account. This is not acceptable to me, as I have no intention of continuing service with them and do not want to be locked into using credit for a service I do not trust or want.Additionally, the company has no accessible phone number to speak with a real human. All communication is via email or chat, making it even harder to get timely support.CookUnity eventually agreed to cancel the shipment and stop the order which means they clearly could have reversed the charge yet they still refused to issue a refund. This feels like a predatory tactic: make cancellation difficult, auto-charge users, and then refuse to return money even when service is not delivered.I am requesting a full refund to my original payment method, not a credit I didnt ask for.This experience has made me feel misled and taken advantage of. I hope the BBB can help hold CookUnity accountable for these practices.

    Date of transaction: 6/9/25 Amount of transaction: $43.28 Product to be provided: 4 meals Nautre of dispute: The company is lying and ****** told me a couple of times my meals had shipped and assured me my account had been cancelled for any further meals. I called *** and they told me they do not have the product yet and asked me to check back on Thursday, 6/12/25. I get another email from ****** changing the story again that the meals haven't been shipped. I advised them to cancel everything, refund my money and don't ship anything. I see a lot of others on their website stating their food is being delivered to incorrect address and when they try to contact Cook Unity they are not doing anything about this. I was posting on their ******** page and they blocked me from doing so. The business has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in trying to resolve this! Ignoring my request to cancel & refund and then LYING saying it has been. I advised I will dispute the charge but I am getting ignored. I am contacting my bank to let them know this company is scamming people and sends orders to wrong addresses.

    I used to get food delivered from cookunity but back in January I no longer wanted it. I deactivated my account and since since then i have received 3 orders. One in January that i was forced to keep and pay for, one in March that i had to pay for and yesterday. Yesterday O was home and sent it back to them but they are saying I cant get a refund. I have not placed an actual order since ********************************************** January and March. I receive emails from them all the time so I did not pay attention to the emails saying my meals were coming yesterday. On Friday when i received an email saying my order was placed. Not shipped but just placed, I immediately emailed them to cancel it. No one returned my email so I emailed Friday night and threatened to call my bank. They emailed me back on Saturday the 24th saying it was too late. When the food was arriving yesterday 5/27 i sent it back to sender. In emailed from CookUnity last night they said that they were not refunding me. In my customer service chats from January and March i expressed wanting to end my account. Each time they said it was deactivated. Now theyre saying it was delayed. You can see that i reached out to them twice saying I no longer wanted the food so not sure why they would send again. I have had to get a new debit card as of yesterday so that they stop charging me. Its crazy.

    My card was charged with an order I did not place. I tried contacting the company immediately and my only options was a chat bot and email. I have not had a response after several days and I have followed up daily. They will not answer a phone call and do not send responses to your chat complaints or emails.

    Cook unity app is a mess. I submitted an order 3 times. It did not go through. I was not aware of that! The price I was quoted was 137 in that range. Its came back something different. I reached out to cook unity! N advise. The rep **** was rude n not helpful! I advise I did not order that I need help that not my order ! She was basically saying oh well! Because of her response I cancel my account! She did not offer any type of resolution! It was basically u got to take the food. I then sent another email advising I will not be home , Im going away for the holiday! Dont send the box. No ones there. Im get a lease violation. She said its too late . Which this was Tuesday ! They sent the box any way. I was trying to order more food with them than they sent ! However they lost a customer bc there team is not resolution oriented! Mind you I order 130s every time I order! I need help bc now I going to get a lease violation for having spoiled food in front of my door ! Its going to draw rodents ! N now I may get kick out my apt bc of this ! I live by my self !

    This company place an order using my credit card information without my authorization. I called and ask the company why did this happen and told the company why did the place a order without my authorization and ordering products that I cant eat because my religion and the customer service representative said it only have partial ingredients of pork I cant eat pork and Im allergic to that meat. I can get sick and have a reaction I dont believe it anymore that can could harm me. This company did not try to resolve my issue wasnt compassionate with my feelings about this issue and the reason I stop using this company is because they delivered my food after hours 8;00 pm at night and I get off work at 2:00 am birds was picking and relieving there selves on the food bag. I made a complaint and didnt use them again that why I was confused with they place an order without my authorization even when I told them Im not using there service again. I leave for vacation on Tuesday and they placed an order that will sit outside for a week. Now if I wanted to place a order wouldnt I have placed it on a week Im home. I need this company to be held accountable.

    Fraudulent business practices with no recourse, poor customer service blaming the customer, and shady subscription. I cancelled this service 9 months ago upon researching how unhealthy the meals are. With no action from myself, they reactivate my subscription, charge me $200, and select 6 meals for next delivery that has to be confirmed by the next day or else they are sent. These emails came at 4 am, while I was asleep. CookUnity says I clicked on an email triggering an offer which is entirely untrue. They have no proof and will not take responsibility for their malicious business practice.

    They reached out randomly as I had "subscribed" and then immediately unsubscribed but it was not in response to my original complaint.  They are supposedly looking into it.  No remediation was offered.
