      I called in Sept to move my car from ** to **. Quoted $1,175. Later received a solicitation for "additional insurance" for $395. Asked why I needed it. Was told it would cover "incidentals" not covered by their policy. I declined. 4 days prior to p/u, they called to change the date & press me to buy the extra insurance. I declined again. Then was told price for transport had gone up by $145 due to price of diesel fuel even though fuel had gone down by $1.50/gal since I booked. Reluctantly, I agreed to the $145 increase because didn't have time to book another carrier.The pickup inspection went well. Car was new with very few, very minor scratches. Was told my car would be hauled to carrier's yard (******** Transport) & transferred to a larger truck for transport to **. ETA 3 days. 2 days later, different driver called. Said he needed to deliver car that night. I asked how he got to ** so quick, said he had 2 drivers. Said he couldn't deliver my car until 11:00 PM so I told him to deliver it the next day. Said he had to deliver that night because my car was on very back & he had 2 more deliveries that night. Would call me later with an ETA.At 9 PM, he called to say he was an hour out but could not drop near my condo because his truck was too big. Would drop a mile away. At 10:30, I met him. Shocked to see my car was covered in mud. ****** claimed he had driven through construction sites and mud splattered on my car. Now 11 PM, foggy. He insisted he had 2 more drops to make. I used my camera flashlight after he claimed his flashlight was broken. I inspected the lower panels of my car & saw no damage so accepted car. After car wash, found 300+ dings in paint on *************** Rear ***************** broke. Driver had not secured strap on car above mine. Strap with metal tip had smacked into my car for hundreds of miles. $9,600 damage. Company refused to pay claiming I had accepted. car. They are practiced & professional crooks. Stay far away!!!

      We were originally quoted for our move only to find out once it was scheduled that thats just an esitmate and we had to pay more. Then after being told our pickup would occur on 1/26 we received a message that they were picking up today 1/25. I called and roadrunner confirmed pickup today. The driver then called us at 5pm saying he would be arriving to it evening. When asking for a supervisor was told I could not speak to one. When I said Im a paying customer and I have a right to speak to a supervisor I was hung up on by their so called customer service.

      Got a quote online from Rob, Sean called claiming the message was forwarded to him. We discussed a pickup date/time and loading luggage in the car, was told not to block the rear window. Sean increased the quote $87, and it said there was a charge for things in the car. I tried repeatedly to contact him about that (and also Rob after delivery and have yet to hear from anyone associated with Road Runner). The pickup was 2 days after the quote and 2 days after I was charged the increased amount, and the driver demanded and extra $100 for the load. When the car was delivered the driver wanted an additional $400 for the transport, when I explained that I had already been charge on a credit card, he called, I assume Road Runner, and confirmed that I did not have to pay the extra $400. So, in summary Road Runner received $212 for providing me a disservice that was not even close to compliance with the original quote. I really have no complaints about the actual delivery as the service provided was as the driver communicated to me, my complaint is entirely with Road Runner's disregard for the quote. Buyer beware!!

      I recently had a disappointing experience with Road Runner Transport. Initially, their communication was prompt and persistent; they called me several times to finalize the booking and payment for a car transport. This eagerness, however, took a drastic turn once I completed the payment.After confirming and paying for the service, I've been met with complete radio silence. My attempts to reach them through phone calls and emails have been unsuccessful. There was a promise that my car would be picked up on either the 28th or 29th, with a confirmation to follow post-payment, but now it's already the 2nd, and I'm left with no responses and no updates.The lack of communication and failure to fulfill their commitment has left me in a difficult position, with my car still sitting and waiting for pickup. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and has caused significant inconvenience. I expected a more professional and reliable service from Road Runner Transport, but unfortunately, they have failed to meet these basic expectations.I hope this review helps others to make an informed decision before considering their services.

      ABSOLUTELY DO NOT do business with Roadrunner Transport. I scheduled a pickup, confirmed with an agent, paid (an additional $150 above initial quote), and received dates of pickup and drop off. I received an email confirmation and four texts to confirm. I was told by the agent that a carrier was assigned and gave me dates, but when I go to Roadrunners website to track where the carrier is, it says assigned carrier pending. The agent said the carrier that was going to transport the car was charging the additional amount. How did he know this if I never received an assigned carrier? Four days after pickup date, nothing. I have called the customer service number and the number of the scheduling agent and never got beyond eternal hold except twice to leave a message. I did not receive any return calls. I want to cancel the order so that I can hire another transport service. It does not look like it can be cancelled at their website, and if no one answers the calls, I cannot do this. I need to hire another service, but if Roadrunner sends a carrier and the new company sends a carrier, it will be an huge mess. I need this car. Anyone who reads these reviews GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY!

      I wish there was an option for 0 zeros, or even less than the. DO NOT do business with this Alaska Car Transport, Roadrunner Transport, or any other business name they choose to give. We scheduled a pick ** in ******** to be delivered to ********* **. We received an email confirmation and text confirmation. 2 days before the pick up date, we received a phone call confirmation. The day of pick up ... nothing. We were then told the transport company canceled, but nobody can tell us why. I have spent the last 2 days trying to get answers. After waiting over an hour each time for a representative, they have put me on hold. Once even transferring me to a department that was closed. All the customer service agents were beyond rude, especially ****. This company is a scam .. never do business with them.

      Warning! Do not use this company. I paid for door to door delivery. The driver is now telling me I have to pick up the car on other side of city. Company will not communicate by phone. I f you try to call plan to be on hold over an hour.

      This company is a full scam company. I believe that the positive reviews you see for this company online are fake reviews. They took our $700 to have our car shipping from **** to SC and said they would bring it within 2 days. It is quite an elaborate scam because for days they keep you hanging and say they are understaffed, but in the end they just drop you.
