This is a money grabbing scam. I reluctantly paid the fee of 159 dollars, and they gave me a delivery date of the documents which is the day AFTER the scheduled closing. They offered to expedite the documents 1 day for another 100 dollars. This company needs to be shut down. I did report them to the ************************* and to Senator ******** office.

We understand how frustrating unexpected fees and delays can be, especially when dealing with time-sensitive loan closings. Standard document processing is available without additional rush fees, as the processing times are set by the condo association to ensure all documents are completed accurately. This careful review helps prevent errors that could adversely affect your closing. If documents are needed sooner than the standard timeline, the request requires prioritization over other orders in progress. Rush fees cover the additional resources needed to accommodate these urgent requests. While we strive to meet every deadline, our goal remains ensuring accuracy and compliance in all documentation. We appreciate you sharing your experience, and we're always open to feedback that helps improve transparency and efficiency in the process.

I am experiencing the same concerns that many others have raised regarding this companys practices. Specifically, they are charging an excessive amount for HOA documents related to the sale of a property$716.95 for the documents and an additional $300 transfer fee, totaling $1,016.95. Moreover, they require payment upfront rather than at settlement, which is highly unusual and burdensome. These charges are unreasonably high, and I believe regulatory oversight is needed to address potential overcharging. Additionally, the company advertises an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), which is difficult to reconcile given the volume and nature of complaints from customers.

Hi ****, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We understand that HOA-related fees can feel burdensome, especially during the home-selling process. Our pricing structure is carefully reviewed to ensure compliance with industry standards and applicable regulations. The document preparation and transfer fees reflect the administrative costs associated with processing and maintaining property records, which support a smooth transaction for all parties involved. Regarding the payment structure, requiring upfront payment helps streamline the closing process and ensure timely access to required documentation. While we recognize that this differs from some other practices, it is designed to prevent delays and provide transparency. We value customer feedback and continuously assess our processes to align with best practices while maintaining compliance. One final point of clarification is the HomeWiseDocs fees amounted to less than $50 of the $1,000 total order. If there is anything further, we can clarify or address, please let us knowwe appreciate the opportunity to be part of this conversation.

Requested HOA documents on a Saturday night, but the buyer cancelled, so I cancelled the document request first thing Monday morning. Despite no documents being processed or provided, they still charged me $60. Its been over two weeks with no refund, and when I followed up, I was told they've issued a refund and advised me to dispute it with my bank. Unethical practicecharging for a service when nothing was never done/delivered. Avoid if possible.

This company is criminal inside and out. Charging $690 for HOA documents I can get myself simply by going to my HOA. But because my HOA is contracted with these crooks, I didn't have choice. Every time I tried to go around them, I kept getting shoved back into paying this fee. Then, the audacity to charge a $9.95 "convenience fee"? For who's convenience????? My confirmation number is Z76PYNXCD so my review is solidified. This company is the reason people don't want to sell homes and why trust doesn't exist. They take advantage simply because they can. Horrible experience.

WORST COMPANY EVER! They are straight up thieves! Charging an astronomical amount of money for HOA documents and fake rush processing fees. On top of that, their customer service is terrible. They are of no help and just lie about everything you ask them giving you the run around every single time.

Horrible company scamming customers. Governing documents are free on the ProCom site, but homewise charges $130 for the exact same pdfs from 1998 and 2000s. Why hasnt this company been sued already?!

They charge for governing documents that are free to the public on the *** management website. They bundle pdf's, not allowing the option to choose the documents you need. PDF's from the 90's and 20's are charging $30+ that are free just finding the documents yourself. When requesting a refund on documents I already had, they denied me. **** dispute through my bank to get my money bank. This company is scan, and it's predatory that there isn't another way to get access to your own property material documents.

This company is a rip off. They simply do not perform in a timely manner and held up our escrow closing. I paid for 2 rush orders at $200 each on top of the high cost of the resale certificate but still they could not get the paperwork done. I want my $400 back but good luck getting it. The escrow company that handled our transaction said this is a common problem with ***************************** using *************.com. And worse, it as the only option we had as homeowners has to get a resale certificate. I reported the actions of ************ and Navigate throughout the entire ******************* in hopes of getting this type of price gouging for poor work to stop. Literally homeowners are held hostage during a home closing.

This firm ***************** documents, such as resale packages, legally required when property within a common interest community is sold. The service they provide is to keep the documents up-to-date, which they in turn sell to homeowners for $160. Then they add $27 for an archive fee, which is actually what the $160 is for, plus $9.95 for a credit card convenience fee. ****** Statutes give them 10 days to make the delivery, which really is only a couple of keystrokes on their computer system. If you want the documents faster than 10 days, they charge $100 extra, plus another $9.95 credit card convenience fee. Essentially, they drag out the delivery to the statutory maximum in order to extract an extra $100. Legal? Yes. Ethical? No. Why am I writing this? If you're an HOA board member and considering doing business with ******************, do your fellow homeowners a favor and find a better company. There is only one form that requires any input from a live person and that's the Certificate of Resale Receipt, which any real estate agent can make, for free, in about 2 minutes. Most of us would have no problem paying the $160 because real estate law requires up-to-date and complete documentation, but the extra $146.90 is extortion.
