I paid $57 for a program that promised that if for any reason, I was dissatisfied, I could get that money back if I ask with in 30 days. I can not do the exercises because of my back issues. The number they give only gives you a run around back to their support and that does not do me any good. I emailed them at ***************** on April 20, 2023. I have not heard anything from them so I dont even know if they got my request. I do realize that I do not get a refund for the custom diet plan (even though I never received it). I purchased 2 programs through VShred on April 29, 2023 (but technically 3 programs, as they erroneously charged me twice for one of them). They give a 30-day money back guarantee, but I cannot get ahold of their support team to request a refund. They haven't responded to my emails, and none of the phone numbers I found for this company have worked - just an automated response saying they don't deal with refunds by phone. What??? Bad business to offer refunds if you're dissatisfied with their products and then not answer any form of communication. VShred is a total scam. They just send you an annoying amount of automated emails with tips and tricks for their program so that it seems like they're being communicative, but then don't answer any support/ refund requests. I am beyond irritated at this point. I'd stay far far away from this company. Bad on you, VShred. I wanted to love this program, but I'm highly disappointed.Business Response

This complaint is related to vshred's lack of response to customer inquiries and requests for refund within their stated full money back cancellation window of 30 days. Like many of the reviews posted on BBB.org, I attempted to cancel a program I purchased for $133.92 within 30 days after purchase, order placed on April 13, 2023, I received a "we'll respond within 10 days" auto email response but the response never came and the amount was never refunded. I sent follow up emails to customer support several more times, 4/25, 4/27 and today, 5/6 with no response. I just want the refund according to their stated refund policy.Business Response

I ordered a diet/exercise package from V-Shred LLC. on April 29, 2023. There is no indication, after paying *****, how to access the program. I did not receive a receipt of purchase or an Email with information on how to access the program I purchased. I sent them an Email on May 1, ******************* how to access the program. I have received no response. What I have received are many advertising Emails from V-Shred. So I signed up to talk to a coach. I assumed he could help me access what I already purchased and wanted to learn more about the coaching program. He, however, would not answer my questions. He was slick but all he clearly wanted to do was sell me a another program and had no interest in helping me otherwise. He actually basically put down the program I bought as being too over the top for me at my age of 68, and that the coach would give me more appropriate exercises. When I told him I wouldn't purchase a coaching program, which seemed highly expensive for what it was, until I could access my original purchase and that I needed to think if I could afford the coaching program, he basically shut me down and implied that I wasn't committed and they would only work with committed people. This is completely untrue but he just had to insult me and try and intimidate me into buying. Then he ended the call. HIs name was ****. This company talks the big talk and is all about sell, sell, sell but can not even give you what you already purchased. I do not want to deal with this company. They have lost my trust. V Shred is a misleading money grabbing company and customer service is really bad.I have purchased the Vshred program with the with the promise of learning the secrets to losing weight, only to find out that after you buy the program, they actually tell you the secret which is a product that they sell, more expensive than the program itself and you wont have real results if you dont buy them. Going into the program I felt like extremely dissatisfied with the quality of it and very disappointed with all the emails and offers for several programs to be purchased. In the end, VShred is designed to take as much money from you as they can. Paid ALOT of money for a personalized program. V-Shred failed to provide what it promised.Business Response

Our client purchased the V Shred Accelerator Elite Custom Coaching program on 1/15/23 and was onboarded that same day. Our onboarding process involves: refunding the customer for eligible previous purchases; sending a welcome email with steps on how to move forward; and sending a link to a questionnaire they must fill out in order to connect with their coach and receive the custom plans. This email also includes a full breakdown of our refund policy and a link to the refund policy on our website.
Our records show the following timeline of events:
1/15: Client received a welcome email and a courtesy message from our Concierge Team welcoming her to the program
1/16: Client emails her trainer and sets up her first Zoom call with her trainer
1/18 - 1/26: Client is communicating back and forth with her trainer, appears excited about her journey, and is waiting for her supplement and meal delivery shipments (included in her plan)
Feb 5: Client sends her weekly check-in and reports she has been somewhat following her meal plan
2/13: Client reports weight loss and her trainer modifies her plan to continue achieving results
March 5: Client emails her trainer and wants to restart her plan because of a personal situation. They agree to restart on March 13
3/13: Client says shes ready to restart and is committed to her health
3/27: Client emails her coach that shes struggling with fat loss and her coach replies with suggestions. Client reports weight gain because of increased stress from her recent personal situation
4/4: Client emails her trainer for a new workout plan and the trainer sends a new plan back that same day
4/10: Client asks for more exercises focused on the quads and arms.
This is the last communication we have had with the client. Since this client has been working with her coach, and achieved results with the program, she is not eligible for a refund, per our terms and conditions and non-refundable program refund policy.
We are happy to speak with her on why she is unsatisfied with her Coach, as our records show many positive communications back and forth, as well as multiple adjustments to the plan being made. Still, we can assign her a new Coach if she prefers, so she can complete the remainder of her program.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:It is true I was originally excited about the program. After March, I had to nudge my coach. It seems if I pay $5,000 for a personal coach, I shouldn't have to remind the coach of my requests for exercises that A). match my fitness levels B). Address ways of exercising / work arounds for shoulder issues. C). Respond to the weekly check ins when I didn't reply.
The coach is a COACH. I'm the customer.They didn't address the $5,000 payment amount. Is this a standard amount? I've seen other people on FB who paid $3,000. Is there a sliding scale whereby I could have paid less for the same service. I hope better service.
VShred didn't fulfill the terms of their service agreement. Personal responses with 24 hours. This was not the case. I had to remind my coach of a query on several occasions and waited weeks, actually a month before I filed this complaint.

I purchased the Fat Loss Extreme for her ***** and the Burn pills for ******. I should have read the reviews prior to my purchase, but did not. I have emailed them everyday since then as they stated, money back guarantee without questions asked, numerous times on their infomercial. What kind of customer service takes 10 days to answer someone. That is extremely poor business practice. I am looking to get a full refund to my account as promised without question.
