My wife signed up for vshred and was promptly given a call by an on boarding agent (******). He talked her into buying some extra supplements for $100, however they charged our account $440 on top of the $160 for the onboarding. My wife instantly realized the mistake they made but couldnt not get any response via phone, text or email. It took a long while but ****** finally reached back out to my wife and claimed someone was impersonating him. The call came from the same number, which he confirmed is his direct line and somehow ****** sounded the exact same. My guess is that he makes commissions for selling extra product and hoped she wouldn't notice. We have yet to receive confirmation that this will be fully refunded, we are also searching a refund for the entire program as we cannot trust vshred. They state it is a 100% money back guarantee if you're not satisfied but we haven't been given confirmation that this will happenBusiness Response

Integrity and honesty are one of our guiding principles here at VShred. We execute these core values in every business transaction and show transparency in every purchase. To provide clarity in every online purchase, we sent an email confirmation with an order summary and receipts informing our clients how much was billed and what are these charges for. We are transparent with every transaction we processed online and make sure our clients have full visibility of their orders and how much was billed to their bank account.
Checking our records, when we sent the order confirmation for these supplements client reached out on January 17, 2023, to request an order cancellation. The client was quoted $146.70 including taxes and fees good for 3 bottles of different supplements which are 1 bottle of Greens, 1 bottle of Enzyme, and 1 bottle of Turmeric Black. This bundle of supplements is good for one months consumption. They were billed $440.09 as they have accepted the offer for the 3-month supply of each supplement. In regards to the initial $160 charge that they have mentioned, this will cover the Fat Loss Extreme for Her program for $62.42, the Custom Diet Plan for $53.66, and the 1 bottle of BURN for $45.00, a total of $161.08 for the initial orders.
We responded to their cancellation and refund request on January 18, 2023. We have sent an email confirming that the entire order was cancelled and refunded. Funds amounting to $601.17 should reflect on their online credit card statement within the next 5 -10 business days, and on their paper statement at the end of the current billing cycle.

Purchased V-Shred online today 1/16/2023. Reports instant access to programs via app and online after purchase. The app doesnt load the programs and online takes you to a page where you are unable to download the products as promised. It appears to be a scam with multiple videos encouraging more purchase of supplements and coaching without providing content. I understand sites or apps can experience issues and crashes. I was unable to use the app so went to try online to see the recipes and content. When I click to access or download its just a picture. On the recipes when digging further in the site I got a page with a height of 56 and no other information. As stated on our website online, under the Terms of Use no materials from the website may be downloaded, copied, or reproduced. The workout videos can only be accessed online when they login to their online account. Only the Recipe guide and Custom Diet Plan can be downloaded as a pdf file. If clients are having issues downloading these two, they may always contact us via email and we can send PDF copies for them.
Regarding the multiple product offers they saw online, we want all of our customers to be aware of the various types of programs and recommendations we offer so you are able to choose the best combination to suit them and your lifestyle. These recommendations may help them get the best results. We hope this helps clarify why they saw the multiple offers after making the initial purchase. Please take note that they are completely optional, and not required for them to begin with. On 1/16/2023, I purchased the vshred program and supplements for a total of $173.00. Upon signing up and receiving the emails, I tried navigating through the programs only to get repeated error messages. I called their help number and got a message that they have high volume of calls and to reach to their online support. When doing so, I get a message that says, no website found. I was looking into this company to possibly purchase from them. They asked for credit card number for purchase. I did not confirm any purchase as I was still deciding at this point. They charged my credit card anyways The charges were made on 1-9-2023. In the amount of $124.00. This is fraudulent. Just because items are in your cart does not mean that I give the ok to be charged. Apparently this has happened to many people from online reviews that I have read. Please help with this situation. So far, the only calories I am burning are from chasing after my refund! On January 1, my husband bought a $430.36 package from V Shred as a gift for me. It included a supplement, some videos, and a personal meal plan. He bought it without talking with me about it because there is a 100% 30-day money back guarantee plastered all over their website and social media videos. So he believed he was covered if I ended up not wanting it. After he told me about the gift, I looked the company up on BBB and immediately knew I wanted to cancel my order due to all of the existing complaints. The morning of Jan 2, I contacted ********************************** and informed them that I wanted a full refund and requested them NOT to ship any products to me. This was a holiday, so mail was not moving on this day, so I knew that there was no way anything had shipped out yet. In reply to my email, I received a $71 refund, and was informed that I will not be able to receive the rest of my refund until they ship the product to me, only so that I can ship it back to them. I purchased a 90-day fitness program from v shred on 04-Jan-2023. They asked me to purchase an ******************* plan. everything was recorded on the zoom call. An hour later I got a call from my parents saying that I had to come back to ***** for family reasons, so I checked the website to cancel my order. there is no such option to cancel the purchase we just did 10 mins ago. along with that, the customer support didn't say anything, I asked him to cancel it before it gets activated so that it can save money and time they spend before assigning it to a personal trainer. They simply said that they will get back to you in 24 hours. that's when I checked through the internet that the whole v shred thing is a scam, so I contacted the guy who made me buy all of this, he acted like he was speaking with a new customer. Also, when I asked him about the refund, he just stated that he doesn't have any connection with the back office or refund policies, so please email the support team. the more I see, the more I find that the whole support thing is a big scam and they don't care about anything. they're one of the wealthiest organizations that can afford a big lawsuit too. Our client, ***********, purchased the V Shred Accelerator Plus Custom Diet and Training Program on January 4, 2022 at 8:56am. They entered our Onboarding phase that same day where we send a Welcome Email that breaks down next steps for the customer to get connected to their Coach.
All of our VIP clients are also given access to a Concierge Team for any questions they have about their new program. Our records show the client sent a live chat message to our main Support Team two minutes after receiving this email and asked for a refund. Our Support Agent explained to the client that they have special access to their Concierge Team and that he would forward the request to them so they could respond within 24 hours.
Our Concierge Agent ************** sent the clients information to our Success Coordinator within 1 hour of receiving this request so that the Coordinator could assist the client with the refund. Even though the customer has the right to refund within 72 hours of the purchase, our Success Coordinators' responsibility is to inquire about the reason for a refund and help the customer get started if theres anything we can do to make onboarding easier for them.
Our Success Coordinator ****** offered a few solutions, including choosing a later start date, as well as an additional discount. The client replied within 5 minutes declining these solutions and asked for a refund again.
We processed the full refund on January 4, 2022 at 12:39pm PST. We have records of the refund confirmation email being sent to the customer, as well as a copy of the refund receipt our team sent to the customer as final confirmation.Customer Answer

On 9/24/22, I responded to ads Vshred runs on Instagram and purchased their Fat Loss Extreme for Him Bundle ($57), a monthly subscription for their Burn supplement ($41), and a monthly subscription to VSU ($9.95, first month free). So far, I have been shipped the Burn supplement three times (9/26/22, 10/26/22, and 11/26/22). I finally tried their Burn supplement on 11/21/22, and I did not have a good reaction to it at all. I was shaking and had body chills for about 15 hours. After online research, I learned that the supplement has a high amount of caffeine, as well as other ingredients; this mixture apparently does not agree with me. In order to cancel my subscriptions, I first tried calling the phone numbers listed on my welcome and order shipped emails. Their toll-free numbers ************** (on "Thank you for your order" emails) and ************ (for "Your order has been shipped" emails) that are listed for support do not actually have support personnel. In fact, the recording basically says they have a high call volume and you should send an email to ********************************** in order to get assistance. So, I emailed them to cancel my subscriptions on 11/23/22, received no confirmation or response, then received another monthly shipment around 12/1/22. I have sent another email, but I do not anticipate a response, so I am submitting this complaint, as well as calling my credit card company to reject any charges from this company.I would at the very least want my cancelation of the supplement and the monthly VSU program as well as to be credited for the last bottle of the Burn supplement, because it was sent after my cancelation email.Business Response

I ordered this program over two weeks ago and I still have not had a personal coach contact me and I have not been give my customized meal plan or customized workout plan. I was told I would be getting two different supplements sent to me and also somewhere around 30 meals sent to me if I signed up for this $2,000 program. I have not received any of these things. Ive never spent $2,000 on email spam. I literally get 15+ emails a day with offers for additional programs, supplements, etc. However, every time I call about this I get an apology email saying theyve escalated my issue. Our client ********************************* purchased our Accelerator Plus Coaching Program on Nov 28, 2022. Per our policy, she was refunded all previous eligible purchases and was sent a Welcome email with all the information required to get started. In this email, we ask all clients to submit an Onboarding Questionnaire to get connected with their coach. This program is customized for each client by their coach.
On Nov 30, we sent the client a follow-up SMS message asking if she needed any assistance with moving forward.
Our records show the client emailed on Dec 3 stating that she has not been contacted by her coach or received her custom plans. One of our Concierge Team members replied with steps on how to get this started and that the client would need to fill out the Onboarding Questionnaire. She was sent the link to the questionnaire and the Concierge Team member offered to call her if she needed any further assistance. Client still did not submit her questionnaire.
Our records show another Concierge Team member reached back out to the client on Dec 5 to let her know her Questionnaire needed to be submitted in order to get connected with the coach. Client emailed back later that day that she had figured it out.
Our team checked and found the questionnaire still had not been submitted. Our records show we emailed and called the client again to assist. Client did not respond so one of our Success Coordinators reached out on Dec 7 to schedule a phone call to further assist the client. We are still waiting for a response.
Client is now claiming that every time she calls she receives an automated reply email that her issue has been escalated. To date, we do not have any calls from the customer on file or any record of email communications about us escalating the issue.
We are asking the client to submit her Questionnaire so she can get properly onboarded, get matched to a Coach, and start her program. Our team has been ready and is ready to help her work on her fitness goals with this program.
