      Wish I could give no stars. I had solar panels on my last house and it was a great experience with that company. Momentum has been a nightmare for us. The panels were installed June 29th and almost four months later, they're still not on. After the install, they forgot to schedule the inspection. I slipped right through the cracks. I called two separate weeks and finally was able to schedule an inspection. The inspection was 6 weeks ago and they're still not on. Every time I call I get vague answers about why it's not turned on: "the app isn't working and we're trying to get it working". I don't understand how it can take so long. They seem very incompetent and I wish I could have gone with another company!

      Update 11/30/22: We are waiting on national grid to flip their review status, their customer service is slow. We just reached out to their manager for this project pending response.

      The system works perfectly and survived it's first hurricane through ******* with no destruction or leaks. My only regret is not getting more panels to overcompensate my energy usage. Everyone, from start to finish, was professional. They were all down to earth and never once "blew smoke up my skirt." Very satisfied. Even referred a few people.

      Staffs were very friendly and willing to help. The call service (*****) was also great - communication was very easy and all my concerns/needs/requests can be done through one call. The sale's person (***) was very nice, knowledgeable and convincing. The inspection (a lovely guy) and installation team (crew #2: *****, ****) did excellent jobs. They were open/honest, and very professional. I feel comfortable with their jobs and happy to have made a right decision with Momentum. Thank you guys.

      Me and my friend started to get solar together from momentum with same agent, now fastforward he is got solar installed and I still have to go through process of getting new agent to move forward and sign contract. When singning the contract I did explain my pain points of customer serivce not being good and have to deal with matching the price what my friend got. they agreed apon that will see what best they could do, Now 2 months passed no updates nothing I had to reach out customer support and they are saying they can offer $159/month with about same kW system who is paying $133/month. The reason momentum is saying that he got it few months before me and the time has passed it's changed. All that no communication was part from Momentum and they are asking me to pay for that loss of time, totally unprofessional. On top of that they are giving me example of going to restuaruant and asking for $20 burger for $14 which was offered to my friend with coupoun. I repiled, I had that coupon but I had to wait for 1hr for that burger to get it to my table and that coupon is no longer valid, so unproffestional. On top of that they are trying to corner me with time saying I have to sign the contract right on the call and what not. I did compare the quote with other company who were offering me same price better quality panels, I shared the details with them and they are trying to say you agreed apon that price but didn't sign, which I did but after close comparison I found panel is newer genration, and with less panels I'm getting more genration I decied to not to sign right away and now they are saying void it would breach of contract and what not to scare me and make me stick to it.

      Update: After this review I got the installation done some time in July. I had to turn on the system my self by calling customer support. The technician didn't came to start the system until October 10 and since he came my production is dropped significantly, god knows what he did, I have contected the point of contact person, *********, who helped me setup after this review but since then no replies on all these complains. Up until October I was getting back generation credit back and what not but even after installing 13.6KW system it doesn't cover my usage. Forget the usage, I am getting charged $150+ on my bill on top of Solar payment. I have made the biggest mistake in my life going through them and dealing with such a SCAM like company where they don't replay, won't take matter seriously unless I posted here. NO UPDATES WHAT SO EVER and top of that I HAVE TO PAY UTLILTY BILL AND SOLAR BILL. To be clear wasn't expecting it to be 0 utlity bill, but see optmimal prodcution what was planned. Specially comming out to turn on and the same day production dropped from average 65kWh to 10kWh average a day. I did open a case but no one has provided an update even after calling 100 of times.

      They are terrific at getting the system installed and that experience was very professional and efficient and that is where the story changes dramatically. It's going on three months and my system has not been turned on. The customer service and treatment or an existing customer is horrible. Long hold times. So as a check, I decided to suggest I was a new customer, that call was received in less than 2 minutes and this company should be embarrassed to treat people in this fashion, especially an actual customer. If you choose to do business with this company request management contact data including e-mail. You will never reach anyone competent again, once you are a customer.
