      Momentum and ADT keep calling from different numbers. I have asked to be removed and am on the national registry -- Requests are ignored. This is unacceptable and will be filing a suit if this continues.

      This is Re. Project #MS104442. On Jul 15th **** a Momentum sales rep visited me with a proposal to install a solar system. He misled me by saying that the federal tax rebate will not extend beyond 2022 and created an undue sense of urgency. The Sales rep had me apply for a loan and sign a contract saying that he needed it in order to give me a proposal. I told him I was unwilling to commit as I had just started researching whether a Solar system made a sensible investment for me. He falsely reassured me that I could cancel the contract any time before they make a site inspection, without any liability. I read the contract in-detail and realized that it had only a 3 day cancellation period beyond which there would be liabilities/penalties, I contacted the sales person on Jul 26th and reiterated that I had not made a final decision to purchase the system and asked Momentum to hold off until I made my decision. I once again inquired about any liabilities and once again I was assured that there was no reason for concern.On Aug 11th and 12th I communicated my decision to not go forward with the proposal to the Sales rep as well as a Project Manager who wanted to schedule a site inspection. Momentum sent me a revised design specs and proposal in Sep 2022, which I declined as well.On Feb 3rd 2023 I received a threatening letter by certified mail from the ** of legal affairs, pressuring me to go ahead with the project or that they would "seek recovery of our incurred costs via lien, civil action or other legal remedy". I do not understand what costs were incurred by Momentum as there is 1) No HOA approval 2) No site inspection done 3) No material delivered 4) The loan is cancelled.They have sent me a collection notice without doing anything besides the initial sales consultation!!!I want Momentum to cancel the contract and send me a certified letter confirming that it is cancelled.

      This company is a scam they send an agent to my home and scan me in getting solar panels they are a fraud and They told me so many lies to get me into signing a contract please stay away from this company they would do anything to get you into a contract and went up on my payments after tricking me into signing a contract

      Momentum has been in contact with the customer and addressed her concerns. Our billing representative advised ************** that her system is producing normally with no issues. Our representative also advised the customer that she is currently on a budget billing plan, which is why she is not seeing her solar credits. The customer understood and will be switching to a solar friendly plan. Our representative ****** also reached out to address any additional concerns the homeowner may have, but was unable to reach **************. We will be following up with the customer again on Monday 2/20.

      On September 17th, your solar expert/salesperson, *************************** from Momentum Solar, visited my home to discuss installing of a solar system. On that day, we agree that momentum will guarantee rebates in form of checks after the installation of my solar system. The rebate consists of $1500 for a gas generator, $265+ $265 for the mistake in calculation of the monthly bill because we were told we would get a monthly pay of $127 ($131/month was final price), $150 for buying out my current electric company provider (Gexa). The rebate totaled up to $2180, AND I was promised the rebate and interlock connection to hook up my generator. I have not seen the rebate in mail or ************* installed. I've have been waiting since the START of my solar system on 11/23/2022 (installed a month before then). On top of this, I was told I would be switching out of Gexa to another electric provider company, and Momentum would handle the switch for me. I am still receiving billing statements from Gexa as of February 7th, 2023. I called Momentum about my situation, and they said they do not see any documentation regarding my rebate, interlock, and switching out of Gexa. This is very upsetting. I revisited my loan documentation and I did not find mention of interlock and rebates. Rebates and ************* connection are one of the main reasons I decided to go with Momentum. If this matter does not resolve, I will have to take drastic measure because I was tricked into purchasing the system on false promises.

      Momentum Solar does not honor its warranty. Repeated attempts to have a technician come to resolve a potentially dangerous problem on our roof have been met with empty promises, no returned phone calls and no follow up. When calling ****************, I've had to sit on hold for as long as 25 minutes before someone picked up and at least once that I know of, my ticket was closed with no notification or explanation. I have called at least 6 times and each time I am subjected to meaningless apologies and empty promises.

      Momentum solar put solar panels on my home over 2 months ago. A meter and inspection was needed to finish the project. I had a date for them to come out for an inspection but they were a NO SHOW. Since then I have contacted the company 5 times and each time I get a different responce to my situation and was informed someone will contact me. No one has ever contacted me. This situation is unacceptable and I want the problem fixed.

      I contracted with Momentum Solar towards the end of ********************************* early 2020 of solar panels on my home. With one significant exception which I will outline here, I have been pleased with their work and execution for the last three years. When I met with their salesman and discussed the contract, one very significant aspect of that discussion was the promise that Momentum Solar had a one-time removal, storage, and reinstallation of the panels if I needed to replace the roof. Any additional times beyond that one-time would be my cost burden. Knowing that my roof was ***** years old at that time, this was a major factor for me deciding to accept the contract. Five months ago my home was hit by a tornado that caused enough damage to the roof that I will be needing to replace the roof. I reached out to Momentum to talk through how I go about preparing for the one-time removal, storage, and reinstallation Id been promised. They informed me that they no longer do that, but if I can produce a document that proves they promised this (would look like a letter from them) then they will reevaluate it. This aspect of the sale was a clear part of the sales presentation, and I know was in writing even though I cannot find it anywhere in the documents they gave me. I even reached out to the salesman who sold it to me and he confirmed it absolutely was a part of the promise, and he will be willing to testify if it has to come to that. I am confident that Momentum Solar knows exactly when it offered this incentive, and knows full well that it was a part of their business model in the era when I signed with them, but that they changed that incentive because it was not a long term profitable strategy. That is fine to change, but to retroactively go back and reverse it for people they contracted with is the definition of bad business. Apparently they only delivered proof of that promise in one hard copy letter, which I cannot locate anywhere.

They were very helpful and responded with me in the professional and helpful way that I had experience on every other interaction - as I mentioned in my initial complaint. This had been the only area of challenge, and now that they are readdressing the issue and working with me I am pleased. I would recommend Momentum to others as a business I have been pleased to have contracted with

      Good Afternoon, We signed a contract with Momentum Solar almost 2 years ago. To this day, we don't have working panels. First they installed less panels that we needed and not the more efficient, after many disputes, we realized we were out of contract. since the job was not finish, we requested them to remove the panels and never come back. They offered us to replace the panels for a more efficient version and add more panels to the maximum capacity of our roof without extra cost. We accepted and it took another 3 months for them to come do the installation. They came without noticed to do this job on January 4th. We were told that we should expect an inspeccion the next coming week after the installation. We wrote many emails asking for updates, we suspect that they did the installation without permit. We haven't been able to get a response from Momentum, they only keep forwarding our emails to someone else, but no one ever call or wrote a response. Again, It had been 2 years since we signed the first contract, this company should not be allow to continue doing business. We filled a complaint with the BBB before, and that was the only reason we got them to work with us Sincerely,**************************

      I am rejecting this response because: they failed all of the inspection this week. They are not waiting for anything from the city, they have to do the job. Imaginen to failed all the inspection because you dont have plans, or a secure ladder for the inspector to check the roof. Momentum Solar should be stripped from any recognition at the BBB.

      Momentum is working closely to finalize all inspections. We passed rough inspections on 02/21/23, and we are working on scheduling final building and electrical inspection dates. Once the final inspections pass, we can submit paperwork to the utility company to get the system energized.

      Momentum Solar installed Solar on my house in November of 2017.. *********** clearly stated there was a life time warranty on roof leaking due to solar panels. Mid January of 2023 during a rain event I had water coming through my light fixtures. I had my contractor who installed new roof in 2016 come to inspect it. Every bracket on every panel is leaking. There is yellow cake mold the size of a water melon on some rafters. It is clear and can be proven that these small leaks have been happening since install or shortly after. Momentum now says they sold contract to Sunovo and they are not liable. I will be filing a court action. My home is being destroyed and it is a health issue. It is obviously an install issue as over 100 small leaks are present. I want them to fix it immediately

      We appreciate ************ business.  According to our records, we installed his solar system in 2017.  Typically, our warranties extend for 5 years, and the first we heard of any problem was only recently and beyond the typical warranty period.  That being said, ********** has a leased system with Sunnova, so his contract is with Sunnova.  ******* is the entity who would handle ************ issue, and, unfortunately, we do not have access to his contract with Sunnova.  In these circumstances, we can only act to address a customers system with the approval of the entity that contracted with the customer and owns the system, that being Sunnova.  To date, Sunnova has not issued any directive to Momentum to address this issue.

      Have ended contract with business. They continue to contact me and threaten to come to my home after repeatedly expressing that I am not interested.

      Momentum has cancelled this homeowners contract. On 1/5/2023 we sent the homeowner a legal letter stating that the contract is cancelled and no monies are owed. A copy of that letter is attached. We have also ensured that this homeowner's phone number has been added to our Do Not Call list.
