      I have received hundreds of phone calls from this company over the course of a few years, sometimes upwards of 10 calls a day. At this point I feel harassed. I have never reached out to this company for any work, have asked to be removed several times from any existing call lists and to delete my information from their system. They have not complied with anything.

      In May of 2019 I hired Momentum solar to place solar panels on my roof. My nephew worked for the company and he was my sales guy. In my contract it stated I would receive a paper to file with my taxes to bring my payments down from $221.05 a month to $165.00 a month. Also I would have a one time free roof removal to do repairs or to replace my roof and then the panels would be replaced back on the roof. I can't find my contract but I know what my contract stated. Momentum has presented a contract that is fraudulent.

      I believe I was subject to deceptive sales tactics that misrepresented the terms of the solar installation and financing agreement. False Claims of ******************** Bills:Your salesperson, ******, promised the solar system would eliminate my electric bill. Since installation, this has occurred only once or twice, with no disclosure of mandatory fixed and variable utility fees charged by my utility company, significantly reducing promised savings.Concealed Commission Fees:****** failed to disclose his exorbitant commission, which inflated the systems cost and obscured financing terms. This lack of transparency, coupled with Dividend Finances alleged hidden finance charges.Misrepresented Net-Metering Benefits:****** exaggerated the financial benefits of net metering, failing to disclose that energy credits are compensated at wholesale rates, not retail rates, as required by Texas utility policies. This misrepresentation falsely portrayed the system as more lucrative than it is.Undersized Solar System:I believe ****** intentionally undersized the system to maximize profits and commissions. The system fails to cover our annual electricity consumption, accounting for seasonal variations, limiting savings and necessitating costly upgrades. Momentums suggestion to add panels after charging $47,000 for an undersized system designed by your team is unacceptable.Misleading Claims of Extra Income:******* promise of extra income from excess solar production was deceptive. I later learned that cash payments for surplus energy are rare, with net metering providing only minimal wholesale-rate credits applied to future bills -a common scam tactic in the solar industry.Due to these misrepresentations, minimal tax savings, and the inflated system cost, my electric bill is consistently 45% higher than without solar. Continuing this contract would cause significant financial hardship and distress, particularly as senior citizens.

      Momentum Solar has been in communication with the homeowner. Regarding the homeowners concerns about the sales representative, it was clarified that the representative does not have control over the commission structure. It was also confirmed that there is available roof space should the homeowner wish to add additional panels; however, this would incur additional costs. The homeowners system has consistently performed within a 10% variance, and it was explained that the system was designed and sold with an expected offset of 80%. Additionally, the homeowner has been informed that this is a loan agreement, and as such, Momentum Solar is not in a position to terminate the contract.

      My *********** spoke with this business over 6 months ago several ********** determined with them that solar energy was not right for our ************* Since the. We have literally received 5-6 calls from this insane company daily including ********************** are observing Christians! Additionally, I swipe report junk & delete, but yet they call on yet multiple other #s.its harassment. Please make them stop!!!!

      I got my solar panels installed in April of this year. First of all I want to say this before I start the story by saying Im a Haitian men and I dont speak much English this is how the sales person who helped me was able to lie and mislead me about the contract and how it works. It started off by a sales person named ********* came to my door offering a quote for a solar system. We talked for a few hours he told me my electricity bill would lower to $19. So finally i signed the contract and he left. The next day me and wife were thinking and we had called to cancel the contract and it was canceled. But then a salesperson named ******* called me and try to convince for another quote and even started to harassed me to get me to agree. Then after he had another salesperson call me. The other Sales person who was also Haitian called me that day and started to convince me to get the solar system he called me day and night convincing me to accept the contract. He also told me I would be able to cancel the contract anytime and many other things that I came to know werent true. And also during the conformation call he was on the I finally was able to know that I was being lied to because during the time of my first bill I noticed a $12 billing fee I had called customer service to figure out why I had this fee and they said that if I didnt put a banking account on file for auto pay they would charge me this fee every month. And when speaking to the sales *** he told me that just put my credit card on file and they would just remove that fee. I even asked him if he was sure and he said yes. I have been lied to and misled by the sales *** throughout this whole process. This situation is so frustrating. I have called Momentum solar to remove these solar panel off of my roof and cancel the contract. Theyre just telling me they cant remove it nor cancel it because its a 25 year contract and that they dont own the contract its owned by *** which are the financier.

Im the one that constantly reaches out to them. Theyre continuing to turn a blind eye on the situations not trying to provide help in any way.

      Where do I begin I submitted a claim maybe 7-8 months ago and at the time I thought we settled on an amount. Fast forward to when the part came in and they installed the item. Since install there were more issues holding up project and we are now 2 more months past the 6month time frame. Recently they failed the final inspection because they installed a lesser part versus what I was contracted. But as I went to collect the 500 discussed payment they asked me to sign a document. In this document they are stating I cannot speak about this project or my experience with the company. Basically if my mother asks me about solar I must please the 5th. And I will not do that. So original complaint is not settled and now I have another complaint as every step of this project has been a problem They do not want to settle and will force me to call a lawyer. I did not want to have to do that but they leave me no choice. This company is awful and I do not want anyone else to have to deal with these headaches. I decided to get solar and its been over 2 years and I still do not have a fully functioning system to cover my electricity

      Momentum Solar has been in ongoing communication with the homeowner. Momentum offered to waive a portion of the outstanding balance related to the inconvenience caused by the delay in installing the meter pan required for the panel add-on project. However, the homeowner declined this offer. The project has since passed the witness test with the utility provider, and we are now awaiting the final paperwork to approve system activation. Momentum will continue to remain in contact with the homeowner until the matter is fully resolved.

      This company has been harassing me by calling at least 5 times per day. I have requested multiple times that they remove me from their call list, but that clearly is ignored (as you can see by all of the other complaints of this same issue). It is also impossible to block/report their number because each call is from a new number. Even if I was interested in solar, which I already have, I would never want to work with a company that harasses potential customers like this.

      This company seems unable to accept 'no' for an answer. They not only call multiple times a day, but also come by the house when they are told not to. We have asked to be taken off their call list, but the man just keeps talking over you, stating that someone will "be in the neighborhood," so they will stop by (I have video evidence of this). This is after saying no several times on the phone. This has been going on for several months now and is beyond harassment at this point. I would like to be permanently removed from any further contact with this company. I am not the only one who has submitted this type of annoyance by Momentum Solar. It needs to stop!

      I declined to buy their Solar panels and told them to stop calling me as I would never deal with a company that harasses potential customers. That worked for about 2 weeks then the calls started again 2 calls today and 4 yesterday. Take me off your list!
