      I was a ez pass customer for 10 years, these couple of months my tag was not being read, and it racked up 23 violations up to $1,400! I cant dispute any of these violations and I had to pay a fine for them to consider re-opening my account. $400 later and they tell me my account cant be reinstated, my violations cannot be disputed and Im stuck with a $1,400 bill, this is truly unfair, after 10 years I end up with this issue. I tried calling and getting to a representative takes up to 2 hours!!! Very frustrating situation!!!

      Sent me bill for a misread plate (mine is on a utility trailer which hasn't left yard in 2 years let alone ever been to **, I've never even been through **) now they send collection agency after me over a 3$ toll that's not mine and they don't answer phone calls even after 2 hours on hold. They don't answer emails and when I make a ticket for help on website I get email that case is closed multiple times. Never got an original bill for the 3$ but I did get a bill for 53$ with late charge. How can they charge a late fee if you never even knew you owed anything to a state you've never been to?

      I had a violation which I fought and got waived. However, I received a notice from credit and collection agency that I am in default $100! Are you kidding? I have been trying to reach them by phone for two weeks now (and have the call log to prove it). I keep getting the message We are experiencing high call volume. Please call back. I have a busy job and cannot keep taking the time to rectify this. Just aweful!

      They need to be investigated and held accountable. Charging me $265 when my threshold gets to $65. Who has money to constantly give them $330 in tolls I haven't used? I average about $75 a week. Criminal algorithm. Tried to remove the autopay function on the website or app. You cant. Waited for a chat for 30mins. Finally someone removed the auto pay and said I would be charged $10 for my tag? Checked my account, they took off the autopay, then my threshold went to $130/ Doubled! Politicians must be in the pockets why else would this be allowed. They need to be investigated NOW!

      The first phone call mysteriously dropped after 33 minutes of waiting. After retrying and waiting 1:38:35 I decided to end the call. I am not sure who is at fault the staff or the company for lack of inadequate manpower but at this point I am very disappointed and dissatisfied. Im not sure as to why ** Ezpass stop allowing the system to credit or waive the administration fee on the site for Ezpass holders but this would help cut down a lot of calls. Tomorrow I guess I take the trip to ****** and see if I can satisfy my balance. Very disheartening and time consuming. Get it together ** Ezpass!!!

      Money machine!Although I have a $25.00 minimum set up for my account, it did not replenish automatically, then I got a violation while I was ill with covid and my violation was sent for collection.Ez pass keeps my money in the account, does not produce any interest for the acct holder, and when there is an issue on their end I get sent a violation and collection.Wonder if this is at all legal, because in terms of customer treatment this is totally unbeliable.Wish there was a better company running the tolls in **/NY area.

      They deserve no stars! Worst company ever! I lived in ** most of my life. I use E-ZPass because I have no choice since they made toll clerks obsolete. I move to ** and E-ZPass had been the worst experience of my move. I usually use autopay so I always have money on my account. Usually you are able to edit your replenish amount. Not with NJ E-ZPass! They will see how many times you use E-ZPass (which is all the **** time since every entrance and exit is a toll) and add their own amount which for me was over $200! Then when my account is no where near $0 they replenish it again with ANOTHER $200! Calling customer ********************** is no help either! You are in hold all day! Literally! Then they want to put you through the wringer about how you cant get the money back once its on the account! Total waste of a company!

      The hold time is endless, over an hour each time I try calling with no resolution. I keep receiving bills even though I'm an ezpass customer and my pass is clearly displayed. When I try to dispute it online, I'm told I can't so instead I have to wait hours on hold and get nowhere!!

      I am currently on hold with NJ EZ Pass, 1 hour and 4 minutes. I returned all of my tags and have email receipts acknowledging that they have ALL been returned. Now it's time to refund my money they charged after I closed my account. They claimed I would get back the $35. It has not happened. Months have gone by. This place is 100% useless.
