    Never use this company.I rented a full size vehicle they gave me a midsize Camry. The employee lied about it being full size. I was charged a rediculous amount of fees hidden in their contract that you cant read before signing because its on a white screen. I received a text message with the contract only when it was time for them to hit me with penalties I knew nothing about. $35 dollar penalty per day everyday for driving out of ** even for that days you did not spend out of state. When I specifically asked the counter guy are there any fees he told me no only a $9 dollar fee per day that you use EZPass. If you want a stress free rental please stay away from Drivo

    Unsafe! They gave me a SALVAGED vehicle that had previously been in a wreck and was unsafe to drive. It kept pulling to the right and then violently correcting itself. When I realized this and called them, they put me on hold forever, then told me a manager was not available and would call me back. No one ever called me. I tried to get through again and was hung up on. The car was full of dents and scratches and smelled of vape/ weed. Very dishonest - they push you to buy a $230 insurance policy when your own car insurance likely covers you and the rental car and they make it seem like it's required. Another customer got a car with a cigarette burn in the upholstery in addition to all of the dents and scratches and smells. **********. Never again!

    Terrible. Hidden Fees in this economy ****. Quoted for a midsize vehicle online for about $450 and paid $895 upon return due to collision fee of $200 and permitted out of state travel fee of $210. If it quack like a duck, its probably a duck. DRIVO IS SCAM not because they are stealing or using your information in a nefarious way. But they are a scam because they knowingly withhold information that if they were upfront about would lead them to having no advantage in the car rental market. I digress.

    Better to pay more and use the rental places at the airport. Every thing about this rental was too much. Trying to get to them from airport was so much work and to drive to them to return the vehicle. I ask questions and get different answers from everyone. They tell me one thing on the phone but when I get there its different. So now after having to come up with $500 deposit because I came from ********** and only brought certain credit cards they would not take the one I had even though I called and asked questions but no one told me anything about which credit cards they wanted. I have no idea what the fees are going to be for toll because no one gives the person from out of state any good information about tolls although I asked serval times. Now they tell me to wait 6-7 days and I will get an email about the extra fees they will charge me for the tolls. So this whole process has been draining and I am very frustrated.

    I had the worst experience ever!Both with customer service and the folks who presumably should help resolve my issues.Make sure you see the contract before you sign anything. They tell you very minor snippets of the contract to get you to sign, when you ask for the contract, they promise to email it to you which they never did then use said contract against you when you have issues with their vehicle.They tell you you are responsible for tires, battery and other parts on the car.I was stranded on the road heading to an important event because their car broke down in the middle of the road. Battery keeps dying. They refused to provide an alternative ride for me to get to my destination. On top of that, they told me I should drive that same car back to their facility in order for me to get a replacement knowing that the car had broken down twice and then shut off on its own after I got help to move the car from the middle of the road in traffic and jumpstart the battery. I explained to them that doing what they ask would place me in an unsafe and dangerous situation on the road given that the car has proven to break down in the middle of the road and shut off on its own after I got it jump started while waiting for their help. They didnt care. They still contended that I should drive the car back to them.I had to have the car towed back to them and they refused to compensate me for the time I had left on my rental service or replace the car or even the kind courtesy of providing me with a simple **** or taxi ride.Goes without saying that I would NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone.

    Car is great. But the location of their office is outside the airport requiring another 30 min to your time. - They over changed me by adding insurance when I specifically asked not to include insurance because my card covers it and still charged me. - I had to also pay $50 extra for traveling outside the tri-state area!!! Never mentioned before. Will not rent from here if possible.

    I rented a vehicle from Drivo (ACE) and they attempted to pressure me into purchasing insurance, despite the fact that I had already acquired insurance through the ******* website. The Camry I received had a damage light illuminated, the bumpers were damaged, some interior paneling was missing, and there were scratches all over the vehicle. When I informed the representative about these issues, he claimed that he already had photographs of the car on his computer. Distrusting this, I took my own pictures as well. Upon returning the vehicle, I requested that an associate inspect the car, but he refused and told me I was free to leave. I asked for documentation, and he stated that I would receive an email. Days later, I received a call from the insurance company informing me that I had scratched the vehicle and that the cost would be $1,000.00. I was not surprised, given that they did not even examine the vehicle, and I had never rented a car in such poor condition. Additionally, they charged my credit card multiple times. In the future, I will pay a little more to rent from a more reputable car rental company. I advise others to avoid Drivo ACE car rental at **************.

    Tried charging me extra for insurance that I already have. Forced to enroll in fast pass that I didnt want- told there was no other option. Wanted to pick up car 2 hours earlier and wanted to charge me $300 Brought back car 1 day early and was charged a late fee. Horrible experience

    Already had insurance but had to get "more insurance". Then was told they were giving me an upgrade as a courtesy because they saw I had 2 kids with me, I'm thinking it's an suv but it was a sedan that wasn't car seat friendly at all and there wasn't a way to put the child lock on. When it came time to return the car there were no shuttles and we were forced to take an **** to the airport when they're supposed to provide shuttles to and from.

    First, let me say the people working at the office location were spot on. got me out with my car in about 5 minutes. that part worked great!the problem was getting to the office from **************. the email from *********** had the incorrect directions to the pickup point for the shuttle. when I arrived and called for a pickup, it took 10 minutes on hold before someone spoke to me. he then told me I was in the wrong place and told me where the correct location was (opposite end of the airport). when I arrived at the new location and called again for a pickup, I was left on hold for over 30 minutes! I never spoke to anyone!! I happened to look outside and a shuttle pulled up. thankfully, we were able to squeeze on. I would not rent from this location again. its too difficult getting the car.
