    I had a very good experience. I performed a pre rental check and it all looked very good to me so I signed off on it. The next day I found that there had been a crack in the cover for the outside mirror, i called and reported it to them and then went to a Chevy dealer and purchased the replacement, figuring that they would ding me for it anyway and this way i would avoid labor and loss of use charges.
    When I returned it they took the receipt and gave me full credit including taxes and my 3% credit card charge that I had to pay the dealer.
    Very pleasantly surprised as the charges were $140

    Also, extremely convenient to LaGuardia, within walking distance

    This car company is terrible!! They discriminate costumers,rob them and treat them really bad!! I'm being charged for a rental that I didn't even picked up because the day I was supposed to pick up the car for my sister wedding they try to steal from me and when I questioned they kicked me out after discriminate me and embarrassing me in front of costumers and employees!!
    I was waiting in line with other costumers to pick up a rental.When they called me to check in I questioned why they were charging me more that the rates I was given online and they gave me a bunch of BS for explanation but I was determined to have them honor the price.Shaun the supervisor didn't like me questioning and have me standing for my rights but they didn't had another option so they had to honor what was online. Another costumer also complained because he's rate was $400 over!
    Anyway, unhappy to give the right price, the supervisor now told me that he have to run my credit in order to allow me to have the car and if my credit was under 540 I wasn't allowed to rent the car( I have an impeccable credit,credit cars,DL and deposit for the rental)
    I found that kind odd but I thought it was new policy and agreed.
    But after he goes to another room,I noticed he was doing this only with me!! I questioned another costumers and nobody has they credit checked!!
    When I questioned him about this and td him this was discrimination, he told me to leave the building!!!
    I was shocked!! Today 5 days later I have a charge on my credit card for a rental that never happened from this company!!
    Becarful! They still from people if you Don watch close and discriminate costumers!!
    Horrible company!!

    Not a very honest company. They charged me for an upgrade that was supposed to be included in my initial booking. I booked through Hotwire.com and the ad said free upgrade to special car. Once I got to the rental car office they baited me into spending an additional $40 for an upgrade. I also felt the collision insurance was way overpriced. No hard copies of rental agreement or changes were provided. Said I was saving money even though I pre paid for my reservation through a 3rd party website. So after the "upgrade" the car I got was exactly what I booked there was no upgrade about it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

    I love dealing with Drivo. In particular the Coney Island location. Getting to this location is convenient and their service is wonderful.
