      I have back door pickup service through my trash provider because I am handicapped. Every month, sometimes multiple times a month, I have to call to complain that my trash wasn't picked up. They come pick it up usually at a later date, but it happens monthly, sometimes more than once. It is bad business, and I call and complain, and no one cares, and nothing changes. They offer these services to the handicapped community and then don't follow through. It is frustrating, and I want them to do better. They have put spray marks and stickers on my mailbox, and I call monthly to say I need my services performed. They didn't pick up my trash last week, and this week is a holiday week, so at times I have to go two weeks without trash services, and they charge me full price when my trash gets skipped some weeks.

      I cannot get GFL to collect my garbage, answer their customer service line or respond to online complaints, or credit my account for repeatedly skipping my service. I currently have six weeks of trash and recycling piled up at the end if my driveway. And prior to this current stretch, they were very inconsistent in collecting trash. In the past six months alone I have submitted 19 complaints for missed pick **** I managed to connect with a representative almost two weeks ago (after 2 hours on hold) and was promised a pick up last week. It didnt happen. I previously asked for credit for missed pick *** and they havent done so. For reference, last summer I went through a similar situation with them and had slightly better service for a few months.

      They didn't give a response, just asked for more time. I have two months of rotting garbage they have abandoned at the end of my driveway. More time is not acceptable.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I honestly have no other option. I cannot accept you telling me someone will reach out soon. NO ONE EVER DOES. I have been totally ignored - ghosted. I have called, left weekly compaints about missed pick **** Promised a pick up by the route supervisor and in the weeks since then, I can't even get a call back when I wait on hold for two hours to try to speak to a customer service rep and get auto-bounced to the call-back line. And of course your company has kept ALL my money for services never rendered.

      Gfl environmental has not picked up trash/recycling for a few weeks. They refused to credit/refund on their missed dates and per contract expect us to pay the full amount. Supposedly they were bought out by another company but won't credit the account we're forced to pay.

      I have been trying to cancel service for 2 months sent emails phone calls and nothing. Our trash wasnt even picked up in those 2 months we finally got through to a person and said they could cancel but they recommended to remove auto pay because we would still be charged. They also refused to refund payment even though I have documentation of cancellation!

      We took some time to review the account. We were unable to locate a request to cancel under the name ***************************. We would be happy to backdate the refund of the account if provided a copy of the web request to cancel, proof of competitor, or proof of no service during that time. Otherwise, the account will remain cancelled effective 6/30/24 and we will refund the July 2024 payment that was made on 6/26/24. Thank you.

      GFL has sold their business, leaving customers with out garbage ******************** going on 4 weeks! Its horrible and a health issue for all effected.

      June 7,14,21st My garbage was not picked up. I contacted GFL on the 7th ,14th and 21. I left a message on the 7th and the 14th and on the 21st i contacted them in the morning as did my husband and my husband told the woman that if they did not pick up our garbage on the 21st we would drop it off at their doorstep. No pickup on Friday, Saturday or Sunday so my husband dropped it off at their doorstep on the 23rd of June and I received a bill for $44.40 and I called them on the 25th of June as I was told they would credit me 2 Weeks of them not picking up my trash. I don't think i should have to pay for a service I never got.They did credit me 1 out of 4

      Repeatedly this company skips service, does not issue proper credit, does not answer the phone, call back, respond to online requests or do anything. They also have a contract with the township that does not allow any other trash and recycle service to service our township. I am stuck with overflowing trash and no one to help me.

      I cancelled my services and then received a bill for $20 that I do not understand. I&#**;m being told this is for cancelling services but I did not sign a contract that states I would be charged.

      GFL received the contract for the city of ******* to be our waste hauler. They have since raised prices and miss deliveries consistently. I called last week when our entire neighborhood was missed and was told a ticket was entered and I would be taken care of. 4 days later my trash is still sitting at the end of my driveway as well as my entire street.

      GFL Environmental ***************** (**********, **************** 6 weeks without trash being collected in 90 degree heat. Waited on hold for over two hours trying to speak with some, was hung up on twice, only to be told she couldn't credit my account all she could do was take my complaint. Asked to be called back and never was. I have left numerous online complaints about every missed trash, and recycling being picked up and mixed in with trash. No one has called, texted, or emailed us. We are trying to cancel our service and cant even get a date when cans will be taken away. Service has been declining since 2021, we have never received any credit back for there errors. Numerous neighbors have been trying to call or lodge complaints and cancel service with them and no one can get any answers. Im writing on behalf of myself and others because this business needs to be held accountable for there actions and there mis-handlings. And as the BBB I want others to know how they choose to run their business. I had much more written about this company but I am limited to a certain amount of Characters so this as brief as possible.
