      I canceled **************** a few years ago. They were supposed to send me a refund check a long time ago. They finally sent a check for $44.94 but they are so incompetent they put the wrong name. The name should be ******************, not CHERYLALBERTO.       I cancelled services with the vendor , GFL, and they picked up my trash cans in January. They recently bought out a company that serviced my home. They did not adjust my invoice for services not provided due to them picking up my cans in January for January * March services. They left a balance on my account for 2 months of services. They said they would not adjust my balance. They confirmed they were not servicing my account in February * March. They did not return cans to continue services paid for. They did not provide services as described by the invoice. I attempted to resolve at least 7 times dated below. Final attempt on 02/23 to resolve and they did not contact me back as promised by a supervisor. To add on to the lack of support and lack of attention to detail, they continue to call me ****** vs *****.       On March 17th we had a horrible hail storm. My garbage bin suffered damage. I called **** on March 20th and spoke to ******* who told me she would call me back with a date for replacement. She never called. I called again on the 26th and was told it was replaced on the 25th. I was home all day and checked our security cameras and no one from GFL came down our street. ******** then told me it would be replaced on Wednesday April 3rd. It was not so I called and spoke to ******* who said it will be delivered by 7 pm. It was not. I called again on April 4th and asked to speak to a supervisor. ******** told me she would send an email to the supervisor and she would call me back. I have not received a call. This is becoming a full-time job just to get a replacement. I would really appreciate if someone could get this company to do what they say they are going to do. Thank you.

      I had a 5 year agreement with Gfl environmental and it just ended in march 2024, I can to an agreement with a different company and I want them to pick up their dumpster so I can arrange the new company to drop off their dumpster and I have been calling for 3 weeks, I talk to someone every time and they always say the same thing, someone will call you and no one ever calls

      I recently cancelled my service with GFL. I was told via email from GFL that on March 25th, GFL would pick up my last day of Trash and schedule a time for the Trash Container to be picked up later in the week. Instead, they dumped my trash out in my driveway and took the container? I was paid up for all of March? This was extremely rude and unprofessional. This driver should be reprimanded for his unprofessionalism!

      We are paying for services that we are not receiving! We have had Three missed Schduled pick *** .in a row. Last Thursday March 21st we were missed again. I keep calling and they tell me that the driver marked us as our recycle can was not out. It has been each and every time. I called yesterday March 25th to see if we were scheduled for a missed Pickup and was told yes that they would pick our can up yesterday. They did not and our can is still sitting down there full. I have called 4 times and asked to talk to a supervisor and was told they were unavailable and someone would call me back between 24 and 48 hours. No one has called. I can't even find out why they are constantly missing us.

      I have been trying to cancel and close my account with GFL since January 20th 2024. I first called on January 20th, I was told to send a certified letter. I did so that day and it was not canceled. I sent another certified letter as requested and still it was not canceled. I've called over 50 times, sent emails, certified letters, and a new method last week to fill out a form and email it back to them. I have done all of it and they keep telling me it will be escalated to the manager but nothing ever happens.

      My account has a balance of $160.50 for March 2024 services and they also took money from my bank account to pay for February 2024 services in the amount of $161.26. 

      My account needs to be credited to have a zero balance and a refund issued back to my bank account for $161.26.

      Paid GFL to pick up my trash once a week.. Back in late Oct paid them up front 265. For 5 months of service .. they skipped me at least 2xs a month. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid a reduced amount for the another 3 months and they continued to skip my trash. And when asked they cant explain why?? Told me some one was coming 2 days later and they never came. I am 68 and its difficult for me to get the can up my drive and I only have one can.. this leaves me with no where to put trashI made 4 phone calls on 3/20 with no explanation as to why they cant get my trash.

      While I was away from my former primary residence (*******************************************************************), the bill for September - November 2023 service quarter was due on August 21, 2023 (service was prepaid). Service was discontinued and waste bin was removed by GFL in mid-September due to non-payment (past due), meanwhile no service was provided during this first two weeks of the cycle(they claimed these were missed pickups). By January 2024, I received a letter from a collection company for the same prepaid billing period for which service was discontinued. On calling GFL customer service, they insisted the bill must be paid, even though service was not provided, just because I did not call them to cancel (to cancel an already discontinued service, for which bin was taken away 2 weeks into service cycle?). I was forced to pay due to the aggressiveness of the collection agency.This is an unfair and fraudulent business practice. GFL environmental should be stopped from continuing this behavior.

      Thank you for following up with us. The invoice for September, October, and November, was generated on 8/1/2023. There was a due date of 8/21/2023. The account was cancelled for non-payment on September 14th. The container removal work order was completed on September 25th. The customer did not submit any cancellation request prior to the quarter starting on September 1st. The customer paid the balance on 3/7/24 and is no longer in collections.       I am rejecting this response because: this is exactly the same beating-about-the-**** GFL did over the phone without addressing the main exploitative tactics it uses on unsuspecting customers, acting like they dont understand simple English.

      1. Its prepaid billing (due for payment on 8/21/2023, for service starting in 9/1/2023 through 11/30/2023

      2. Service was officially cancelled by GFL on 9/14/2023 and bin removed on 9/25. 9/1 - 9/25 no waste was collected from the home (ie. no service was provided during the service period(lying that these were missed pickups).

      3. Yet they circled back to collect payment for same period that a single service was not provided and they are foolishly justifying this fraud by claiming that I did not place a call to cancel service(service that had already been cancelled by GFL, by the company itself)

      4. My question is - Is this not a rip-off GFL did to me? Is it not? Criminal Company!!!
