      I cancelled my GFL Residential trash service around August 14, 2025 due to frequent dissatisfaction with the companys service. At that time, because I had prepaid for the next quarter prior to 8/10, as is required by GFL, I had a credit of $284.09 at the time of my cancellation. Since then, I have repeatedly called the local branch of *** and been told that the refund would take 6-8 weeks, or one person even said 12 weeks. Either way, it has been longer than that and I have not received a refund. Each time I have spoken with someone, they have assured me that my problem has been, escalated to the next managerial level, but I have no way of confirming this. I have not received emails, letters, or phone calls from anyone letting me know anything about the status of this considerable refund. The documents show my payment in early August plus the credit owed to me. The third document shows that they charged my credit $45 in October for picking up my containers. I also dont consent to that being removed from what I am owed. The receptacles were picked up by GFL and I shouldnt be charged for that. Had I kept them, would they have also charged me? I am expecting a full refund of the $284.09 that is listed in the September invoice. This is a large sum of money that I am owed by GFL and waiting this long is ridiculous.

      I was contacted by the office manager of the local ********** today by phone and she explained that she had personally followed through with our account and refund, and that the check was being cut at corporate today, to be mailed from headquarters in ******, no later than Friday 11/28.  She stated that I should have the check in hand by 12/9, if not before. If I dont, I have her direct line to pursue it.

      We need them to come pick up their trash and recycle bins like they have been promising to do for over a month. Our neighborhood changed trash providers and they have not picked up their old bins like they promised to do and I've called multiple times and sent a fax and letter to them but got no response. Verbally they keep saying they will have someone pick it up but they are still at our house. We will be disposing of them in 7 business days if not picked up by then.

      We apologize for our inability to get the carts removed. After speaking with the local operations team for the area, we've come to the conclusion that we will not be able to remove the carts. The customer is free to do with them what they will. They can choose to dispose of them as necessary via taking them to the local landfill or however else they see fit. The customer will not be charged in any way whatsoever regarding the carts.

      We've gone two trash pick up weeks now without our trash being picked up. We've spoken to people on the phone nearly every day and have filed complaints through ***. We were promised our trash will be picked up last Friday (pick up day is Monday) and the trash was no picked up. Trash was also not picked up this week and nothing has been resolved.

      This would have been my third weekly trash pick up. The first two weeks the trash and recycling came. This week the service was moved to wed 11/5. My recycling got picked up. My trash did not. I called Thursday 11/6 and was assured they would come and pick it up. Thursday came and went. No pick up. I called today 11/7 and they said you ate on the schedule. Nothing. My trash is full and starting to smell. Their reliability is horrid.

      This is the second week in a row they have skipped my trash. At first I thought it was an accident but today (at 3am) I watched them go through and pick up everyone elses but mine. I attached a video showing them pull up to my trash can and then someone in the passenger seat is on a clipboard and they keep driving. I walked outside when the truck went by again and they drove right past me! I have no space for other trash this is insane!Not to mention the changed trash days and didnt even say anything! I had to figure it out when I woke up from hearing the trash truck go by at 3am!

      We apologize for the issues that have occurred. Per our operations team in the area, we sent a driver back out and the container was emptied. Moving forward our operations team will follow up with the driver on the residents service day to ensure they are serviced. We will continue the follow up for 3-4 weeks.  Concerning the residential re-route and communication of the re-route, mailers were sent to all those customers that incurred a day change.  Unfortunately, those mailers are at the mercy of the **** and we had thousands of RTSs to the office.  When spot checking the post cards/mailers sent to those folks that incurred a day change, their mailing address was in fact correct, therefore, we are uncertain as to why they (the mailers) were returned.  Additionally, if the customer is in an ************** their property management group was notified, and they (the property management group) email blasted their communities that underwent a day change.  We are still working out some kinks for the re-route and hope our dispatch times for our routes will start occurring later in the mornings.

      CAlled April 10 to complain. Missed 2 pick-up in March before the Ice Storm of March 30 and 31. Called after 2 missed pickup in April. I understand there was an ice storm but the trucks were seen in our neighborhood. Called June 10th when we recieved a bill but had had NO SERVICE. NO pick*** since early March. Called them again on July 10th when another bill came again with no service. At some point duing these 3 months a repesentative of GFL called to say there was a balance on my account and I told them that they could send it to the address on the account. She informed me that it was a balance due, I again informed them that they had provided me with no service for at least 3 month and would not be paying them. Their lack of service on three or more pick-*** resulted in my husband hauling our trash thirty miles round trip to a disposal site and paying 25$.

      We have had GFL servicing our dumpsters for years without any issues. In the last month and a half now suddenly according to GFL there aresevere issues with the ability to pick the dumpster up. It has never been a problem, and now it is a problem. We have not changed anything on where we park our vehicle so it must be something that changed onGFLs end. If we were fine when we signed the contract with where the vehicles are parked, then they want us to change the contract, which is unacceptable. If *** wants to change the contract, then they have to allow us out of the contract. They cannot expect us to stay with a contract when you change it afterwards. We parked our cars there for 20 years and it has never been an issue now a GFL has a problem with it. That is not our problem.

      I paid for the service for the months of September - November. After I paid, they stopped picking up my garbage. I complained for the first week and they gave me a credit for one week. The second week of September was the same thing. No pick up. After complaiming, they picked it up on another day. Well, the third and fourth week, I complained AGAIN that there was no pick up of my garbage. I had to go to the Dump to eliminate my trash. Each time, I was promised that it would be picked up. Finally, I asked for a refund and cancellation of service. They said they would not give refunds since they NEVER give refunds. They cancelled my service and picked up the can. I feel that this was theft since they took my money and did not provide the service.

      I started service with *** in March of 2025. Service has been horrible since Ive signed up. However, moving forward my money was taking when I initially signed up but no service. I called to notify the office a credit was then placed on the ****. The service then started & trash was forgotten again, I then called the office again and another credit was then placed on the acct in which lasted until September. A copy of the written credit wasnt sent out to me, I went by the **** word of mouth. I received an invoice for $59 for the months of July through September. In which a credit was given for no service. I then contacted a supervisor in which called me from an unknown number, in which she was rude. I asked for clarity of my bill in which she tried to explain but wasnt making any sense. I asked for a copy of what she has to be sent to my email. The supervisor said this may take some time to get to you, I provide her my email. Never received the request. She was also rude. This trash service hasnt been running properly as promised since Ive signed up. Trash up is Friday, some days then come Saturday. I do not have time to keep calling everytime service isnt done. Im displeased with the service. Our section gets overlooked a lot .

      Began service August 2025 for weekly trash pickup. Have not received the service paid for more than one week in 11 week period. Have made all reasonable attempts to contact business to get the issue resolved with no improvement.
