      This service was canceled March 12th as a result of consistent non pick up of trash. I have had to call repeatedly to have trash picked up. It has been erratic at best. Weeks when they would provide the service it would be a day early, a day late or so late in the afternoon I would think they weren't coming and remove the trash can. I paid for January, February and March in December 9, 2024 Check # **** I was instructed to leave the trash can (full) beside the road and they would come pick it up. I have picture of the can beside the road April 5, 2025

      Our ************* through our city utilities (**************, **) is GFL environmental. They are extremely flaky about picking up our trash on time and if we dont basically leave our trash cans sitting in the road they want even take 2 steps to empty them. At this point, our trash has been sitting in the road for over 2 weeks and they still havent picked it up. We have called our city everyday for a week. They have said they have contacted management and have received no response. I would like my trash picked up ASAP. Both of my trash cans are full and there are bags sitting beside it because there is nowhere else to put it!

      Called because scheduled pickup yesterday was missed and didn't get service today. I was told that they either could a) issue a credit and pick up on next Wednesday or, b) make the missed pickup next Monday and no adjustment to bill

      On 6/19/2025, our trash can were not picked up. We left them outside in the event that they ****'t collected due to the holiday. The entire neighborhood didn't get service. We called on Monday, June 23rd to determine if there was an issue with pickup and were told that Thursday was not a holiday for them and perhaps we didn't put our trash out in time. I explained that we put our trash out the night before every week and the entire neighborhood was still waiting for a pickup. The lady (T) stated she would call me back after she emailed Operations. Fast forward to Thursday, 6/2/25, GFL still did not pick up our trash cans. The entire neighborhood still has two weeks of trash outside. I call again and was told the same thing. I called back an hour later because I still hadn't heard back and was given the run around. I called the corporate office where Sheqouia (not sure how to spell her name) had a horrible attitude and eventually told me that she wasn't asking me or my husband all of these questions for her health. I was literally floored by he comment. I assumed she was asking me these questions for the job that she has to pay her bills. We paid our $180 bill on May 27, 2025. We pay it on autopay so they are never missing their payment, so I'm not understanding why there is a lack of service and employees unaware of what is going on.

      I just moved into my home 5/2/2025. Previous owner had 3 GFL reach bins. I have been calling for over a month now to have additional trash bins removed from my property. Today 6/27/2025 they are still here. I have called 5 times and was assured that they would be picked up on my schedule trash day. One time the *** said they were short staffed and behind. I have been patient but this is ridiculous. I paid 150 upfront for poor service. Today I even called to speak with a supervisor about the issue and was hung up on. At this point I just want a refund and to discontinue service with this company. Neighbors have warned that they give poor service.

      **********************!GFL Environmental **** out of ************, ** is by far the WORST trash company we have ever dealt with in the state of *******. They are the company that services ************** in ******, *******. We got automatically signed up with them by the rental company and our neighbor told us right away that everyone else in the whole neighborhood had ditched them because theyre terrible. Well, they were exactly right! ?For the past four months, they have missed Brans trash two weeks out of every four. They always promise to send a recovery truck and it never shows up. I almost have to call them every single day to ask if they can correct the situation. Several times Ive been screamed at on the phone by the customer service agent. When I call, they say they have no record that theyve ever missed our trash before or that Ive ever called before though every single month I am calling two or three or more times. Last week they missed his trash AGAIN and I called every single day up to Friday for the recovery truck to come as promised, and then the lady screamed at me on the phone that I needed to call sooner than Friday if my trash was missed on Monday. I had called every single day! Also when we get billed, its often double or triple our monthly rate and when you call to ask about it, they say its because theyve gotten backed up on billing so there might be several months charged in a single month. Its outrageous and so incompetent! Whatever you do, do not sign up with this absolutely awful company. We are paying for four weeks service and have only gotten two weeks service for months and months. You better believe I will be canceling our service with them and using another company in **************. I just dont understand how companies get away with this kind of incompetence and poor service and horrible customer relations. Buyers beware!

      I am rejecting this response because they tell me every time that they will look in to the problem and correct it and there is no follow through or correction to poor and missed service every week. I called customer service again today about cancelling my service with them and was again rudely yelled at by the woman on the phone. I will be satisfied when my last payment is refunded as I missed over half of my service during that time.

      The complaint was escalated and thoroughly investigated. It is our policy that the account holder must personally request the cancellation of their account, and no such request was found on record. After a detailed review of the calls and interactions, there was no evidence that the representative was rude during the call.       I am rejecting this response because:
      Once again this business takes no responsibility for their actions and denies ever receiving phone calls that were received repeatedly. We called and asked to have the service canceled and were told that our rental company would need to do that but this person who spoke to us was very sarcastic and rude as usual. To say there was no evidence that we called and no evidence that someone was rude again is more of their continual nonsense They continually deny receiving phone calls from customers for missed trash pick up and for complaints and for service questions. Their standard answer is that they never received a call or theres no record of the calls or that they were wonderful. All of which is complete and utter nonsense. Why do you think everyone on our entire streethas dropped them in favor of other companies? I am tired of the runaround and I want my money back for missed service for over half of the last three months. And I dont want another standard answer that they were wonderful and have no record of any problem with my service. They are a complete scam. And everyone that I have talked to about this company has had the same terrible experience. Its time to that they step up and provide customer service since their pricing is almost double everyone elses in the area. Notice how they never even apologize for customer problems Its always the runaround about they werent aware or they werent called or they were polite all of which is completely untrue.

      Requested Termination from GFL and Bin pick up on 23 Jun 2025. Contacted GFL for termination of service and bin pickup. *** sent notice of Past Due - Payment must be made to avoid suspension. My original account #********* was set up on auto pay. *** without notification changed or altered the account between the dates of 11/29/2024 and 03/14/2025. *** created a new account number #*********. After calling *** about over due notice, I requested termination of service and bin pick up immediately. My account would not have been overdue if GFL wouldn't have changed my account. I contacted *** again on 06/25/2025. Requesting again termination and bin pickup. I have cancelled my auto pay and delinked my account. Bin is still in my front yard after a week of *** not picking it up.

      On May 16, 2025 We, *********************, chose to cancel our services with GFL due the fact that they had failed to pick up our trash 3 out of the previous 4 weeks. We tried communicating our frustrations to them with no response. We were told on the same date that we cancelled that they 2 trash containers would be picked up on our next pickup day. It has now been over 6 weeks and the containers are still sitting at the road waiting to be picked up. We have sent multiple messages to them with no response. We just want the trash containers gone!

      Ive been receiving an invoice for 6 months without any communication response from GFL. They came out to pickup my trash in many months ago and the can was blocked by a truck. I told them the truck was clear and was ready to be picked up and since then its been just pulling up. Ive emailed them and asked for someone to call me and I havent received a response. Im

      When *** took over for *** in Feb. 2022 my bill went up. They refused to fix it. I tried to cancel and they said I was under contract. Forward to Dec. 2024 I called and said I simply could not pay the amount, could I pause or go to once a month. Finally I was able to speak to ******** ******. So they stopped my garbage until I could catch up with the bills. I called ask asked if they were still going to charge me during those months and was told no. So on Feb. 25th I paid down to a zero balance, and put it on autopayment and my service was restarted by ***** *****. Fast forward to May 5th and *** tried to auto debit two transactions, one almost $700 and the other $14. The one close to $700 didn't go through. I called and ***** ******* contacted me and told me the autopay had been not working for a few months and as soon as I got down to a zero balance I could start it up again. So apparently they backdated over $300 the end of Februry for the months I didn't have service. I was able to work several times to pay ****** ****** to pay current bills so that my debit card would not be in system. I also told her I didn't understand the extra $300 so she sent ******** ****** an email that I wanted them removed. ******** ****** called and insisted he could not remove them as I was under contract. I told him I never signed a contract with *** and he INSISTED that the *** contract was still in effect. I asked to speak to a manager but he would not let me and said he would send me the contract. Never got contract so the next time I paid ****** I told her and asked again for a manager. ******** *. called me a few days later and said the he could offer me half of the $300 and a new 36 month contract for less money. I said I wanted him to email me the contract that he had been INSISTING is still enforceable. When I got the contract it confirmed the $31.87 permanent change, but GFL is charging me $88.13, double admin fee, environmental of the higher amount.
