    The most incompetent company I have dealt with, perhaps ever. They lose employees on a weekly basis and are totally unable to manage their workload. Not only are they really bad at HOA management, they simply do not care at all and ************ their fees in the hopes that HOA boards will not take the time to replace them. I wouldn't hire this company under any circumstances.

These claims regarding employee loss and unmanageable workload are unfounded and false. Please direct any future comments or concerns to your current management company.

    Cedar Management Group made a mistake on my *** assessment account and without so much as one word via phone, email or otherwise, contacted the Glens of Riverside *** and then the ****************** and immediately began a collections action which then led to a lien on my property which then led to them moving forward with foreclosure proceedings, all without one word of contact. I own 2 properties in Glens at Riverside neighborhood and it appears that they made an accounting error that they did not correct, which led to these actions. I pay the *** monthly dues early, never late and not even on time. They are usually paid early. I am outraged and very frustrated as I just found out yesterday that they were attempting to foreclose on our property without our knowledge.

    ******,Please be advised that a 15 Day Demand Letter was mailed to all known addresses, including your property address on July ****** notifying you that your account was in arrears. Since the amount was not paid in full within the allotted timeline your account was turned over to ****************** as per your Associations collection policy.****************** has contacted us stating that you requested to have funds transferred from your other property in the same community over to your account that was with collections. This request was approved and the late/collection fees have also been waived as a courtesy.Please make sure with future payments that they are either separate checks with the propertys account number or that you remit these payments online for each corresponding property.

    Cedar Management Group has terrible customer service. They lied to us, mismanaged our finances, refused to find contractors to do our repairs, would not give out phone numbers for the persons in charge of our property, extra - extra slow responding to our emails, never visited our property so they had no idea what we looked like, billing department had no idea what was going on, accounting department almost caused one new owner in receiving his loan because they did not respond in time before closing, delayed sending our records to the local management company that we finally changed to - the list goes on and on.

    ****,Converse Place had access to ************** for the Association produced by Cedar Management Group on their portal. Per the contract, the Board has ******************************* adjustments to the monthly financials sent out before the 25th of every month or else financials are posted as is. Cedar sent multiple service requests to multiple vendors, and most of them refused to work with the Association after meeting with you directly due to your unreasonable expectations/demands.The contract also stipulates a single point of contact with Cedar so that the Community Manager can take direction from a singular Board Member after said Member discusses any issues or concerns with the rest of the Board and a decision has been made.Per our records all emails were responded to within our 48 hour turnaround time. All closing requests are delivered within a guaranteed time frame after payment is remitted, the details of which are listed in the terms and conditions agreed upon at the time the documents are ordered.Your Association has transitioned out of our care as of 12/15/23. Please communicate any further issues or concerns directly with your new management company.

    Priorities are way off base. They do things not needed and dont do things needed. Waste money on bad decisions. Slow to respond as far as action being taken. Everything is always under review. Cant get a straight answer. Only respond to threats. Even the lady that works for them driving around a neighborhood for hours looking for violations laughed at me when I asked her about getting in touch with someone for repairs. Big waste.

    ****,Please be advised that Cedar Management Group is a vendor that works for your ********** Carmel ******* II, and has no decision making authority in regard to maintenance or financial requests.The typical turnaround time given in our autoresponders for service request approval/denial is two weeks. This allows time for the Community Manager to contact the ***** of ********** volunteer homeowners in your community, who are the authority on any and all service requests.The financial statements, tracking all HOA revenue and expenses, are also made available to all owners on your portal at portal.mycmg.com.Your Community is contracted for inspections 6 times a year, and the only inspector Cedar has had on site for your Community over the past year has been a male inspector. You are claiming that you spoke with a lady (female) inspector which simply cannot be the case due to the reason stated above.

    Help me understand why my buyer backed out of buying my unit because they said Cedar Management was bankrupt?! I asked the president of the *** if this was true and I have yet to get a response. Who is responsible for me losing money after the buyer backed out at the last minute and me losing the house I was approved to buy but now I cannot because of the *** going bankrupt and not disclosing this very important information?!

    *****,Cedar Management Group is a vendor that works for your Community, Windsor Grove, and is a separate financial entity altogether. Below, you will find documentation from the Board President to your email confirming on 11/17/23 that your Community, Windsor Grove, is not currently/pending bankruptcy. Your email on 11/16/23 was answered the very next day which exceeds the expectations of a typical ***** hour turnaround time.The Board shared at the last annual meeting (April, 2023) that the *** was experiencing some financial hardships, which they have been transparent about regularly with the Community. All financial documents and meeting minutes were/are available on the homeowner portal which is accessible to all homeowners.Cedar Management Group has no direct affiliation with loans and/or lenders for Windsor Grove as we are a vendor that works for your Community.Response from *** PresGood Morning ***** I have been on this Board since April of 2023.Did you attend the annual meeting?I also held an open Board meeting in October and the minutes to that and all the meetings we have held can be found on portal.mycmg. I have attached the October meeting minutes for your reference. You can also find monthly financials there. Windsor Grove has not filed bankruptcy but took on a very, very difficult financial situation at that time.Very slowly and with the Communitie's help and support on monthly Community Day we are improving our financial situation.It will continue to take the homeowners and residents dedication to supporting Windsor Grove for us to keep going in the right direction.I hope we can count on your support!Thank you ************************* President *************

    Horrible customer service and communication...I've tried to reach out to them for months regarding fees in bill I DON'T think I should have to pay....the website half works and I think I'm illegally being charged over the state *** for late fees...I have emailed and mailed them with no response...my next step is to hire an attorney because this is BEYOND ridiculous!!!

    ******,According to our records you have contacted our office multiple times over the past few months and every email/chat was responded to either immediately or within ***** hours. Cedar Management Group is a vendor that works for the ***** of ********* in your Community and therefore does not have any decision making authority to waive or remove late fees.Your original request was forwarded over to the ***** for consideration, along with the multiple follow **** A partial late fee credit was given to all applicable owners so that all past and future late fees are $15.00 per month, which is within the ** state *** of $20.00. You were sent a statement indicating this credit. The board has declined to waive the late fees assessed as a result of non payment. Therefore, you will need to remit payment prior to 10/31/23 to avoid additional late fees.

    HORRIBLE!!! There is no communication!!!! They add dues to your account, but don't actually send any communication letting you know that dues have been billed, but they expect you to pay. I'm sorry, but I am not psychic. I don't understand why our community uses them or how they are even in business!! If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. Anyone considering CMG to be their HOA management company should run, not walk in the other direction.

Your account status is currently being reviewed by the ***** of ********* and the HOAs attorney. Any further updates regarding your account will be sent to you directly as the ***** is looking further into this matter.

    I have had a similar experience with CMG. In short, they are horrible! Their primary concern is collecting dues for services they do not provide, are disrespectful to owners, and predatory when it comes to attempts at defaulting on properties for non payment. It is really hovering on criminal at this point. They operate with no accountability whatsoever. Anyone considering buying a property they manage should seriously reconsider.

Prior to that date our records indicate that you called our offices four times in the month of July and every phone call was recorded and a follow up sent to the appropriate party to handle your concerns.Cedar Management Group was a vendor that worked for the ***** of ********* within your Community and does not have decision making authority when it comes to collections procedures as these are outlined in your governing documents, which are legally binding. Any assessments are made payable to the *** and how they are distributed is available to all homeowners via financial documents. For any future concerns please contact your new management company as Cedar no longer manages ******** ***********************

    It's pretty sad to see that CMG has an average of a 1-star rating, but it's not surprising. Add me to the list of unsatisfied and unhappy customers. I have been trying for over 1 month to get our community manager ********************************* to respond to our issues, which includes our HOA BOD failing to hold our annual meetings, among other things. They are failing to fulfill their fiduciary responsibilities. I have called, sent emails, and used the General Support Chat and at this point, I'm just getting lip service. NO ONE - the Community Manager, Area Manager (***********************************), and Director (***************************) - has returned any of my messages, even though every community support person I've talked to assured me that they were sending URGENT messages to have someone contact me as soon as possible.Many neighbors are not happy, so we are preparing to file a petition to hold a Special Meeting, at which time we will hold a special election to remove our HOA ***** of ********** who has been in office for over a DECADE. Once those members are replaced and the new board is installed, the next order of business will be to immediately find another property management company. Cedar Management has proven that they DO NOT care and that they are incompetent.

All communication regarding these meetings are sent out to the Community in accordance with the HOAs CC&Rs.You have called and sent multiple emails to our staff, all of which were responded to within 48 hours of receipt, per our standard company policy. Due to the escalation in your calls and emails regarding concerns that have already been answered and resolved, you were referred to the HOAs Attorney.Moving forward, any further communication from you should be directed to the HOAs attorney, as previously instructed, as there is nothing more that we can do for you at this time.

    This is the worst and most disorganized corporation I have ever worked with. Buyer beware. They can not provide financials on time. They can not pay the bills expected on time. They will however take your money and you will have to fight to get it back. I plan on getting our attorney involved as CMG will not honor commitments not agreements.

All financial matters and concerns that were sent to our office were handled promptly and marked as resolved before the transition out date of 5/31/23.According to our records ************** have been sent within our contracted allotted time and invoices paid within our net30 timeline. Please contact your new management company for any outstanding financial concerns for your HOA.
