1 starOn September 9, 2024, at ************************ location. I was waiting for 20 minutes, finally the guys came over to talk to me. I told him what I wanted. Then he came back with my air filter he said that I should get a new one. I told him to spray that one out and that was fine. He said that they do not spray them out anymore. I asked why. He said that they changed the policy. I told him to forget and I was going to leave. He said that they have already drained my oil and that I had to pay. And after they put the oil in then I can leave. I told him if I am having to pay than I want everything done. He said that he thought that if I was not happy with their service that I would want to leave. I asked to speak with the manager. He said that he was the manager. At that point I decide to get out of my car to watch everything he was doing because I did not trust him. As he was pouring the oil in my car he must have spilled a quarter of a quart on the engine and outside of the car. He did not clean up the spill. I asked him to clean it up and he finally did. He put a little water in my window washer fluid and shut the hood. I told him to top off the rest of the stuff and he said it was good. I had him open the hood and check the other fluids. I was low on coolant. He said that was not that big of a deal. I asked him to fill it up and did. Then he checks my transmission fluid with the engine off and I asked him if the engine is supposed to be on when checking transmission fluid? He grunted and turned on the engine. Then lastly he checked the oil and showed me and I noticed it was short and he said that it was fine. He refuses to add any oil. I would not recommend anyone to go here. I will never go here ever again. I will be leaving a bad review on BBB.Take 5 Oil Change

1 starI showed up here on a Saturday morning to get an oil change there was a few other people in line but one of the employees come out and I say that we needed an oil change he asked what year the vehicle was and I replied 2023 he responded oh sorry we dont service 2023 vehicles anymore because of plastic drip pans and potential for them to crack.. I was so dumbfounded I didnt even know how to respond so i called a take 5 down the street and they said they of course service 2023s Not 100% sure why the employee would tell me that, but for whatever reasons he had to not service us, I cant believe he would lie and and try to gaslight me into actually believing that.Take 5 Oil Change

1 starIf I could leave a 0 I would. Seniors women disabled poor are victimized by Take 5. They took $98. from my debit card. I had my own oil and filter. They just put it in. I did not want any checks for anything under my hood. I stood and watched them. They only did my oil and filter change. We had agreed on the price and when I got to Ohio I saw the receipt was for $98. Now I am fighting to get a refund.vTake 5 Oil Change

1 starI went in for a 5 min oil change as advertised. 25 mins later I asked why haven't I been taken care of... Finally get the oil changed (I chose lowest price of the synthetic which was $81.99) I understand it's more if the vehicle is needing more than what is stated. My issue is, when I finally was able to pay I was quoted almost $140!!!! Without being told I needed more than what was stated with that price. Simple thing to inform a customer is all I'm saying. Definitely will never return to this place. 45 minute oil change when advertised 5min. Pathetic.Take 5 Oil Change

1 starWell take 5 took responsibility for killing my engine by not adding proper coolant but they are refusing to pay me for missed work when my car is literally my workplace and they took over a week to give me a rental car also when filing the claim the store manager pretended to file the claim and actually didnt I had to jump threw hoops to find a higher up what a mess now I may have to seek legal help to recover money lostTake 5 Oil Change

1 starI took my car to Take 5 on July 30, 2024, to get an oil change before a planned trip. The next day, I drove to Dallas and parked my car without any issues. The following morning, I moved the car to my Aunt's driveway for a short time before going out of town with my aunt in her car to visit my mother. A day later, my cousin informed me that all the oil had leaked from my car and was all over their driveway. When I told my dad that I had the oil change at Take 5, he explained that they had forced the drain plug back in, which resulted in stripping the oil pan.
I reached out to Take 5 in Humble, and they submitted a claim. My car was then towed to Meineke for assessment. Their diagnostic revealed that there was no oil in the vehicle and the oil pan was stripped, causing damage to the turbo engine. Fleet Response, the third-party claims handler for Take 5, denied my claim, stating that Take 5 doesn't use the oil drain plug to drain the oil; instead, they use the dipstick. The representative I spoke with, Mallory, was unprofessional and rude. Upon contacting Meineke, they suggested seeking legal advice because they confirmed that BMWs don't have dipsticks, and the oil drain plug must be used for draining the oil from my vehicle. When I called Take 5 again, they admitted that BMWs don't have dipsticks and that the oil drain plug should have been used.
At this point, Fleet Response is giving me the runaround, and I'm currently waiting to speak with a supervisor. Dealing with Fleet Response has been a terrible experience. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against taking your vehicle to Take 5 for an oil change, unless you want your engine damaged. Additionally, dealing with Fleet Response is equally frustrating. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by both Take 5 and Fleet Response.Review fromJennifer W

1 starMy name is *************************** and I've been getting my oil changed the last 3 years ate the same location off ************ in ************. Never had any issues. My recent visit was on Aug 9 2024. Apparently when they change the oil they are not taking the cover guard completely off. After my visit on my way I always back my truck in the drive way. On this day I heard a roaring sound as I was backing up. I look under the truck and noticed the cover guard was hanging down. Only the top 2 bolts were attached. There are only four bolts to keep the guard attached. Once I removed the splash guard I notice that the shield was bent on the front. Basically they took the back two bolts out and pulled the guard down to remove the oil filter and did not re attach them properly. So I went back to the store off ************ in ************ . I spoke with the manager name ***** he wouldn't give me his last name and voiced my concerns. I brought my old splash guard with me to show him how bent it was. Of course he denied everything I said. They were the last ones to remove the guard . Ive been trying to contact corporate but can't get answer or a voicemail. That part with shipping was $227.Take 5 Oil Change
