Their location on Jersey St in *********, IA did not replace my oil valve correctly and caused over $300 in damages. When I talked to the local shop they said they would start the refund process. They didn't. When I contacted the corporate office they wouldn't compensate me for the damage saying there wasn't a connection between the shops mistake and my repairs.

I wish Id read these reviews before using the service in ******, ***** #***. They didnt place the oil plug back in correctly and blew the engine in my suv. We have been calling for weeks to resolve the claim the opened and no one is replying. All number lead to customer service where youre placed on hold for hours and if you use the call back number it rings once then hangs up. This place is very disappointing. It made me place a star BTW or I wouldnt have given it one!

I took my car for an oil change at Take 5 *********, Tx when driving home 2 hours my engine burned and locked up 2 tows 5 rentals, and a month in I am still waiting for them to make a decision after dealership provided pictures and evidence of negligent. I am $1,000 in my own money trying to get Ubers to locations for work and to get the basic food. groceries and kids from School, I have to rent a car just to be able to take my kids to appt and practices. They are sitting on a decision and I am beyond stretched to my limits. Fleet response never has any answers and state they are waiting to hear from Take 5 Please help!

Please, for the love of God. Don't go to this place if you enjoy driving your car. I went there to get a simple oil change. Done. And two hours after i got my oil change, done. My engine had a mechanical failure, took it over to *****, and they said that my engine needs to be replaced to the fact that the engine oil was low and was not properly serviced. It took me forever to get to their claims department. And at the end of the day, they denied my claim, keep in mind that I never had an engine light on this car beforehand and they are still not taking responsibility. If I could give them no stars, I would

Absolute disgust. My daughter got her oil on Thursday and less than 10 miles of driving the engine blew. I checked the oil and not a drop in the vehicle, none on the engine, none under the car. We contacted Take 5 and they refused to be helpful. The next morning I was standing in the office and 2 other individuals were complaining about there vehicles and service. Do not use Take 5 employees are under the influence and have no idea what they are doing

BE WARE -- Take 5 is a scam! I was told my coolant was mostly water and recommended a flush. Had the flush done and was back in 3 days because my car overheated and shut down. I had to go back every 2 days to get my reservoir filled. At visit #6, after 13 days, they wanted to complete a reflush becaus they knew something was wrong. Within a hour and a half of my car being in the driveway after the reflush, I had antifreeze all over my driveway. Took it back the next day and found out from the new manager that the initial flush should never have been recommended. My car didn't need it only had 67k miles on it. Buicks don't need the first flush until 100k miles. I NEVER had any issues with my car period, until Take 5 touched it. Sales and manager (the new manager) both agreed that they did something wrong; the old manager was the technician and he was on his way out the door and just didn't care. That was after the call to the district manager. Old manager should have caught not doing the flush. I had to submit a claim with Take 5. My claim got denied because they said "they did the service I paid for". I did NOT pay for a service to be done wrong. Now, instead of ******* up to your mistake, I have to go through all this hassle and take my car to a dealership for diagnostics and repairs. Car rental, so I can go to work, diagnostics, and repairs.THIS is what it costs to go to Take 5. Pay the extra money and go to a dealership if you are not able to do the work yourself. Don't get scammed by Take 5's unethical practices.

I took my *** x5 to the location in ******* on ***** back in May. The technician stripped the s**** to my oil pan cause a major leak of oil. I filed a claim with Take5's fleet response and refused to cover the cost of the damages. My car is leaking oil to this day at alarming rates. it took them literally until yesterday to even complete the claim, not even enough to cover the damages. *** service team inspected my vehicle and gave the total cost for repairs and labor of $3200.00 but Take5 only agreed to pay $1776.00. How is this fair when the ** admitted that the technician was negligent because if the s**** was stripped before he began the oil change then he was not supposed to perform any services. I informed them if the oil pan s**** was stripped prior to the oil change then I would have been leaking oil before coming to them to perform the service. If you have a luxury vehicle, I advise you to NEVER go to take five, h*** even if you have ago-kart do not go to Take5, they do NOT care about their customers they only care about their bottom line. If I could not give any stars I would but since I have to give a star it is definitely 1 star.

I would **NOT** recommend Take5 Oil Change (at least this location #***). I went in for an oil change to Take5, & was up-sold a coolant flush. Because of how this drive up service is situated (very snug) you cannot see what is being done, not done, or products being used. I paid for the coolant flush & assumed it was done. I don't drive very much, but when driving to visit my daughter my engine was very hot and concerned me greatly. I had my car towed to the Chev dealership and was told by the tow truck driver, and the dealership that I needed coolant!! I've been trying to get a refund from Take5 for weeks (***** in customer service), & they have completely ghosted me, "after" telling me they (**** *****) would refund the cost. I prefer to work with reputable companies that honor their word. I suggest you go elsewhere.

My wife took our 2015 ****** Highlander to this location to get the oil changed. We have used this location for oil changes and for state inspection for many years. The Employee brought a sample of the antifreeze from the car to her and said that the antifreeze needed to be replaced because it had turned red. ****** uses red antifreeze, and there was nothing wrong with the antifreeze. They then showed her a sample of the green antifreeze. They replaced it with the Employee took advantage of her being a woman and not knowing the color that the antifreeze should be. I have went to the location and spoke with the manager, and he denied that they would ever tell someone there antifreeze was bad because of the color.I have called their customer service number seven times now and have been promised that I would be receiving a call from the regional and the district manager and as of three weeks after I started I still have not received a call. Be careful of their deceptive tray practices.
