1 starI have been a customer of Take 5 and Lube Stop prior to Take 5 for many years. Approximately 3 weeks ago, I took my Jeep into Take 5 in ****** and it took nearly *********************************************************************************************** the second bay. They seemed incompetent and one employee could not reinstall the air filter so I demanded that another more knowledgeable employee put the air filter back on. Today, noticing the air tire light on, I was prepared to stop with my other Jeep and when I pulled in there was only two cars, one in each bay ahead of me. I did not get inside of the bay until 30 mins later and I find out that there is only one employee working, Manager ******. I told him to please check my tires and since I waited that long I said please do an oil change. ****** could not find my account in the computer which is totally wrong since my hatband and I having been using this service forever. I will not even waste more time on his lack of ability to put in a serial number and license plate despite having the same car serviced there for eight year period at least. When I said I have been here almost one hour at that point, he got that whiny passive aggressive tone and told me why am I being so mean to him and taking that attitude with him when he is all alone. I almost drove away which I should of since he still had not started to service the vehicle. I bit my tongue and when it was done, no fluids were checked nor the air filter and I hope that he did the oil change right. As he said I could leave I said no because I told him that at the beginning I wanted the tires checked due to the light being on. He loudly signed and pulled the air hose out and did only 3 and said he cant do 4 which is still the problem tire because the light is still on. 1 starHorrible service and when I got new windshield wipers they instantly fell off paid 40$ or more for them and was never even to get a refund.Take 5 Oil Change

1 starThey changed my oil and after a few minutes I heard a lot of banging under my car. I asked the girl if everything was OK and she said it was. After another 10 minutes she came back and told me they didn't have the right fasteners to reattach the splash guard. When I inquired how they were going to fix it she told me that I could order new ones on ******. I came in to get my oil changed and now i have a broken car. She tried to tell me that it's not broken and I told her it's got a part missing so it's broken. I showed her how to reuse the old fasteners and after another 10 minutes she told me I was all set. As soon as I exited the property I stopped to check under my car and found that the screws were only half tightened and most of the fasteners were missing. 1 starBuyer Beware!!!! This is a very deceitful business. Went in for a state inspection in ******** *****, and was told that I needed to replace my left rear tire to pass. No big deal, I went and had it replaced, then returned to complete the inspection only to be told now I have to replace my right front tire, I wasn't happy that they inspected this way but went and replaced that tire. All good right? No as I returned, I was told that I had to take off from my job to accommodate the manager at a later time and he only works a specific time. I presently oversee a $43,000,000 million dollar site but I'm supposed to just take off to suit him, WTF!!! He told his assistant to tell me to leave and come back when convenient for him. He is a manager and trainer for Take 5 Oil Change at ***********************************************. I have been a senior manager for the last 40 years, I would fire this manager in an instant. He does not possess the skills to train young people let alone run a business. I would rate Take 5 Oil Change a zero (0) if they had that available on their rating system. How can you trust a business that performs this way? OMG..... JUST READ THESE OTHER HORROR STORIES ON HERE!! THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT HAVE A LICENSE TO CONDUCT ANY BUSINESS IN ANY STATE, PERIOD!!!Take 5 Oil Change

1 starI went to H***8***9*9*5*1*1*4*1H to have a oil H*1*9*1*0*8*6*1*7*9*2H as a repeat customer and seen there radiator fluid flush machine is working and added a flush on to my Oil H*1*9*1*0*8*6*1*7*9*2H service. The Technician fill my Radiator reservoir a 1/2 inch from the cap I asked to drain to cold mark * times the Technician replied he does this all the time drive for three days and bring back to adjust the level I only drove home under 6 miles and in the morning the gaskets around the water pump was blown after many phone call and told not to do any repairs i finally took my tuck to a diesel specialist and afterwards sent by email a diagnostics to there third party claims center I had the repairs completed ASAP because never provided a rental car I drove to the H***8***9*9*5*1*1*4*1HOil H*1*9*1*0*8*6*1*7*9*2H shop 8 days now latter and asked for a refund another so called claim form at day 10 never offered or supplied with a rental no update and the third-party claim adjuster says that due to the age of my truck they don't find themselves not negligible for damage and that my Truck is old end of story. I didn't see any signage that any damage done by H*2*2*2*5*4*7*9*7*8*5H to a older vehicle or truck they will not be liable out of pocked $147 for flush, $75 for Lyft $550 for repairs. I supplied the water pump because it was with in a 2 year warranty of replacement. This company is a public nuisance and evey should be taken to close this unprofessional company.Take 5 Oil Change

1 starOn 9/26/2024, I went to take 5 on Northfield and *****. It looked like I was the first car. There were three guys working. I pull into the bay and 1 guy tried to open my hood, he just shook it, the other guy tapped my hood as if it was jammed and he tried and just shook it too! The third guy who may have been the manager asked whats wrong they said her hood wont open, third guy didnt even try! They suggest that I go to rainbow across the street to have them open the hood and come back.I went to the take 5 in ***************** and my hood popped open no problem!The guys were kind of goofing off and seemed like they really didnt want to work. Im glad I didnt get my oil changed from there because they may have caused damage to my vehicle.Take 5 Oil Change

1 starOn 925/2024 I went to the take five in ***************** on Highway 278 for just an oil change that was going on 12 oclock noon. I believe I was there until almost 5 oclock because one of the guys broke a dipstick off inside of the dipstick holder and they end up doing, a tuneup changing the cylinders or call packs or something for a number one and number two in my engine light would not go off and the car was sputtering and a little shaking. I had no issues with my car when I drove in and when I end up leaving, I had to pull over on the side of the interstate because the car acceleration was slowing down and it was getting ready to be a storm so as of today 926 2024 is back at take five and I have no transportation. It was a total nightmare yesterday. Im not sure whats gonna happen with my car , I asked the guys there to give me a list or document for me what they were doing and what happened date. 1 told me name ****** that if they did that they would have to charge me. What are you charge me for one of the guys broke a dipstick off inside of my dipstick holder and they end up again doing a tuneup, changing the spark plugs, call pack, or something because theyre little machine kept saying cylinders was firing and like I said my engine light was on , I didnt come in there with all of that issue. Just need basic simple or change thats it only not to have my car as of today again 926 2024 and were supposed to be going out of town tomorrow 9:27 2024 so if I could have given zero stars, thats what it would have been zero also , the guys were appreciative that I didnt argue. 1 starWorst experience ever with an oil change. The technicians overfilled the oil on our Mercedes and caused it to break down on our trip. As we had to have the car towed into a local service station and wait 2 1/2 hours for a tech to get there and pull out the excess fluid. Cost us a half a day on our vacation, not to mention the extra expenses paying the other tech and for the tow. Engine overheated and oil expands again along the trip again becasue they used the wrong oil. Over ******* in repairs after the trip and this debacle. Take 5 Responds sorry we did not meet your expectations. Uhhhhh ya think?Take 5 Oil Change

1 starThey tried to scam me with lies. They told me that the conventional oil was only good for 2,500 miles and tried to get me to upgrade to a higher priced oil. I told them that all oil is good for up 3,000 miles and they're policy was wrong. The worker then told the other worker that I said their policy sucks. They refused to service my vehicle. I called their corporate customer service and the customer service representative confirmed that the conventional oil was good for 5,000 miles. I lodged a complaint with corporate, but wanted to file one with the BBB so others could be warned that the local business is going against corporate policy to upsale products.Review fromW. A.

1 staron 9/13/2024 5:11pm employee ***** charged me for a basic oil change. He drained the oil scanned my vehicle, gave me a milage sticker and told me i was good to go. Only driving 3 blocks my car stop running. He didn't add any fluids in my vehicle. Now i have to file a claim and wait 6-8 months to get a check on what the car is worth.Take 5 Oil Change
