      I brought my car in for an oil change and they did not have my oil available so I had to bring my own. After getting there, we realized it was the wrong oil. I said I would go get the correct one until the employee said it does not matter, this one would work the same way. Because I assumed he knew what he was doing, I said okay. Immediately after pulling out, my car had an engine light come on and my car started running poorly. I called my car manufacturer to discuss the oil issue and they said that is not correct, and the oil they told me was okay to put in definitely was not. Therefore, I immediately got the correct oil and went back to the shop to explain them the experience I had and speak to the manager, ******. He has no management or customer service skills whatsoever and is like talking to a wall. He couldnt even fully comprehend the situation and just kept repeating that if we do a service we have to charge. Even though his employee messed up and admitted to him while I was there the second time, he didnt care and still charged me to change it again 2 days later. In what world would that make sense. Anyone with any sense should at least realize you shouldnt charge a customer for a service that was done incorrectly the first time. I am disgusted with my experience. Now, I have taken my car to the dealership to get fixed and they cant figure out whats wrong with it since the original oil change. I literally will have to pay for a big repair because of this terrible experience. They estimated $600 in labor just to try and figure out what this did to the engine. I cannot believe this has happened and dont know what to do.

      feb 8th 2023 i took my car in for an oil change no issues left and my check engine light came on took it back they messed up and fixed the filter and cleared the code next morning it came back on and has been at the dealer ship for 2 weeks and still costing me more money.and nothing has been wrong with this truck since i bought it.

      Ok I went to take my truck in for an oil changed and take 5 caused my motor to lock up because the didnt s**** one of my oil cap on all the way which caused leaking and didnt put a s**** in all the way and I need my car fixed it replaced. *** tried reaching out to the company and to corporate and havent really heard any thing about my claim. I keep gettin the same run around the someone will reach out to me but its been over a month now and havent gotten a call back from anyone. Now Ive lost jobs because I cant get back and forth to work due to what they did to my truck. Ive only had my truck for six months now I cant drive it something had to be done about it customer service is no help at all. Every time I call I cant get through anyone or the voice mail is full so I cant just leave a message something has to be done about my truck I didnt buy it juss for it to sit in front of my house. So what can be done about this situation?

      On February 13th around **** hrs I took my newly purchased (purchased in January) vehicle to get its first oil change at Take5 store 389 address: **********************************************************. While doing the oil change the technician tightened the plug so tight that it cracked the oil pan on my 2019 *** X3. They then told me it was not safe to drive my vehicle and to park it in the parking lot directly in-front of the Take5 location. The voided the transaction and I called a tow truck. I waited 3 hrs for the tow truck to come and take my vehicle to where I purchased it. The representative at the dealership said this repair will not be covered under warranty because it was cracked from tightening the plug too tight. I have left a message 5 times for the store manager of store 389, I have also called the corporate number 2 times and have not received a response from anyone. I have the original receipt as well as the voided receipt that I received after they realized that my oil pan was cracked, I have pictures as well. I have tried all the Avenues I could my next step is to start the paperwork for a lawsuits towards Take5.

      Take 5 damaged my oil pan on my 2007 Acura tsx in July 2022 and now that I am trying to get them to make it right they feel like they dont need to.

      I got an oil change on 12/20/22 at the Take 5 on ************. in ************. After I left, I noticed my van was running rough, then a few days went by and it only got worse. So, I brought it to a local garage, and they put a computer scanner on it and it came up with 2 codes (1 misfires,2 some sort of vacuum leak). So I let them give it a tune up which cost $504.69. But they didnt have a smoke machine to check for leaks, so I had to go to another garage and the test came back as passed so that was an additional $220.41.I was told that the air filter from Take 5 was installed by a trainee and put in backwards causing the misfires. So I spent 1 days going to garages, $725.01 for unnecessary work, $600.00 in lost wages and $60.00 for Uber expenses. Plus $150.00 for the oil change and filter.Total amount of my cost = $1,535.01 I never got a call/text or email from anyone at Take 5. So I went back on Feb 7th to speak to the manager and found out he was fired. There was a young lady now taking over. I told her my problem along with a new problem (my oil symbol goes on and off periodically.) She promised me that I would get a call from the district manager by the days end, that didnt happen! I went back on Feb 9th, only to find a new person who was the acting manager, I told him my problem, and told him if I didnt get a call by weeks end I was going to put in a complaint to **** of ******** Protection and the BBB. I got a call from the regional manager 10 minutes later, and he just said you wanted me to call you? I told him I need to know whats going on with my claim. He said he knows the claim was sent in and we just have to wait for corporate headquarters to reply. I asked to have someone from headquarters call me and let me know something, he said that wont happen! I really dont know whether the claim was ever placed or not. Its just one story after another. I still dont know why my oil light comes on, Ill probably wind up with a ceased engine next.

      I went into Take 5 Oil change on 02/09/2022 for a top off service. In between your oil changes they offer this, after finishing my service I pulled off. Days later my car just stalled at a light and I had to have a police ****** me to help push my car to a safe location. Upon getting the car situated we notice oil was leaking out fast. My oil drain plug wasnt securely out back in causing my car engine to seize up.       hello my name is ***************************** my phone number is ************ take 5 oil change. at ********************************************************************** I have been trying to contact you all for days I let messages and my phone number.in June or July, I had my oil change it was now time for me to get my changed again so I took my car to have my oil change. when they were trying to change my oil, they noticed they couldn't because they had stripped my oil s**** so, they could not take it off so the manager ************************* told me to take my car to ************* 5 star automotive. so, I call them so they can fix my car. every time I call them to make appointment. they were either busy or told me to call back one time they told me they were going on vacation call back next week. finally, they made me an appointment. on 01/14/2023 to fix my car so **** started fixing on my car and he took it apart he said he call around looking for an oil pan but no one had one he said they do not know when they are getting some in he said the oil pan will cost ****** dollars but no one have right now he said so at this time he have already took it apart and he said he call the manager ************************* and told his what was going on with my car he said ***************************** said he was not going to pay for that. this is the only car we have go to work in now so he said he can do a quick fix for me to get my car back on the road it will cost me. $322.37 for him to fix it so i had to get my car back so I pay it. at that time, I had a rent car that cost me $330.00 they broke my oil pan, so they are responsible for getting my car fix I am look forward hearing from you. you can call ******** and son 5 star automotive. his number is ************ he can explain the problem better than I can.the invoice number is #****** for my car.PS thank you

      October 2022-Went in for an oil change for my 2017 cheverlot Silverado. Paid 120. A week later truck stop working. Brought it to several mechanics and was told wrong oil was placed in truck. Went to take 5 so they can fix my truck. They claim they had to do an investigation. Its been three months and no one has called me. I went down to see what was going on and was told to contact corporate. Corporate has no contact number.
