    I've been waiting on a refund since December 2022 and have gotten anything but the run around. Still have not received a full refund after he has told me numerous times it is coming. He has stopped answering my calls and texts. I would not recommend using this business.

    My husband ordered a carb ad a returning customer April 2021 and PAID IN FULL by February 2022 he had yet to receive it. He reached out several times most of the time he receive absolutely no response. When he would get a response it was always an excuse. In October We even offered to pick it up when we were in Charlotte in November but he never even acknowledged that message. My husband continued to reach out in November and December with no response until December 15th and was told it would be done ASAP. Reached out again on January 12 with no response. On January 18th my husband contacted him yet again he finally got a response that he would call him later that day and asked for a phone number. Phone number was given and no call was ever received from Baldwin. On January 31st another messaged was sent but no response. February 9th 14th and 16th messages were sent with no response to those. I finally called him and asked him about a carb being built was told 4 weeks turn around. At this time I then asked if that was the case why we have been waiting over 10 months for a carb that was ordered and paid in full. He proceeded to say it was shipped and gave me a tracking number to someone else's carb. Called him out on that and my husband told him he just wanted a refund. He agreed but then said he wanted to make it right and refund us as well as still send a carb. Refund was never received and got the run around several times about that. We have all the messages on Facebook and text to prove that this man runs a dirty business. Very dishonest

    We had stayed in contact with the customer Mr ******** through the entire process and had spoken many times on a personal level. Keep in mind all of this had taken place in the middle of a pandemic and that parts were slim to none. Being a repeat customer Mr ******** and ourselves had became somewhat close on a personal level. Also keep in mind that Mr ******** had changed fuel types in the middle of this waiting period making it to where we had to re-order the correct parts to accommodate for the change of fuels. Yes, he was not able to get a hold of us every time he reached out because we were out of the shop at times due to family health issues with my father and having to look after him getting him back and forth to his appointments and surgeries. Mr ******** totally understood because he was going through the same with his father. We knew his deadline and was on track on our end to meet his first race. Fast forwarding to the current issue, everything was under control and taken care of until Mr ********s wife got involved. She called, she was politely told of everything that had taken place, that it was done, and it seemed that she was determined to do her best to start a problem. I had even tried to call Mr ******** on his number, she answered, and when I asked to speak to Mr ******** I heard him in the background telling her to tell me that he was asleep. Fast forwarding Mr ******** received his product, messages us informing us that he had received it, asking what fuel pressure to run, but evidently never ran it because just a couple days later it was up for sale on Facebook Marketplace listed as new never ran. She even at one point accused us of double charging his card which never took place and we even showed her that this accusation was false. We hate it if any of our customers ever feel that they didn't get what they paid for or if they feel that they have been taken advantage of, but the past two years have been trying times for everyone in this country and while most customers are understanding and work with us, there will always be some that just refuse to get along.

    This man lives in a dreamers world and tells lie after lie. You sir avoided ******* more than trying to talk to him and you were not on a personal level with him! ******* asked about changing fuel types but was told it was ok because you hadn't started his carb yet. ******* NEVER sent any message about fuel pressure. Again we have all messages to prove everything. And yes the carb was NEVER RAN and was posted for sale as we had no interest in keeping a product from someone as crooked as William B******. But there is no where that says we actually sold it. Everything was not under control before I got involved as 10 months in and the carb was not done and ******* was given the run around. Nor was it shipped as stated and we were given a false tracking number. All of the calls and messages from ******* were being ignored. As for me answering the phone, funny thing is after working over 12 hours that day my husband was actually sleeping. Funny part of it all when I started calling him out on his business page he quickly blocked me so his customers didn't see the truth. It's amazing though that he had time to check FB marketplace but couldn't respond to the several messages that were sent. Seems like his priorities are not in order. When he "tried" to make it right he stressed how it was more important to make things right with a repeat customer than the money...another lie. The credit card company told us that he did double charge us. And he attempted to refund us 2 times but retracted the refund both times. The other complaints show his true way of doing business and all his excuses.
