    There have been three previous telephone calls placed to this organization to remove my name from their mailing list as I am not interested in any of their products. Today 8/10/22, I received a fourth letter from them. What would make a company keep contacting you when you have informed them of your intent? This says to me that there is something unethical about this organization that people need to be aware of.

    No, I would not recommend CarShield to anyone. It's terrible coverage and customer ********************** when no one can give an answer any time I call. The repair shop tells me they are waiting on CarShield. Then CarShield tells me they are waiting on the repair shop. Someone is lying and I'm pretty sure its not the dealership. I wonder how long things would actually have taken, if I hadn't called and thrown a fit about it. And companies that give nothing but excuses and force the customer to have to do the work and pay out of pocket for simple things that SHOULD be covered, is unacceptable.The car rental coverage offered is horrible and it's the most confusing aspect of the policy. Must have 4 hrs of labor - not repair time, not waiting time, not in total, but ONLY labor time it takes to fix the vehicle, to even get any coverage at all and then what? You cover 1 day, per 4 hrs labor and then have to have 8 hrs of labor for additional days? On one hand, it says rental car coverage is $40/day up to 6 days for a total of $280. And it even goes on to explain, that includes time waiting, time to get parts, etc. But then goes right back to the labor requirements. So which is it? The way it is explained is the most purposefully confusing load of ****  And then as if having to pay out of pocket for car rental isn't enough, your "inspectors" take their sweet time getting to inspect the vehicle needing repair. So an ENTIRE WEEK goes by, before an inspector even goes to look at the vehicle, and then takes their time getting approval sent in, but it should be the very next day the vehicle is turned in for repair (if not day of) the inspector should be on the case. Its just ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad, if you actually covered the car rental...but twice now, I've had to fork over hundreds of dollars because of this entire **** show. And you don't even cover all the parts needed for the repair. Lots of money out of pocket and confusing policies are terrible business.

    CarShield is horrible. I paid them for over a year for my Infinity qx56. My engine went bad. So I had the shop contact carshield and so did I. They sent their technician come out and they said nothing was wrong with it. I took it to 3 other shops and the dealership and they all said my engine was bad. Carshield sent another technician out and they said that my engine was bad but that whatever made it go bad they didn't cover. Had to pay $10000 out of my own pocket. ***... Never get carshield!!!

    I had got warranty on my car in February of 2022.April my car ran hot I was coming from work .when I noticed the car running hot I pulled over.I had my car towed to my house it was still starting that night but that morning I tried to start it it started but white smoke was coming out of exhaust pipe so I notified car shield got the tow truck from the shop I wanted my car fix at to pick up my car car shield wanted them to break the car down to see what was wrong they stated #4 spark plug was need and my cooling fan was not working cause my car to blow my head gasket so now I need a motor car shield email them told them the I was denied they was not fixing my car because a part that was not covered on my car messed up a part that was covered under warranty now I oh this shop ***** to get my car out the shop I want my money back from car shield they never told me if a good part mess up a part that's covered my car couldn't be fix

    I paid for the service on my 2016 Ram truck. I took my truck in for a new radiator, and was asked to send in all service related items for the truck for the last year. I sent this in and the adjuster told me in an email that he would review and get back to me with in 24 hours. I waited 2 days and nothing, I tried to contact him and nothing. I had a rental car as this was 6 hours from my home where my truck broke down. I went to the mechanic shop to get my truck, and Car shield did not pay or request any info from them. I had to pay the mechanic almost $1500 to get my car out and then another $900 for the car rental. Car shield is denying the claim and refusing to pay for the reimbursements. I spent 2 hours on the phone with them today trying to get them to pay for this, and the only thing they could say was that they are not going to pay either. I then called to cancel the policy and they are unwilling to Pro-rate the 26 days in the month and the person who I was trying to cannel the policy is trying to upsell me on the benefits of how great the program is and haw many people they have helped. IT IS ALL A SCAM, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY.

    Can I give them -10 stars? They use a dodge. They say they fix your car BUT they leave that up to their sister company ********************. Go to them with a problem and Car Shield point to ******** **** and says "they make the decisions NOT US. Go talk to them. Take your complaints to them." And don't get me started on ***! DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY.

    Car Shield, had a very bad experience. Although their
    advertising says you can take your care to any qualified auto repair
    shop. I called all the local shops in my area and none of them are
    willing to participate with Car Shield. They all say the same thing
    that Car Shield is very hard to deal with, takes hours on the phone to
    get a claim processed and after all pictures and documents are sent to
    Car Shield they will not honor the claim. Customer service is also not
    very helpful, when I called, they would have me tow the car 50 miles
    away for an authorized shop that might or might not process the claim.

    I had coverage for two months and my transmission started stalling. I called in to make a claim and was told to take my vehicle to a mechanical shop to get it looked at which I did. Next get a call from mechanical shop saying that they wanted me to take it to a transmission shop in which they ended up towing there and I had to pay the rest of balance even though I used the roadside assistance. When the transmission shop called me and told me that they sent carshield the information for the cause with my transmission they said someone would contact them or me in 48hrs and it took a week and half before anyone got back in contact with the transmission shop. It took 2 months before they approved my claim after I had to keep sending in service records and even my state inspection receipt. Then three weeks after I get my vehicle back my transmission starts to do the same thing it was doing when I called in to make the claim. I stopped payment because they were taking to long to approve my claim and kept giving me the run around plus the adjuster told the mechanical shop that they wasn't gonna approve my claim no matter what I did so I stopped payment. So when I called them to see what I had to do since my transmission wasn't fixed they tell me that since I stopped payment in June that it's nothing they can do. How is that if its suppose to be a brand new transmission that they order and three weeks after so called being fixed my transmission is doing that same thing again. So I was to keep paying for coverage when the adjuster is telling the mechanical shop they not gonna approve my claim and it takes them two months to approve my claim to so call fix my transmission? They are scamming people out of money

    False advertisement ****** service and they did not want to refund $109.00 for the last payment ,plus I'm on retirement and disability on a fixed income no mechanics or dealers would accept carshield due to bad reimbursement policies it is a pyramid scam!! Sincerely ****** * *******

    If I could leave no stars then I would. Car shield is the
    worse company to deal with. They delayed the repairs on my car leaving
    it untouched for a week. After numerous phone calls and hundreds of
    minutes on hold from my car repair shop I ( the customer ) had to take
    matters in my own hands. The car repair shop is a reputable
    establishment who has dealt with car shield in the past. There should
    not be a lack of communication between car shield and the car repair
    shop leaving the customer to take matters on themselves. Customer
    service is not helpful and never take accountability for a
    miscommunication event. On a $3000 repair on my car - I’m still coming
    out of pocket $1000. They refuse to provide an itemized statement on
    parts covered and not covered. Stating that I need to read my contract.
    How hard is their job anyway? They sit at a computer all day. Seriously ?
    I’m out saving lives on a daily basis to have to deal with incompetent
    pencil pushers at the end of my shift is just unacceptable and undue
    added stress. In three words ( car shield *****)!
