1 starHorrible company, I had the highest coverage from them and they said that they do not provide service for brakes and rotors and say they were a routine service. that is not true because brakes are repaired based on the wear of the pads and the rotors, which could be up to 1 to 2 years after the purchase of the vehicle. THIS IS NOT AN ANNUAL REPAIR. Annual is every 3, 6, 12 months. they are total liars and a fraud.

1 starI needed my car repaired I have car shield. Three dealerships wouldnt accept car shield because they are extremely slow making a decision. I have been waiting 72 hours on a decision and I think this is ridiculous. Something needs to be done.CarShield

I have been without a car for 4 months carshield has turned me down twice they did not cover the contract for the engine as my contact stated. I had to buy another car just to get around. 1 starHorrible company that sold me a vehicle service contract on nothing but lies and bad faith. Do not waste your hard earned money. I have been a customer of ******************** since October 10, 2022. My truck broke down early August 2023 and I was finally able to find a repair shop to accept car shield September 11 of 2023. Well, the repair shop finally give me a call saying I had to approve the tear down of the engine to the point of failure because I needed a new engine and they had to inspect the old one before carshield/******************** would approve the new engine, with that being said, it took roughly 2 weeks I guess for an inspector from which I understand, ******************** actually employs, to go to the repair shop and inspect the engine to the point of failure to decide whether or not its going to be approved repair or not. With that being said, the one exclusion in my vehicle service contract, had the word rust.. With that being said, when you tear an engine down to the point of failure and expose the internal parts of the engine to the outside elements, yes, of course its going to rust!! But with all this being said, there was no rust on the cylinder walls of my engine when it broke down because it runs in oil.. but with that being said they denied my claim because of rust! 1 starI paid car shield for two years and tried to file a claim and they refused to pay. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone. I have lost a lot of money because of car shield. Please stay away from themCarShield

1 starWe purchased our Car Shield Contract in 2023. Had to use it on 01/05/24. We were told our shifter assembly was not covered by them. Neither was the diagnostics to figure out what was wrong with the 2018 ************. The total comes to over $1000.00. We called and canceled our coverage that day. We were told unlubricated parts of the transmission are not covered and neither was the diagnostics. Don't touch this company. They are just getting rich off of you.CarShield
