1 starTerrible company! Pay into policy just to be denied. Policy states they cover engines however I out a claim in for my engine and it was denied because they said I drove the car with an oil pressure light on. The oil pressure light came on 12/11. Nothing in my car stated the car couldnt be driven. Drive it to the shop and paid for an oil filter and oil change to fix the oil pressure as recommended by my mechanic out of pocket. The next day Im driving the car and the drivetrain malfunction indicator comes on. I stop and immediately call their roadside assistance. Had the car towed back to shop. Next day Im told the engine needs to be replaced. I submit the claim and it was denied. Disputed the denial as the new repair needed had nothing to do with the claim put in because the previous repair for the filter and oil change was paid for out my own pocket. Car shield is claiming the repair was related to the claim. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Scam!!! They will use any and every tactic to not pay out. I canceled my policy and they gave no push back because they knew their reason for denying my claim was BS. Waste of money and time.**********

1 starI purchased a CarShield warranty , The diamond plan . I believe thats what they call it. Keep in mind I followed my ********** maintenance plan. However , my suv has not needed any repairs. I was speaking to a person who had car shield and they stated they are terrible and dont pay . So I had my contract looked at it states they pay for components of the engine ,transmission, but it has to be broke down and then they will decide if they will pay,that was not what I was told by CarShield upon purchasing the warranty. So after a year of making timely payments I canceled the policy. I have paid approximately **** and never had a claim . They did state I would be getting a refund by check in the next twenty days . First of all they should put in back on my card since thats how they got their payments. I have had that card cancelled so they cant take anymore money . I do have prove of emails . Be sure to read and make sure you understand the policy lots of loopholes not to pay. You are better off getting a new car with a bumper to bumper warranty or an old car you can work on. They made appx 600 off me I never used them and more if I dont get the refund due to me .Imagine if a million customers and they never use and cancel after a year . I would never recommend CarShield or any other company that conducts their business this way . I pd appx **** and Im suppose to get a refund of appx 670 We will see .CarShield

1 starI have unsubscribed from their marketing adds numerous times. I have sent them written requests to remove my email address from their marketing adds mailing list. I have made it clear I do not want to receive any type of communication from them. They continue to disregard all my requests and fill my email box with unsolicited marketing ads. The most unprofessional business I have ever seen!CarShield

1 starHad the car shield for over a year now, and they never covered anything I've had to pay for all my repairs even the diagnostics they would not even cover, now I have a major part going on my car, and come to find out because of my car is over ******* miles I can't get the Platinum plan and the one I have only covers the engine and transmission, so I'm going to be out of pocket $2,200, and I don't know how they're getting all these five star reviews when they don't even do anything as far as repairs, I just say if your car is over $******* miles don't even think about carshield it's just a waste of money it's the only thing they're getting is that $80 a month for nothing because they're not going to do any repairs for your older car!!! Buyer beware stay away from carshield! It's an expensive and hard ****** learned!CarShield

1 starHORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!! Do not waste your money here!!! Ive had my contract for over a year, GOLD package. They steal your money and when its time to cover a problem they DO NOT cover anything!!!! Waiting for a call from a supervisor that will probably never come, calling Monday to END this shi*!!!! You ALL should be ashamed of yourselves for taking advantage of people that just want to protect themselves and their families!! I wish I could square up with all of you that work for this company!!!CarShield

1 starThis company is a scam. Test showed 7 things wrong from air bag motor to wireing harness on temperatures for heat exhaust system. Nothing was covered. Some places already been burnt by them and said they would work on it but I didnt get the vehicle back until they got their money, others just laughed and said no. Paid the ***** a mouth for 4 years and still had to pay ****. To fix my vehicle and they paid NOTHING. S ave your money and youll come out aheadCarShield

1 starI wish I could give no stars. We did everything right and by the book to maintain my vehicle. When checking fluids for the winter we found that my transmission fluid and coolant had mixed.If we had not been on top of this my transmission would have blown. We immediately stopped driving the truck and had it towed to a shop to prevent any other damage. When we used carshield half of the claim was denied for continuous use. The only way to find this MECHANICAL FAILURE was for us to get lucky like we did we find the mixed fluids, or you blow your transmission. They denied the transmission flushes that were 100% necessary and due to the MECHANICAL FAILURE. I am so upset and disappointed. I am canceling my contract. If you want to save yourself some money go with literally any other warranty. DO NOT GO WITH CARSHIELD.CarShield

1 starHorrible company, I had the highest coverage from them and they said that they do not provide service for brakes and rotors and say they were a routine service. that is not true because brakes are repaired based on the wear of the pads and the rotors, which could be up to 1 to 2 years after the purchase of the vehicle. THIS IS NOT AN ANNUAL REPAIR. Annual is every 3, 6, 12 months. they are total liars and a fraud.CarShield
