    Do not use this warranty company no mechanics will even work with them rendering your money spent worthless. It's awful they are even in business.

    Carshield and your administrator, ********************, are open to and willing to work with any repair facility that you select. However, each repair facility is able to determine who they wish to do business with as well. In this case they have refused to do business with you. There is nothing that CarShield or AAS can do to force any repair facility to work with you.Any repair facility can chose who they will and will not work with. This is clearly outside the control of CarShield. As a consumer with CarShield, this repair facility has refused to work with you and your coverage.Customer Relations ********************** is here to address your concerns.     Bought powertrain gold plan to cover my daughters 2007 HHR. Since I am a single mom with no car experience, I asked the salesman what policy would cover the engine specifically and the transmission. He told me that the Gold plan would cover the engine and transmission entirely. We took good care of the car, changed it's oil and my daughter didn't overdrive the car. My daughter's check engine light came on and we took it to the dealership. The valve seat failed and Car Shield refused to cover it becuase it was not appart of my policy. They said if you looked at my policy it states what it covers and valve seat was not covered. I am not a mechanic and do not know what the stuff is that is covered which is why I asked the salesman specifically if that covers all the engine and transmission. He said it did minus hoses and things like that.The car dealership said the engine needs to be replaced which came out to $9000. The car is not worth that. I canceled the policy since they weren't going to cover the cost of the repair and the customer ********************** lady said I should keep the policy to cover any repairs that are listed in the policy.Please learn from my experience.DO NOT BUY A CAR SHIELD POLICY -- They will find a way out of it.Waste of money and a false sense of security.

    "They take forever to process your claim and expect you to foot the bill for the rental, as they only cover 7 days. They then allowed their appraiser to lie to me and tell me that the part would be delivered in 5 days. I spoke with the mechanic, who said the work would be done in 1 day, so this should have worked for me. I went and got the rental based on that information. Since then, they called me and said that the shipping will take longer, but they will not cover the rental for a longer period because the repair is not covered in the contract. I understand contracts, so I get it, but as a customer, giving a ****** review is deserved for the service and what I have had to put up with this service and I should have and will go with another company for all my vehicles and this one moving forward if I am able."

    I was kept on a plan that I cancelled Feb. 2023, and they were still charging on my credit card. I told an employ on Feb 2023. to cancel one of my cars for good and keep one more month and cancel it the other car then. They denied what I explained and one of the ladies I spoke to me called me raciest when explaining what type of accent, he had who was suppose cancelled my contract the month after it was over. She was personal calling me a raciest being car shield's employer instead of not listening the situation I was in. Not getting a personal comment. She should not be employed by Car shield either. Plus they claim I didn't cancel to the gentlemen making the arrangement for my cancellation. They have been taking $69.99 every month since I told the man what I needed to do since I couldn't afford it. And without my consent, they were taking money out every month after I spoke to an employer to cancel my contract after the month expired. The one lady I spoke to got personal calling me a racist when I was speaking about my contract that was supposed to be cancelled. Poor business who don't back up their customers.

    Will harass you horribly if you dont pay exactly or early on time. And I mean harass. They will call and not listen and continue talking regardless of what you say, they will yell at you, they will call several times in a day. Then they will text you and email you. Understand, I have never placed a call for warranty coverage and it is a contract. Not money I owe for services rendered. Their behavior is inappropriate and harassment.

    If possible I'd give zero stars. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, COMPLETE SCAM. I went through 10 callbacks about my claim, paperwork was fine each time I was told but they couldn't reach mechanic shop. Mechanic shop number didn't work they said - I stayed on line with them 3 way call, it works fine! What did they do? They hung up. Carshield hung up. Tried 3 more times then gave up, what a ripoff.

    If I could give no stars I would I called to cancel my account and they gave me attitude and hung up on me they are not professional they deny every claim why pay all that money to get denied all the time could have used the money to fix the car

    *** /SHIELD CANNOT COMPREHEND THE **** THAT I HAVE NOT HAD THE *** I PREVIOUSLY HAD INSURED WITH THEM (2015 ***** TRAVERSE) FOR THREE YEARS. AFTER NUMEROUS CALLS TO THEM TO TELL THEM I HAD ANOTHER VEHICLE AND AN ENDURANCE WARRANTY INSURANCE FOR THE ***** 2018 EQUINOX PREMIERE, THEY CONTINUED TO SEND OUT "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED" FOR THE TRAVERSE. EVERY TIME I RECEIVE THIS LETTER I HAVE CALLED THEM AND HAVE BEEN ASSURED (EACH TIME) THAT I WOULD NO LONGER RECEIVE THESE LETTERS. THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED AND I NOW CONSIDER THE LETTERS AS HARRASSMENT! BELIEVE ME, ONCE YOU DEAL WITH CAR SHIELD. YOU WILL NEVER BE RID OF THEM!

    I was a month behind on my payment. I received a One-Time payment link via text (quick pay) made the past due payment of $119.99 and the payment i made was processed in addition to a additional payment without my consent. No reoccurring box was checked and the amount i authorized to pay was only for $119.99. I only received one receipt to my email. I had to see this additional payment on my banking transactions.I called the merchant and the representative i spoke with reached out to processing who denied to provide me with a refund because I was a month behind and due to me being on auto-pay. The card i paid with was not set up for auto-pay, it was a completely different one that i did not authorize to be placed under auto-pay. So, they took it upon themselves to make an additional charge without my approval.I reached back out to the merchant to remove my card off file which ******* was very rude over talking me to ensure she got her point across and then hung up on me when i did not back down. I call back and asked for a supervisor who advised me card removal would have to be completed by processing. Which now has left me with having to contact my bank institution for resolution when CarShield is completely in the wrong. Looking at the BBB issues and ratings I am not sure if i will be continuing business. I can't have merchants just processing payments without my authorization.
