      I have just been prescribed a medicine that my insurance company requires to come from Accredo. It has been 2 weeks and still no medicine, every time I call they have a different reason why it has not shipped. It appears from the other reviews here that they are completely incompetent. I hope I live to see the day when I might actually get to take this medicine

      Awful company where the right hand does not know the left hand at all and you get a different answer from 2 different people within 5 minutes of calling. My prescription was sent in Dec 2,2022 and I still have not gotten it yet because they can't keep things straight. I have no choice in using them. So express scripts can just keep s******* with us and they don't care.

      Absolutely horrible. Has taken me over a month to try and get prescription. Taken so long that prior authorizations have to be resubmitted to insurance companies and we have to start all over. Even doctors office states that they are the worst prescription company to deal with!

      I called in to the express scripts system on 12/14/2022 at 11:43 am CT. This call was redirected to an older woman. My request was to transfer in existing prescriptions. She informed me that I had to have my pharmacy call ***************** with the prescriptions and wished me luck. Little did I know I'd need luck. That number is a Medicare Spam Commercial number vs. an Express Scripts number. That process is not industry practice as ********* informed me, though it also broke with every prior experience I'd ever had transferring prescriptions too. This company is actively letting their staff lie to their customers when they're too lazy to actually answer the inquiry.

      Express Scripts or more so Accredo which is their specialty pharmacy mailed me my prescription twice without payment before it was shipped. I only found this out when I got the $2700 bill for two months of medicine. Accredo said they were unaware that the copay assistance had run out as the billing department does not communicate with the shipping department. Accredo said that since they already shipped it to me there is nothing they can do and that its the patient responsibility to pay for it even though they gave me as the patient no warning or heads up about having to pay for the medicine until they shipped the medicine and sent me the bill. Ive never heard of a pharmacy company shipping medicine before payment as that is not the way it works at a walk up pharmacy. They are just trying to stick the patient with the bill so they can get their money. They have no respect or care for the patient. I will not be paying the bill and will be sending the medicine back anyway as it should not be on me since I was not told until after the fact. I do not recommend using either express scripts or accredo specialty pharmacy. Someone needs to do something about this as this is unacceptable as a business.

      Incompetence is actually a compliment for Accredo. The only reason I use them is because I have no choice. Ive been taking the exact same drugs for 12 years now and it amazes me that this pharmacy cant seem to get it straight. I am constantly having to call and verify prescriptions that Ive either use their text ordering for or an online order. Their level of success is less than 50%. My last round of calls with them and my doctors office totaled 12, just to get a prescription renewed that they have had for the past five years. Absolutely exacerbating.

      I am absolutely dumbfounded as to how I can be required to use this pharmacy which has been anything but helpful. Today I was transferred 5 times before someone could actually find my prescription only to be told they cant fill it because in the two weeks it has taken them to do there processes the prescription is out of stock. My 10 year old has been without a required med he has been on since birth due to their lack of efficiency in processing the prescription in a timely manner. Meanwhile I keep getting automated calls saying Im due. Ridiculous!

      The absolute worst prescription coverage I have ever had. Their business model is to send you a 3-month supply for little to no cost. I have rarely had this happen due to them ALWAYS needing pre-authorization from the ******* even on refills. Everytime I call I am the mediator between the ******* ********** and pharmacy because express scripts cannot do their job. HORRIBLE.

      My employer requires me to use Accredo, a subsidiary of Express Scripts, to fill a specialty medication for my minor child. Accredo's systems make daily outbound calls asking you to call them regarding your prescription. When you call in, you are told it's time to refill your prescription. However, when you try to proceed with the refill you are told that the medication cannot be filled until your current dose is out. You are advised to call back once you've taken your last dose, or when you are within days of being out of medication. They will not consider refilling sooner to ensure you have sufficient dosage on hand, and repeatedly have you run the risk of going without the medication. When asked why they call advising it is time to refill, when really it is not, I have been repeatedly told that this is just how their system works and that my other option is to turn off all notifications - including refills reminders. Each month I spend multiple hours on the phone dealing with the harassing daily calls until I am able to actually fill my prescription. Something in the process needs fixing!

      I wouldnt give them any stars if that was an option. After being forced to use them or pay crazy money for my prescriptions I spent 3 hours on the phone to get things switched over. My daughter was already out of medicine at this point. They sent a request to the **. ** was mysteriously cancelled and they said the ** did it and the ******* theyd never cancel it. So without telling me I found out 2 weeks later after looking on the app so I called to find out why. After another 1.5 hours on the phone they sent another request to the ** and the dr sent it back for 90 days. After 5 days of processing they called and offered a 30 day supply while they continued to process the 90 day. On that same phone call I was told it was set for automatic refills. The ******************************************************************** the 90 day supply was cancelled by the **. ** claims this is false once again. So I asked when I could expect the next refill on the medicine since its set for automatic refill and they informed me that, that particular medicine didnt qualify for automatic refills. Mind you I was told a months ago it was set for automatic refills. So after another 1.5 hours on the phone extremely frustrated with the lack of training, know how, lies, etc I was able to convince them to overnight the medicine once it was processed. So my child will once again be without her medicine until ES can get their act together. If it was a drug needed to sustain life ES would have killed my daughter twice in the last month with their inability to do their jobs by simply refilling prescriptions. If I wasnt forced by my insurance to use them I wouldnt be using them at all and would have continued to fill my prescriptions at a local pharmacy. One can only hope they either go out of business or get their employees trained. Ill be contacting my HR to look into another provider for our company.
