      I've had their prescription drug coverage for 5 years. As of Jan. 1st, the company denied coverage for a medication I've been taking for the last three years, for both the brand and the generic versions. Prior to this, my usual pharmacy stated that the drug was out of stock, so after calling around to all pharmacies in the area finding it wasn't in stock, I called Express Scripts to see if it was available, and it was! Great, I thought. I even signed up for their text updates over the phone, at least I thought I did, when I spoke "yes" into the phone. Well, I contacted my doctor to have the script sent over, and all looks good. Almost a week goes by and I haven't received any updates so I login to their website and see "Canceled - Out of stock." ****** because someone should have contacted me, I call only to find out it IS in stock, I'm just being denied coverage. So the rep tells me to have a prior authorization sent for the brand. The brand is in stock, she tells me. So the prior authorization request is made. Express Scripts contacts my doctor and says it's denied, but when I check online it still says "processing". after a bunch of back and forth, I'm informed that the generic brand is authorized, but the brand is denied. How convenient.. Approved for a drug that isn't available. To confirm the branded drugs availability I CONTACT THE **** MANUFACTURER TEVA pharmaceuticals who informs me the shortage is only for the generic version, and that the Brand is readily available. I get a call first thing this morning stating that both requests were approved. I don't ask questions. I just don't want to go through with this next month. "Send me both" I said to the rep. ********** They said the order will be sent out on the 19th. I check online and both requests are being processed on the same invoice. Then.... I get a call later from Express Scripts stating "prior authorization is denied for " I call, find out that both drugs are out of stock.

      I didnt even sign up for Express Scripts. They mysteriously spawned from nowhere to make my life a living h*** I have Tricare and I ALWAYS get my Rx for free at military pharmacies. I NEVER authorized for them to become my primary pharmacy but somehow, here we are. I had surgery recently and my Doctor accidentally sent my scripts through Express Scripts instead of selecting the main hospital pharmacy. He tried to cancel them immediately but he was denied to cancel them even before they were shipped. They refuse returns even on unopened packages. I owe them over 50$ now for my doctors mistake.

      I have just filed a complaint with the ******* ************************* I have a billing error from April and May of last year and they wont correct it or let me speak with a supervisor. They have also not shipped my medication like many of you and I had to call multiple times to find out where it was. I was on hold with a billing rep yesterday for 1 hour 57 minutes and they billed my credit card for the old disputed balance that I already paid for after I explained everything again to the ********** is not a little amount. Its $1250.05. I am done with this stress. People who are sick should not have to go through this every single month. I get a flare and cant handle the stress anymore. We need to do something to get them to fix this!!!

      I wish I could give 0 stars. Im not sure who runs this place but why is it so hard to get my medications? How can it go from getting my shipments in a timely manner and on time, to stopping a shipment talking about insurance not covering. Literally nothing has changed. *** contacted them multiple times and still have no answer as to when my medication will come. Im glad Im not dying because they would literally let you die before giving you your medication. I hate this pharmacy with the burning passion. I wish I was just able to go to a regular local pharmacy for my medication.

      They files claims on your insurance even though you haven't requested to fill a prescription. They lie to you when they refuse to fill something the way your doctor wants it filled and decide they know better than you when you need medication, which is why they fraudulently file claims when they aren't filling any medication.

      The worst pharmacy I have EVER used. Been waiting for over a month to get a prescription filled for ADHD and still no word on when it will be in stock. Ive paid $200 out of pocket to my doctor to change the script for something they do have In stock after the serious impacts it had on my daily functioning not having this medicine. As soon as my doctor filled the script for the dose they did have in stock, they then tell me that now THAT dose is out of stock too. The cycle then begins again waiting for my meds.

      Express Scripts is horrible! I had the worst experience of my life today dealing with them, while I was sick and in need of medication! Plenty of horror stories already posted here. I feel obligated to share my zero star review :(

      Ive been dealing with accredo for over 2 years now and dont have a single good thing to say about them. Everything they do takes at least 5 days, they have absolutely no care that you may be late on your medication, and you will be on the phone for at least 40 minutes either on hold, or waiting for someone to figure out how to do their job. When I think of accredo, I think of a few things; incompetent, careless, utterly useless, and their lack of empathy for their customers is the most concerning. This past week Ive been trying to get my medication shipped on time, but accredo just habitually, cant seem to get it together. They told me it will take 5 days just for one of their pharmacists to approve my urgently written RX(not sure what has to be approved that takes 5 days for a med Ive been on for 2+ years). I called back after 5 days and they told me it may be another ****************************************************************************************************** 2 days before my scheduled dosage and I have no medicine on hand. The icing on the cake: they call me the following day saying they received my PA, scheduled my delivery, and call me the night before my scheduled dose to tell me my shipment is on hold because low and behold ***********, why would *********** if I already got one you ask? because they scheduled my delivery in fault and they never received a PA. After a week of trying to schedule this, I will still be late for my injection. Just dealing with them gives me anxiety as Im constantly worried I will miss my dose because of their inability to do their job correctly. I cannot understand why insurance company would want to go through them, they quite literally have no idea what theyre doing. If I had a choice to use another company I would have done it 2+ years ago.

      DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. We were forced to change to their services through my employer, and I have never seen a more inept, defective, inefficient organization in my life. We have given the same information multiple times, and still dont have my husbands Humira prescription. The customer service employees are not knowledgeable about medical/pharmaceutical subjects, and flat out dont care about the patients. I would be ashamed to work for them, and SHAME on the owners/directors of this pathetic outfit. If you have a choice, avoid this terrible organization. They do not care about their customers.

      What can be said about a pharmacy that does not think about the people who use their services.For people who call and order the medication in this pharmacy, not only their health, but also their lives depends on these medicines.Accredo professionals most often cannot answer a single simple question and please never ask them for any explanation.In almost two years that I have been using this pharmacy, there has not been a single month without problems.To go all the way from ordering to receiving medicines (refill) from them, you have to be a very healthy person (initially).Otherwise, you *********** not cope with this overwhelming task.Nobody works there to make life easier for the seriously ill, who have no choice but to call there every month.This is a terrible unprofessional place.Maybe some higher organization could oversee the operation of this terrible place.
