1 starI am a single mother of two. I was cursed at by a first lieutenant **** soldier. I was at the ********* location. The customer service represented assisting me was name ******. I waited four hours for a pick up. That was scheduled at 9:30. My insurance company scheduled the pick up. However, I was not picked up until 1230. After I was picked up the vehicle that I reserved was not available. ******, was unhelpful, she watched the soldier and I argue after he cursed at me. He called a woman named ****** on the phone. She continued to yell and curse at me . Then went outside and called the area manager. The area manager instructed ****** not rent to me. I had no way of leaving enterprise in *********, **********. My child has anaphylactic allergies. I was left stranded with no way to pick up my child from school. I called , many of their customer service numbers to arrange a different rental. However, after waiting an hour, no one return my phone call. Additionally, ****** left in a Wagoneer that was suitable to my requirements. She toss her hair and made fun of my crying. She laughed about going to get a cheesesteak. I am still awaiting transportation to pick up my child from school. On a different day, I made a reservation and my 16-year-olds name. ***** from the **************** location. Called me to inform me there was no available pick up for that Thursday or Friday. However, he called my 16-year-old while in class to offer her a pick up. ***** also offered her a better rate. Confused if enterprise has a problem with disabled veterans or burn victims.Review fromLaura R

1 starI traveled to *************, on Mother's Day weekend, I picked my rental up from the airport I reached the desk I was told two different things which were they didn't have a reservation under my name once I produced confirmation from MyEtrip I was told I had to pay more the rental didn't have insurance coverage. Booking through MyEtrip coverage for the rental is ALWAYS included you may be subject to pay a deposit refunded 7-10 business days after returning the vehicle. The following day my card was charged $924.00, and my rental total was $287.00 if a deposit was required it was no more than $350.00. The return process was horrible I knew my contract wasn't correct I contacted customer service informing them of my issue she asked to speak to the branch manager things went left after they spoke for my contract to be corrected. It took 3 agents to inspect the rental the agent stated the rental was good to go the agents started speaking in Spanish I was approached by the agent stated the car smelled like smoke and had damages all untrue. I video-recorded the entire process of return I arrived at 12:06 pm earlier than my return time. I told the manager what extra charges I may have I'll dispute them I needed to catch my flight I was held at Enterprise for 45 minutes finally got on the shuttle to be turned around stating I had the wrong contract and I missed my flight. I've been reaching out to customer service since/13/2024 no communication from Enterprise to address my concerns as well my signature has been forged I have two supporting documents and a video of my claims. I've rented from Enterprise for over two decades I've never experienced poor customer service.Review fromKenneth P

1 starI paid a $100 dollar deposit to hold a car for a test drive ONLY. My wife did not want to purchase the car after the test drive. The salesman and his manager tried constantly to get me to buy this car and I told them we would check back later for something different. They were supposed to refund my deposit that day, (Tuesday, May 21). We met with them at 10:30 a.m. that morning. After lunch we decided not to buy. The manager and the salesman said they would credit my bank account right away. It has been three days now. I have called and emailed them to ask for my refund. They keep telling me, "it should be in your bank today." There is nothing in my account as of yet. Please help me resolve this. My wife and I are retired and on a fixed income. I told these people that and they said they understood. Well, obviously they don't. I will spread the word to all my friends and on social media about the treatment I have received from this company. I have bought two cars from Enterprise in the past and never had this problem before. I suppose there is always someone who has to put a stain on the company. Thank you for helping me. Monday is Memorial Day and if they don't deposit these monies back into my account, it will be almost another week before I see anything show up in the bank.Review fromLaura R

1 starEnterprise Car-Rental in *************, ** on ****************************************** I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. This wasn't my first rental from them, but my second, I had no issues with my first rental. My second rental I was very disappointed with this place as I was given a really unclean vehicle the inside was very dirty from the nasty white stains on the seats, to the interior was so nasty and dirty I had to literally used my lysol wipes to clean it up. I was so disgusted with how dirty my rental was given to me. On top of that, the rental came with no car mats. The money I spent on this rental, my vehicle should've been given to me cleaned, not dirty. It's not my job to clean a nasty vehicle I did not dirty in the first place! I called them about the issue with how nasty the vehicle was, and I was given the run around when I tried to do an exchange or at least have the vehicle I had properly cleaned. **************** is very unprofessional and I was lied to when I took the vehicle to them on the situation and was told no supplies was there at the time and I'll get a call for the next day to bring the car back I never gotten a called. When it was time to return the rental, I told the employee I'll never rent again here, and he laughed like it was some sort of joke. I wasn't laughing or kidding. In his mind, he thought it was funny and that I'll rent again from them not happening. This is what Enterprise does? Rent out nasty unclean vehicles to customers? I felt embarrassed to let anyone in that nasty rental. I had to put my clean towels inside for sea covers. If I could give 0 stars, I would! This isn't how you treat your customers.Review fromCynthia C

2 starsForced me to return a business rental approximately 4 hours prior to the rental agreement. Rental agent mishandled the last transaction on purpose. The cops were supposedly on the phone quietly listening. I was told no trespassing. There was a litigation matter, and I had the class to help their best financial interest.Review fromshawn s

1 starTHIS PLACE ***** A** Avoid it like the plague. I did not choose these people. My insurance has a contract with them I had the truck for a month and barely used it. I left it at the car repair place and a week later after getting my car back from the repair shop, I was contacted about an alleged claim of damage. I immediately contacted my insurance and told them that these people were trying to claim damage that I was not responsible for... Go back to the beginning- super high pressure to get the supplemental bumper to bumper coverage. I declined it because this is typically gravy because people get it to be safe. I knew that I didn't need it. My insurance ended up paying the claim- throwing me under the bus. I demanded the computer readout to establish that the damage had actually occurred while I was under contract. The computer on these newer cars knows how fast you drive, if you use your seat-belts, etc. ************** actually have you plug in a drive in the *** port to see your driving habits. I was ignored. If it truly was my fault and the damage had occurred while I was under contract, I told them that I would certainly pay but I was disputing the claim. They ignored me and did not return my e-mails and although I did speak with multiple times, it was apparent that they were not being cooperative. The last contact it was a threatening letter that I had to pay or they would send me to collections. I sent them a check to have this nightmare come to an end. They charged my credit card on file without my authorization and I had my bank charge it back as fraud- This was not an authorized charge. This would have been simple if they had only established that I was responsible. My belief is that they are unable to prove anything because of their ignoring me. I sent them a check and called them that I had sent a check but today I received a letter from a collection agency. They are rated "F" -- too high in my estimation. I would give them F- .Review fromBillie M

1 starI would give ZERO stars if possible! Had a car booked over a week in advance and on my way to pick it up they called to say they were all out of cars. They then rerouted me to a location an hour further away. And on my way there they called to say there were no cars. So then I rescheduled for a location an hour away in the opposite direction for the next day... yep, you guessed it. No cars. Then I am told that the people on the phone who make these reservations (NetRes) are on a quota or commission and get paid for each reservation they make. So basically they're promising cars that don't exist and oh well.Review fromKris M

1 starIf I could give this establishment zero stars., I would. My husband and I were going out of town for the weekend and reserved a car (with a confirmation number and details) from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in *******, ****, to be picked up on Friday, April 12th at 8:00 AM. I got a call at about 7:30 AM saying that the car wasn't ready and they would call me when it was. I explained that we were both working that day and that's why we were going to pick it up at 8, but I would be able to get pick up the car sometime after noon. I got a call back at about 9:00AM that the car was ready to be picked up. Again, I explained that I was at work now but could get it in the afternoon, when I had ride to their office. They gave the car to someone else. The manager said that is their policy. Then he said they would have another car for me and the he had something to do but he would call me when he finished the errand and might even be able to pick me up. He never called me. I called and no one answered a couple of times and then went into the office to see what was happening. He said a "confirmation" is not a guarantee that you will actually get a car. What? I think people need to know that they do NOT stand behind their promises. If you reserve a car ahead of time, they do not guarantee you will get one. It ruined our weekend. I called corporate and they said someone would call me in 24 - 28 hours to discuss the situation. No one has ever called me. I called them a week after the incident. Again, they said someone would call me. NO CALLS. A few years ago, I posted a positive review because their customer service was superlative. Times have changed. No longer the case. Terrible manager, terrible customer service. Very, very disappointing. Weeks later, I have heard NOTHING from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in spite of the fact that they have all of my contact information and promised they would call me.Review fromDaniel G

1 starThis complaint is for the location at ************************************************************. When I went to pick the rental was not ready. Alleged call me but no message on phone. Next day when picking up rental, enterprise employee became mad because did pick up any or the four additional coverage, Today returned car, and enterprise employee said to just drop off the keys since was busy. About two hours later, enterprise called saying there was damage. There was not any additional damage done while I had rental. I do not feel this is fair since Enterprise did not want to review car when I returned car. I fell this is retaliation for not added the additional coverages. Do not fell should have to pay any additional amount for alleged damage.
