Terrible customer service. ******** employees. Blatantly lied to my face and left me stranded in the parking lot.

I was hit by a drunk driver who was driving a rental Enterprise car. He pulled over and then fled scene when I called 911. Contacted customer care who sent it to claims. The employee and people I spoke with in claims were terrible. She never shared they close the claim in 15 days, laughed at me and refused to get me a supervisors contact even though I asked 4 separate times. The employee withheld that I had to seek video evidence and never advised me to until 2 weeks after the hit and run. When I reached out to business where it occurred in front of, her video resets every Monday, therefore, zero evidence. She cost me my claim by wrongfully withholding details or what to do. In addition, her supervisor did not care when I called claims to request her information after being denied. The supervisor told me there is zero corporate contact information for them to provide me so that I could share my nightmare experience. The drunk driver never purchased insurance and I was told he has none. The employees working for Enterprise claims make it a point to not want to pay accident claims by drunk drivers who hit and run. Its been one of the worst experiences ever. Disgusting

I decided last minute to rent a car when I arrived in ********, it happens. The lady that first helped me was ok but as we spoke I remembered I have limits on all my ************** cards as I've been compromised before (as I'm sure many have). My daily limit is $1000, when I mentioned this she said she had to ask her manager if it could be split between two cards. Apparently "the system" doesn't allow for that. I can't be the only person that has put limits on their cards because of past issues with being compromised. I said I could pay the extra in cash, she said you don't take cash. (Last time I checked we weren't a communist country??) The man behind the counter beside her was trying to suggest solutions, none that would work for enterprise, I was trying to figure out what to do so I wasn't stranded and she just walked away and disappeared. I called my boss and asked if I could use the company card (that I don't normally carry when I'm away lucky I had it) so problem sorted....BUT she never came back. 12 minutes later I'm still standing there waiting for her to come back. I asked the man from earlier if maybe he could help finish the transaction and he was more than happy to help. Although he couldn't find the keys to the unit she had assigned to me, he tried to call her, no answer and she wasn't in the back. Finally, after being there for around 25 minutes I was good to go. Also, I am a little confused as to why I got charged a one way fee when the unit I got was to go back to ******* anyway, since that unit was a Calgary unit and I was taking it there why wouldn't the extra fee be waived? The man that I spoke with when I dropped off was great!! He listened to me whine about check in lady and was apologetic even though it obviously wasn't his fault the way she treated me.

Made rese5with ********, ** site to rent car September *****, 2024, our car in shop. Arrived and told no cars. Returned home made reservation with ********, **, Spur 63 location. Called the site to guarantee car available for September *****, 2024. On hold 13 minutes then system disconnected call. Called customer care and was told she could send message to Longview site to verify reservation- told her that was not what I wanted- she said I offered you an option- told her that option was unacceptable and she hung up on me. I called the Longview site again, young man answered, told him I had reser7for the next day and needed to guarantee a vehicle would be available- he said they have no cars available until September 23rd. I asked how can I make a reservation and site has no cars? He said the reservation system does not know how many cars are at each location. Unbelievable. If a hotel took a reservation and guest arrived and told no rooms that hotel would be out of business. Hotel does not guarantee the room type but does guarantee a room. I consider Enterprise Car Rental accepting a reservation and not guaranteeing a car to be deceptive, unethical, and just downright unacceptable customer service. From not getting a car, call being disconnected after holding for 13 minutes, hung up on by customer service- we will NEVER deal with ********************** again. We had to rearrange our schedule due to Enterprise's deceptiveness- taking a reservation and not having cars. I am angry over the treatment we received. Enterprise is also price gouging. If you prepay for a tank of gas the cost is $2.70 gallon. If they have to fill the car with gas upon return you are charged $4.79. It is the same gasoline so why such an increase in the price? Price gouging . Enterprise you have a lot to learn about great customer service. Pitiful service.

Let me tell you what happened to me today. I reserved a car last night. I dropped my car off at the ********** in ****** and walked to enterprise. Its hot. Im sweaty. I get there and wait because there is only one person at the counter with a room full of customers. When they finally get to me and take my drivers license, she then tells me sorry they have no car for me. They say they tried to contact me (they didnt ).Next person ********* offer to help or call other rental places. They left me stranded and I trusted them. I will never trust this company again, especially not the Conway branch.

I am from the **** I picked up a rental car at the ***************** that was already paid for. The agent upgraded me to an automatic transmission and told me this would cost just under $200. The contract was in German so I had to take his word for what I was signing. Also, he never gave me a copy of the agreement. Upon return to the ***, There was a charge on my credit card for $1337.23. This was clearly the agent giving me upgrades I did not want or agree to and did not tell me about to increased his commission. I have been calling and emailing Enterprise for 3 months, both in the **** and ***************** branch. I filed an "Official Complaint" with them (their term). I have always been told someone who could help me would contact me "soon". No contact has ever been made and I am still out more than $1100.

Put in for a rental a month before I needed it. Told the reservations that I would be hauling stuff from ***** to Miss. Wanted to make sure I could get a truck. Was told needed a major credit card to rent when I got there. Was given an all elect truck. I told them I couldn't take that across country. They said they called and reserved me a gas truck in ******. Went to ****** and found there wasn't a vehicle for me. They also informed me there that there isn't a charging cord. Made several calls to get it changed. Was told it was escalated up and someone would call back. After several calls was told no one would call until I turned the truck in.

I was denied a rental car with enterprise at ******************* sunday aug 25, 2024 between 7 and 7:30 pm. I was told my drivers license failed their scanner and that it was worn or damaged. and the rest of my party could not rent one. This reservation was made through my companys corporate account with ********************. I am also a rewards member with enterprise. I use enterpise alot. I rented with enterprise before this incident with no problems. Not knowing if this failure of my drivers license will effect future reservations I went to another enterprise location by my home and they ran my drivers license with no problems. So this should not have even happened getting denied a rental car.. I cant believe this is how a repeating customer gets treated.

Approximately 1 week ago, I drove off the lot in a rental car. On 8-29, that car would not start. Their roadside assistance said it would take approx. 90 minutes to get help to me. With the assistance of a friend, we got the car started in less than 15 minutes after a traditional jumpstart failed. On 8/30 I took that car to that Enterprise location and replaced it with another rental. A few hours later that car would not go into reverse, and was undriveable as a result. Enterprise arranged to have that car towed away and it was. I requested another car and none was provided. When a contract is signed to rent a car, it is reasonable to assume the car will work and that any and or all replacement vehicles will work as well.
