My loan with ****** was sold to systems & services technologies in January 2024, I was notified January 2nd, 2024 that my payment was due 01/22/2024. SST sent me billing coupons for me to pay my loan. SST did not mentioned they had set me up for auto pay. I sent my payment in and today 01/23/2024 SST took an auto pay payment + my check for payment. This is what predator lenders do, don't notify customers how they have rigged the payments. I called SST today 01/23/2024 and told them to take me off auto pay-I SHOULD HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED OF THEIR INTENTIONS, NOT BLINDSIDED. The customer service rep took me off auto pay and she stated "NO PAYMENT WAS DUE UNTIL MARCH 2024. SST HAS A C- RATING THAT TELLS THE WHOLE STORYBusiness Response

****** sold its loan portfolio to SST and in December my loan was transferred to them. I make bi-weekly payments. In the midst of transfer SST recorded only 1/2 of it. I reached out to them and explained the problem. They told me to provide the payment transactions that show the frequency of payments. I did. I called them several times they acknowledged seeing the transaction. Yet they are sending me notices that I am late on my payments and requesting full month payment. As of today I have provided copies of payments twice. Twice they sent me notices for full payment. They illegally pocket $164 plus they are charging me to interest for days my balance didn’t reach 0. They have a survey at the end of the call asking if I would hire of fire the agent I spoke with. This tells you they also have no respect for their employees.Business Response

Dear Ms. ******:
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the above-referenced complaint your office brought to our
attention. Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) is a loan servicing and payment
processing company that is committed to resolving customer service issues in a cooperative and
expeditious manner.
We’ve completed our review of the account in question and found the following:
On January 14, 2022, ****** ************** signed an agreement for a ****** ** ******* ***** loan
(“the Contract”) financing $18,000.00. According to the Contract, Ms. ************** agreed to make
72 monthly payments of $324.37, beginning on February 14, 2022. On December 11, 2023, the
Account was assigned to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) for servicing. A transfer
letter was sent to the address on file on December 11, 2023, explaining how to access the new
servicing information.
At the time of servicing transfer to SST the Account had a balance of $12,565.65 and due for the
December 14, 2023 payment. Five payments have been made with SST since the transfer; a Wire
transfer of $164.00 on December 18, 2023; a payment of $164.00 sent via Lockbox on December 28,
2023; a payment of $164.00 via Electronic Lockbox on January 8, 2024; a payment of $164.00 via
Electronic Lockbox on January 22, 2024 and payment of $164.00 via Electronic Lockbox on February
5, 2024.
The Account is set up for monthly payments in accordance with the Contract. When making bi-weekly
payments, the system interprets this as not a full payment and shows the remaining partial payment as
still due. Due to misinformation provided during the transfer, the $164.00 was not reflected and a
letter was inadvertently mailed regarding the past due balance. To correct this issue, we worked
closely with ******* ***** to obtain the funds and have appropriately applied to the Account.
Interest was not an issue here as we backdated the payment to the date of transfer.
The Account is showing past due for the February 14, 2024 payment of $324.37. Account is also due
for the current payment of $324.37 for a total due of $648.74.
If Ms. ************** has any further questions or concerns, she may contact SST Customer Service

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:
?Prior to that transfer, I made bi-weekly payments of $164 to ******. My payments are timed in a way that the full payment is to be received before the 14 of each month. At the time of the service transfer, I inadvertently sent my second portion of the December payment to ****** instead of SST.
SST has never acknowledged receiving the second portion of the December payment on the 18th. I have provided them with the log of bi-weekly payments made from October to December 2024 prior to the transfer. All they had to do was to reconcile the amounts.I have to say Mr. *******’s letter is very confusing and self-contradictory. He acknowledged receiving bi-weekly payments on five occasions between December 18th to January 22nd. He also acknowledged the weakness of his system for its inability to handle bi-weekly payments. He worked with ****** *****, but the problem remains. Yet I owe a total of $648.74 when SST has received $820 during the time. Customer service is hounding me for lack of payments early in the morning. Today, they tried to impersonate ******* *****.
I am very surprised that for a company that boasts efficiency, technology, leadership and excellent customer service, my account was poorly handled. At the time of this letter, another bi-weekly payment was sent out. I need to send $164 to make the second half of March payment. I will change the frequency starting April, but SST must correct and reconcile my account.
I will appreciate receiving a letter from SST stating the good standing and the correct balance of my account.
Sincerely,

Open a borrow/grow account with this company. After several months I decided this would not be beneficial. I've asked for a refund and filed a dispute with credit reporting agencies as they have this as a charge off. What was owed? You never gave me anything. I gave you funds that I am now seeking to be refunded plus interest asap. This is my 3rd attempt to recoup my funds. I have also contacted the attorney general in this state. This company does shady business and targets less fortunate individuals. Please refund my money and close this business.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: you keep stating there was a lian but can't verify when any such loan was given to me. A loan is money received that requires repayment. Show me where and when these funds were allocated to me. No such fund exchange exists. You've never learnt me anything. You will hear from the Attorney general and my legal representation now. It is sad how companies try to maneuver money from poor law abiding citizens. Also prove to me when I gave permission for any information to be released to a collection agency. My loan account with Marcus Goldman Sachs was sold to SST servicing. I only learned of this on 12/11/23 when trying to log into my Marcus account. I spoke with SST and created an account to complete my loan obligation. I was never behind on a payment and they blamed it on Marcus that my last payment had only gone to interest. I emailed them proof of payment and ended up paying an extra 200 on my December payment as I grew tired of wasting my time trying to resolve this over the phone on 4 different occasions. My payments have always been broken up into 2 different payments, every 2 weeks, resulting in the account being paid on time. They advised there would be no change and they would continue to mail me a bill. I receive a bill asking for 2 months of payments when my bill is up to date I have proof of all payments made They have horrible billing practices and take no responsibility for resolving their errors. They continue to blame Marcus, but I had no billing issue with Marcus. I have spoken to supervisors and wasted hours of my time on the phone. I can only say SST agents were polite but unfortunately useless. I want my billing information updated and my normal monthly payment to be taken as a patent that I agreed to make and not distributed elsewhere on my account.Business Response

I have contacted SST 3 times via email requesting an explanation of transactions on my account. They only respond with"For your protection, Systems & Services Technologies, Inc. does not discuss individual account information via the Internet. This policy prevents identity theft and secures your privacy." I have given written permission to send via email, on the web portal, or USPS as they already send a billing statement that includes my account number, amount due, etc. I had noticed on 04/30/24 that there were 8 reversals posted to the account and asked for an explanation. In my experience with SST, I have learned that what you are told over the phone is not reliable information and the information given is always different from one agent to another.Initial Complaint

I’ve been trying to obtain a payment check from this company since I had a savings account, and my money was never returned to me. On December 2, 2023, I received an email stating that I would receive a payment for my savings account and to contact them if I had more questions. I did because I wanted to update my new address on file, but I didn’t realize it was already updated in the email/letter I received on Dec 2, 2023. Every time I called them, they said my address was updated and they would reissue the check for the amount of $467.90 to my address. I’ve called three or four times in total, and there’s no resolution or check on the mail.Customer Answer

I had a personal loan with Goldman Sachs' Marcus (a/c *************) transferred over to SST for servicing on December 9th, 2023. I have been making timely monthly payments on this loan for 18 months. Goldman Sachs clearly stated that the cut-off date before which servicing would be transferred over to SST was December 8th. Accordingly, I made my payment to Goldman Sachs for the month of December on December 1st, with the expectation that this would be reflected in the handover of records to SST, and that I would then begin making payments to SST in January.
However, SST apparently has no record of this transaction made to Goldman Sachs, despite it being made a full week before the cut-off, and is now reporting my December payment as delinquent. Moreover, Goldman Sachs appears to have deleted my payment history from their Marcus app and website. I am staggered by this degree of incompetence in handling the transition and request that SST work with Goldman Sachs at the earliest to correct their records and acknowledge receipt of my timely loan payment for December. My new SST account number is ********* A copy of the receipt for the December payment, issued by Goldman Sachs, is attached here.Customer Answer

My account was paid through a prior servicer until 12/9/23, though I made a payment 12/8/23 for half my monthly payment. The remaining half I paid 12/22/23 under the new servicer (SST). My payment was due 12/25/23, therefore it was paid early. The new system is showing late (not registering the 12/8/23 payment with prior servicer). I called last friday and ******* at SST saw the issue and said it was fixed. Yesterday it was still not fixed in system, showing 8 days late, so I called again. I got the same rep, who stated she got it taken care of. I'm still getting calls and texts showing late payment when it isnt late. This billing matter needs to be resolved immediately .Business Response
