      Dear Ms* *******

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the above-referenced complaint your office brought to our
attention. Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) is a loan servicing and payment
processing company that is committed to resolving customer service issues in a cooperative and
      expeditious manner.

We’ve completed our review of the account in question and found the following:

      On March 21, 2022, ***** ***** signed an agreement for a ****** by ******* ***** loan (“the
Contract”) financing $15,000.00. According to the Contract, Ms. ***** agreed to make 36 monthly
payments of $459.66, beginning on April 30, 2022. On December 11, 2023, the Account was assigned
to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) for servicing.

The Account came to SST with a balance of $5,893.78 and due for the December 30, 2023 payment.
Payments made with SST since the transfer are:

Date Payment Received Amount of Payment Type of Payment
      12/30/23 $459.66 AutoDraft
      1/30/24 $459.66 AutoDraft

SST’s website accountinfo.com, is a valid site and Ms. ***** should be able to access her account
      information there.

Ms. *****’s Account is set up for ACH (recurring autopay). All payments received have been applied
and the Account shows current and due for the March 30, 2024 payment of $459.66.

SST reached out to Ms. ***** on March 8, 2024, to be sure she could access her Account. She
indicated what she was wanting was the email confirmation she was told she would get after making a
phone payment with an agent. This was the document she was inquiring about. We explained that we
do not send those for payments over the phone and she understood.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The response does not address nor resolve the main issue. This account was not opened by me and is a result of fraud. I have contacted SST and the company they have indicated (********) in their response. SST has not properly investigated the claim and simply replied that they "are no longer servicing the account". ******** is saying they dont do credit reporting for the account and refers back to SST.

I want a copy of all documents associated with the account (Contract, any information used at account opening etc) and information on who owns credit reporting so I can redirect to the investigation office with the police department where the fraud report was filed. If you cannot comply, then remove the fall reporting of the account with the CRAs.

My account was sold from ****** ******* ***** on December 11th, 2023. Before this had taken place, I had made a partial payment to Marcus for $138 on December 1st. This payment cleared my bank on December 4th. After the account transitioned, I paid another $138 to SST over the phone on December 14th to make up my $276 due for December.
For my January payment, I paid $138 on 1/2/24 and 1/15/24, making up the $276 due for January.
For my February payment, I paid $138 on 1/29/24 and 2/9/24, making up the $276 due for February.
However, EVERY MONTH I get an email from SST saying I am past due and I am not paying my bill. I also get phone calls telling me that I am past due and need to pay my bill.
I never paid my bill late to Marcus and NEVER had any issues with them. Now, every month I have a headache from SST to look forward to.

      Dear Ms. *******

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the above-referenced complaint your office brought to our
attention. Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) is a loan servicing and payment
processing company that is committed to resolving customer service issues in a cooperative and
expeditious manner. Please know that SST has no ownership in this Account; it is merely the servicer.

We’ve completed our review of the account in question and found the following:

      On October 15, 2020, **** ****** signed an agreement for a ****** ** ******* ***** loan (“the
Contract”) financing $11,000.00. According to the Contract, Ms. ****** agreed to make 66 monthly
payments of $276.00, beginning on November 15, 2020. On December 11, 2023, the Account was
assigned to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) for servicing.

The Account came to SST with a balance of $5,936.38 and due for the December 15, 2023 payment.
Seven payments have been made with SST since the transfer.

Due to misinformation received during the transfer, the payment made to ******* was not reflected,
causing the Account to appear late. Once the payment was received and showing, the due date was
corrected. All payments have been applied and the Account shows current and due for the April 15,
      2024 payment of $276.00.

Ms. ****** should be aware that making partial payments, while acceptable, will not be sufficient to
roll the next due date. The system interprets a partial payment as a partial payment and the Account
will not show current until or unless the second payment is received before the actual due date.

If Ms. ****** has any further questions or concerns, she may contact SST Customer Service directly
      at ###-###-####.

In Dec 2023 my loan was held by ****** Loans. There agreement was when payment was received in 12 consecutive months you could receive a reward which will allow you to skip a month's payment, no interest fee involved. I phoned and requested this reward to be added. I was approved to skip the month of January 2024 payment and was going to be sent info until ****** transfered the loans to sst. I immediately phoned sst about this and was told because the agreement was through ******, I would be honored this. As the January due date came along, I was charged and received an overdraft fee as well being in the negative. I called and complained and was told they would honor next month (February 2024) as my skipped payment month. The statement received (attached) even showed my next payment would not be in February but in March 2024. As of today, I once again was charged after countless calls, emails as well as confirmation from customer service that this would not happen again. I am $-100 in my account and FURIOUS!!! I needed that money for living expenses and they took it without warning!!!

I received a letter from SST via email approximately around the first week of December 2023 stating that my account is paid in full and to contact SST regarding my refund. After reading the letter I immediately called SST and was told that my account is paid in full and a refund for the amount of $499.93 was due back to me from my loan savings account since the account is now paid in full. From this time-frame of December 2023 until current February 8, 2024. I have called SST 4 times regarding my refund and have been getting the run around about my account. Each time I speak with someone I am either told that the check is in the mail already and when 10 business days go by a new story is told that other company called *** has my account. For the two times that I contacted *** at ************, I was told that they don't have my account in their system. However, before being told about ***, my refund was supposed to been already mailed to me since December 2023 and January 2024. And again in February 2024. I provided SST my new address end of January 2024 and was told a new check will be mailed on Friday, January 26, 2024 via mail from SST as a special handling in their office and that my account will not be transferred to *** for a refund since my account was paid in full already. My SST was paid in full using my savings account that was being funded as I paid off my loan. SST paid off my load using the savings account funds and their was some money left over for $499.93. I was told the amount $499.93 is owed to me twice in 2 separate calls to SST. My complaint is the consistent run around to receive my check in the mail and the constant difference processes, procedures, and location of my account that is inconsistent. I would like this issue resolved as I have been very patient and no longer trust what I am being told about receiving a check in the mail. It feels like a scam, fraud. I am requesting my check as of yesterday and not satisfied with the service of SST.

      Customer Answer

The company has mailed the check for $499.93 as of last week and this issue has been resolved after I sent my complaint to the BBB.
Please close this case resolved and no further action is required.

Marcus sold their personal loans to SST. This company seems extremely unpopular with all of its complaints and also unprofessional (they posted someone's loan terms publicly in response to a complaint on this website). Their own website looks as if it was made by someone with basic HTML knowledge only and from what I've gathered the SSL was not valid either. To access statements they email you a password protected file?! Not sure what the password is but assuming it's either my account number or social neither of which I plan to enter in that field. Besides security the website is clunky to use and I often have trouble logging in, even changed a password only to get denied and locked out of my account immediately after. As someone else stated I don't remember agreeing to this or signing any contract with SST so I am weary to make any more payments until I can be sure it's safe. Also want to note that I never gave them any phone number but randomly received a call today after sending a complaint to their customer service weeks ago. My advice, avoid like the plague, shady business and poor op-sec

Unfortunately my loan was sold to SST in October/november 2023. SST is the worse company and unorganized at best. They had no proper information with the transfer and gave me the run around in the beginning. I attempted to get my loan pushed back due to a hardship and they said I need to bring my payment current which I did, then I could call back and get the hardship for the next payment cycle.

Well I called, the representative put the paperwork through and I thought all was well. Since then, I keep getting calls. I answer and the representative said that I have to go online and complete it. Not sure why if I spoke to a live representative and she completed it. Fast forward to me trying on their site, only for there to be NO OPTION to request the hardship. This company is a joke. Another representative called me today and said they have no hardship option request for me, then I said thats not true I just spoke to someone who verified he saw the request, then she changed her story. Said I had to go online and make the request and again because on their end, it won’t let them, there’s no such request link to do so on my end. Never had an issue with Goldman. SST needs better training and better customer service because the lady I spoke to this morning was very rude as if I didn’t know what I was talking about. All she had to do was read.

      Dear Ms. *******

On August 15, 2021, ******* ************** signed an agreement for a ****** by Goldman Sachs
loan (“the Contract”) financing $20,500.00. According to the Contract, Ms. ****** agreed to make 37
monthly payments of $632.88, beginning on September18, 2021. On December 11, 2023, the Account
was assigned to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) for servicing. A transfer letter
was sent to the address on file on December 11, 2023, explaining how to access the new servicing
      information.

The Account came to SST with a balance of $6,041.80 and due for the December 18, 2023 payment.
One payment has been made on the Account on January 5, 2024 for $632.88.

As to the hardship request, Goldman offers a Long Term Assistance Plan (LTAP) and a Short Term
      Assistance Plan (STAP).

Under the LTAP, borrowers can’t have been on any other program for 12 months and it is only offered
one time for the month of the loan. This allows them to make a lower monthly payment.

The STAP is similar in that borrowers cannot have been on any programs at all within a 12-month
period and if approved, they would be able to defer one-month payment.

If eligible for a hardship, borrowers may also apply online or contact SST to speak with an Agent.

Currently, Ms. ****** is ineligible for any payment programs at this time. She has already had prior
assistance with ******* ***** and will not be eligible for further assistance until December, 2024.
That would also be why there is no option to select “hardship” on the website.

If Ms. ****** has any further questions or concerns, she may contact SST Customer Service directly at
      ###-###-####.

My complaint with this company is almost exactly the same as all the other complaints I’ve read through. SST took over the servicing of my loan from ******* ***** and I’ve had nothing but issues since. They tell me I haven’t missed any payments yet they call telling me I owe thousands and need to make a payment. I’ve spoken with two supervisors since the second week of December and both have told me they have a glitch in their system and that all payments have been made and I am current. They continue to call demanding a payment. They text and email me saying I missed payments. They have refused to accept bank statements as proof that I’ve made all payments. Where do I go next?

      Dear Ms. *******

      On April 23, 2022, ******* ******** signed an agreement for a Marcus by ******* ***** loan (“the
Contract”) financing $21,000.00. According to the Contract, Mr. ******** agreed to make 36 monthly
payments of $682.45, beginning on May 23, 2022. On December 11, 2023, the Account was assigned
to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) for servicing. A transfer letter was sent to the
address on file on December 11, 2023, explaining how to access the new servicing information.

When the servicing transferred to SST the Account had a balance of $8,530.49 and due for the
December 23, 2023 payment. Fifteen payments have been made on the Account since the transfer.

Due to misinformation provided during the transfer, some of the ******* payments were not
reflected, resulting in the attempted contacts. The issue was corrected by updating the due date.

The Account is current and due for the March 23, 2024 payment of $682.45.

I had a loan with ******. This loan was for $4500, with $2500 in a savings account. My payment was $200. I had paid the loan down and at some point it was sold to SST Solutions. I continued to pay, and my balance was near the $2500 mark. I called in November of 2023, and inquired whether I would be able to use the savings account to pay off the loan and was told I would be able to pay off the loan using the savings account to apply to the balance. On December 22, 2023, I made a payment in the amount of $372.76, which was the difference between my savings and my payoff balance. I was told it would be 30 days, the account would be paid in full and I would not have to make any more payments. I received a statement in the mail around Jan 15, detailing a $200 payment. I called and inquired as to the situation, and was told the savings was processed and approved and all should be okay and not to make my January payment. I called again on January 22, and this time was told the savings account processing was NOT approved due to "formatting errors" and that the form was kicked back. They submitted this again and I was told by January 29 it should be paid off. It is currently January 29, and it is still not paid. I called again and was told it was approved and not to make a payment. I do not want to miss a payment, nor do I want this impacting my credit.
