My account was transferred from ****** ** ******* ***** to SST in December with minimal notice. I see that SST is a collection agency and at no time was this account overdue. I had been paying my account on time. SST started charging me a daily interest rate that was not in my original account loan terms to collect more money on the loan than was supposed to be collected based on the original loan terms. I ended up paying more than I would have if the original loan had stayed with ****** ** ********Business Response

e: Case # ******** – ***** ********
Dear *** *******
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the above-referenced complaint your office brought to our
attention. Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) is a loan servicing and payment
processing company that is committed to resolving customer service issues in a cooperative and
expeditious manner. Please know that SST has no ownership in this Account, does not purchase loans
and is not a debt collector; it is merely the servicer.
We’ve completed our review of the account in question and found the following:
On November 22, 2022, ***** ******** signed an agreement for a ****** ** ******* ***** loan
(“the Contract”) financing $5,946.40. According to the Contract, *** ******** agreed to make 18
monthly payments of $387.94, beginning on December 24, 2022.
On December 11, 2023, the Account was assigned to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”)
for servicing. The terms of the Contract remain the same. SST had no involvement with any *******
accounts prior to the transfer.
At the time of servicing transfer, the Account had a balance of $1,577.80 and due for the December 24,
2023 payment. Four Webpay payments have been made with SST since the transfer.
To the issue regarding interest, SST would refer *** ******** to her Contract, under Section 1.
Agreement to Pay, subsection a. General which states:
“By signing below, you agree to the terms of this Installment Loan Agreement and any Appendices
("Agreement"). You agree to pay to us a principal amount equal to the loan proceeds we disburse on
your behalf (your "Amount Financed") together with interest, which accrues daily on the outstanding
principal balance using an annual interest rate of 20.99% (together referred to as the "Loan"). Because
this is a daily simple interest Loan, interest accrues every day on the principal balance that is
outstanding. To the extent permitted by applicable law, interest will continue to accrue after maturity
or acceleration of this Agreement (and after any judgment) every day until you pay in full all amounts
due under this Agreement.”

Yes I borrowed from a company called SeedFi $2,000 on a plan to pay it off n continue to pay into a savings acct. Then they sold to SST. I have paid back the $2000 with Int. And don’t want to keep putting into the savings acct. I don’t owe them, the loan is paid with interest. And now they are charging me interest on the savings acct I don’t want. I sure my agreement with SeedFi said about the savings acct. but I don’t want it they have been paid back! Now there’s $90 in interest on a savings acct I don’t want. This is a scam to make money on the savings acct. interest!!!! They told me oh just pay it in n then will give it back WHAT!!! Now they have dinged my credit report with this stuff as delinquent… It’s crazyBusiness Response

There are missing payments to my loan. SST claims they can see the posted payments but they”cannot share” this information with me and are not able to provide me with a complete list of payments and current balance. I have gone over this information with my bank and the math does not add up. I called SST and escalated the problem to a supervisor named *********. Supervisor ********* and I compared every payment made by my bank (see attached bank printout). Supervisor ********* agreed there were payments that had not posted to my account with SST and the balance on the loan was not correct. I sent ********* information from my bank as requested, showing the money was taken out of my account. When I called back a week later, after this supposed “mistake” was going to be corrected, supervisor ********* stated his math was wrong when he talked to me an week earlier and there is nothing to correct. He is not “able” to provide any documentation showing all payments and current balance on the loan. I tried to call ****** by ******* ***** and they cannot talk to me because now SST is handling the account.Business Response

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the above-referenced complaint your office brought to our
attention. Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) is a loan servicing and payment
processing company that is committed to resolving customer service issues in a cooperative and
expeditious manner.
We’ve completed our review of the account in question and found the following:
On December 7, 2022, ***** **** signed an agreement for a ****** ** ******* ***** **** (“the
Contract”) financing $35,000.00. According to the Contract, *** **** agreed to make 36 monthly
payments of $1,129.18, beginning on January 7, 2023. On December 11, 2023, the Account was
assigned to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) for servicing.
At the time of servicing transfer, the Account had a balance of $22,303.20 and was due for the January
7, 2024 payment. Payments made with SST since the transfer are:
Date Payment Received Amount of Payment Type of Payment
1/7/24 $******** AutoDraft
3/7/24 $******** AutoDraft
Due to misinformation received during the transfer, some of the ******* payments were not reflected.
This issue was corrected by changing the due date. All payments received by SST have been properly
applied and the Account shows current and due for the April 7, 2024 payment of $1,129.18. SST is
unable to provide a payment history from the prior servicer. On March 1, 2024, *** **** was emailed
copies of statements she requested.Initial Complaint

I had a loan from ****** ** ******* ***** that was sold off to SST. I received an email from ********** today 3/12/2024, that in November of 2023, SST paid off the loan (to themselves) and there is a $0. balance. My credit has now taken another hit, showing a closed account to SST on February 18, 2022, and a second report on November 30, 2023, of a closed SST account with a $0. balance. Yet I am being billed by SST for my ****** ** ******* ***** loan amount of $410.33 per month. I do not understand as the reported information to the three credit bureaus shows the account in question was closed in BOTH February of 2022 and again in November of 2023. This negatively affected my credit score TWICE with TRANSUNION and will likely affect my ******* and ******** credit reports next. Lastly, the debt is NOT at $0. balance if SST currently bills me $410.33 per month!! SST should do better and must remain mindful and honest in reporting to credit bureaus as this impacts consumers heavily.Business Response

On April 4, 2022, ****** ***** signed an agreement for a ****** ** ******* ***** loan (“the

payments of $410.23, beginning on May 20, 2022.

accounts prior to the transfer.
At the time of servicing transfer, the Account had a balance of $13,245.34 and due for the December
20, 2023 payment. Four Autodraft payments have been made with SST since the transfer.
All payments have been applied and the Account shows current and due for the April 20, 2024
payment of $410.23.
The information *** ***** shared does not show the full tradeline names and account numbers.
Without that information it is difficult to provide a response. There are multiple possible explanations.
SST is the servicer for multiple different financial services providers. It is possible SST previously
serviced a different loan which was closed in 2022. Another possibility is due to the transfer of
servicing, she may see on her credit report the closing of the Goldman tradeline and a new tradeline for
SST. The Goldman tradeline will show a zero balance as they no longer service the Account. The
SST tradeline will reflect the remaining loan balance. The transfer itself should not cause any negative
marks in the reporting.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: on my credit report it shows two closed accounts. Yes, I did have another account that was closed in 2018 but on my credit report it does not show that it was closed by ******* *****, it shows that it was closed by SST! Thus, yet again, according to SST's response statement, it should not be showing SST it should be showing as Goldman Sachs closed that account in 2018. However, it does not. Lastly, on the second account the one that is open that I borrowed the $20,000 on, yes that one still has a balance so why is it reported zero balance closed on my credit report? If SST's response is that I'm curently paying on that account and it's active, why is it reported on my 3 credit bureau's accounts? Nothing in the SST response makes sense and it contradicts itself. I want my credit report fixed to represent FACTS not SST mistakes!!!

I paid off my borrow and grow loan that was originally with ******* but was transferred to SST at the end of 2022. The account was paid off today 3/7/24. I have approximately $2000 sitting in a savings account that is supposed to be returned to me. The original contract with ****** said the savings would be available immediately after the balance was paid in full. SST is stating it can take 22 business days to receive my savings, which is a violation of the original contract I signed. How can it take 15 business days to close an account and another 5 business days to issue a refund? They've violated my original contract and I want the $2000 that is owed to me. They say this cannot be expedited, but that cannot be true.Business Response

15 days to clear a payment is absurd. It's already cleared my bank. This company is very shady in their practices. When I called to find out why it would take almost a month to receive my funds, I was told they had no reason why, that's just the way it is. That is unacceptable.

About 2 years ago through a company called SeedFi at the time received a "savings account" Loan for $4000 where they gave me $1500 up front then I paid the remaining balance into an "account" that once paid off I would then have access to the remaining $2500. I have met my obligation and paid the loan of early because I needed the funds to pay for my mother's chemo as she is battling an aggressive form of cancer and now they are blowing me off and bouncing me around from rep to rep and not helping me. Its is truly upsetting that this company will harass you relentlessly if you even go a day missing a payment literally back to back calls 20-50 times a day but when you are asking your YOUR OWN MONEY THAT IS OWED TO YOU no one is home. I sent them bank statements proving the balance was paid off which is also reflected on their own website for my account. They just keep saying we sent it over and no one cares that someone's life is on the line. No one cares about helping people only what they can get out of you. These "savings" programs are scams. WHERE IS MY MONEY???? It's mine I paid it into an account and I should be able to access my funds.Business Response

My loan with ****** ******* ***** was transferred to SST. Since the transfer in late 2023, I have not been able to monitor, log in, see the status, or do anything with my loan. The website has been down for the past 4 months. Statement's that SST sends out are encrypted and requires a password to see the statement. As far as I know, I am paying SST and there's no way to see or track any of my payments because all SST online services do not work. I have not been able to log in to monitor my loan status since the transfer. SST has not been responsive or willing to solve the issue. I took out a loan with Seedfi/SST approximately 2 years ago. I have been making bi-weekly payments on this account. While I have had a couple of return payments since December 2023, I have been making constant payments bi-weekly - so to avoid being reported to the credit bureau and keeping the delinqency less than 30 days. I have since brought all payments current. However, i was notified by two credit bureaus that this is showing on my credit report as late. I would like this removed because it is impacting my job status.Business Response
