      The Genoa office processed my 2023 taxes and caused me to overpay thousands which I received back. I left a message for the preparer which was never returned. I went to the office in person where I was told it was my fault for not notifying them of prepaid taxes, and they would speak to the preparer and contact me in return. None of that happened and I'm still waiting 2 months later for an explanation.

      This so called business has been the worst experience I’ve ever gone through ?????? They don’t care about you ?? They made mistakes 3 years in a row ??that cost me thousands ?? they have 0 accountability, they make up their own rules to benefit and protect themselves ?? I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy ??

      If I could give zero stars, I would. My advisor FORGOT to include a W-2 of mine, which ended up putting me in a different tax bracket than what I should have been in, which led to me owing the IRS over $1000 in penalties and interest. I purchased the "peace of mind" that is meant to cover customers in these scenarios, but I have been waiting 8 months to receive the coverage I am owed. Now, I've just received a letter from the IRS stating that my debt is owed in 10 days. The past several months have been a NIGHTMARE. I will NEVER forgive this place for causing me so much anxiety. If Sheetal Hajare is ever offered as your advisor, you should definitely say no.

      Filed taxes with HR Block in 2021, which they messed up. Got a letter in July 2023 from the IRS telling me they might owe me money. Called HR Block, who agreed to file an amendment for free. In August 2023 they filed the amendment and told me it could be up to 16 weeks before the IRS processed it. When there was no movement on it after that time, I called again, and we discovered the HR Block tax preparer hadn't filed it because it turned out the IRS doesn't take electronic amendments and you have to mail it. Had an appt. in Dec. 2023 where they gave me a printout to file by mail, which I did. There continued to be no movement on the refund. I had follow-up appointments with HR Block in January, April, May, and August 2024. There is still no resolution, and HR Block told me to call the IRS myself—they aren't interesting in resolving the problem they created. In addition, they told me in August 2024 that I would receive a refund for the amount I paid for them to do my taxes in 2021, but it is now October 2024 and I have not seen a refund. NEVER USE HR BLOCK.

      Our tax preparer made a tax mistake due to Solar panels in 2020 and 2021. In 2023 we were informed that we owed the IRS almost 11,000 because she filed for the solar rebate twice. I was devasted. We paid the IRS the 11,000, but the IRS also charged us interest and I continue to fight H & R block for the refund of the interest we had to pay for their error. I am exhausted from fighting them for the interest refund. The IRS is satisfied that everything has been resolved, but I can't get our refund back. These people are not trained well and should not be dealing with people's taxes. Please do not use H & R block. If they make an error, it will take forever to get it resolved and if they owe you money, good luck!

      Terrible service. I will never use h & r block again. Very unprofessional instead of using the card they gave me they mailed my refund to the wrong address! They had to stop payment on that and 3 months later I’m still waiting for my refund! My suggestion is stay away from H&R Block!

      During the past few years my tax returns were prepared using the H&R Block tax program. in 2022 and 2023 my tax returns were flagged by the IRS, and I was assessed a penalty. As a result, I informed the H&R Block customer service team and requested that they correct the deficiency in their tax program. They responded by telling me that the problem was mine and refused to correct the errors in their tax program or apply the “money back guarantee” promise on their website. As a result, 2023 will be the last year I purchase and use the H&R block tax program.

      Unbelievably unprofessional. I paid for nothing and had to do my own taxes. I left after paying and they called me at home. I spent 2 hour on the phone with my "tax professional" Andrea who tried to talk me though filing online and never made it though. Never ever use these hacks.

      Unable to get customer support. I left numerous messages and haven't received any response. They haven't prepared my business taxes yet which are due in 3 weeks. I will never use this service again.
