    This company overcharges and locks you into a 3-year contract without warning you that you are responsible for paying 75% of the last third year if you cancel early. They claimed they were part of the package of my brand new, newly built house and we asked me out of thousands of dollars. The Skybell they installed in my brand new home 1.5 years ago is already obsolete and broken and they won’t replace it. Even before it broke the video was very poor quality and really not helpful. Whenever I wasn’t home if someone rang the doorbell it NEVER connected to the cellphone app. The cellphone app sometimes tells me I’ve left the door unlocked but when I check the door it’s actually locked. This company is a con AVOID

    Horrid customer service- safe haven came with our home and they take your complaint and will “ call you back.” They give you 24 hour window and most of us are not at our homes when they call back. It’s just ridiculous. I could not lock my door and the code stopped working and you couldn’t even get through to them.

    Absolute garbage app rendering it useless for a few $K in hardware plus monthly monitoring. The app is glitchy. Most service companies have some sort of satisfaction guarantee but NOPE. You’re locked in. Now we’re locked in for 36 months. I’m livid. I understand contractual obligations but any ethical business should at least have a satisfaction guarantee or trial window. It’s absurd this company is still in business given the large # of 1 stars. If you look on Google, it SAYS 4.8 stars which I went off of as a buyer….. but looking closely by date it’s single star after single star. DONT BUY THIS SYSTEM.

    If o could give this company no stars I would. Their representative came to my home unsolicited and sold me a 3 year contract with ADT and made me sign an egregious agreement which locks me in for 3 years. I called to adjust the contract and reduce some features and they flatly refused. They did not mention contract duration of 3 years and did not mention at all that there would be $1300 cancellation fee. I had thought and informed I was signing 1 year contract not 3. I contacted and informed them that they're representative was dishonest and refused to negotiate. This company needs to be deregistered as an honest business.

    Absolute nightmare to deal with. The whole management team is a joke and the whole company is disgusting. They are absolute scam artists and I thank god that I never bought from them. Horrible pushy sales reps and absolutely HORRIBLE and UNETHICAL sales tactics.

    I purchased a DR Horton home, which included the smart package with a three-year contract. The contract time has expired. Safe Haven sales representative Chance has been calling me non-stop. I finally answered. He asked if I had received any of his many emails. I said, What is this call about? He goes on to explain the options for the Home Connected System and ADT Security. He let me know that I had until the end of 7/3/24 to decide, and he will waive the $99 activation fee on the upgrade package, but you only have until 5 p.m. today since tomorrow is the 4th of July and I’ll be at the lake. On Monday morning, he calls three times back-to-back. Later that afternoon, I let him know that I would not be signing up for their services and requested that he release my IQ panel from Alarm.com so I could register the serial number and self-monitor my smart home system. Now, all of a sudden, I am not getting a returned call or email reply. Safe Haven was the contractor charged with setting up the smart home features, so they would need to release the IQ panel from Alarm.com. They have refused to release the IQ panel. Unregister my panel!

    Called several times to get assistance to help fix my security system. Tech support unable to help says need service call. Now they want a trip payment for something tech support says the can't do over phone

    If 0 was an option I'd choose that. My grandmother who is 90 and on a fixed income had gotten a system set up in our new house. We do not have Internet and we were told by the installer that it would not work unless we have Internet and he'll come back out in a week. A week goes by he comes back and we need it cancelled so he tells us he'll let them know we need it cancelled. We called and were met with a very unprofessional supervisor, she says we had three days to cancel which we were never notified of and says we have to pay for the services ($1,000+) that we were told weren't set up because of said Internet issue. The supervisor had paused and acted like she didn't hear most of what my grandmother had said which led my grandmother to an anxiety attack which again is 90. I have expected more from a security system business and I am greatly disappointed in the personnel and their unwillingness to try to fix the problem.

    I called Safe Haven to report a issue with front door bell camera. They did some trouble shooting and said they need to send out a tech to replace door bell Back plate. good news its covered under warranty. but it will cost me 60 dollar service charge. i went on line and part cost 4.99. When I asked to speak to supervisor or manager I was told they don't want to talk to me. Don't go with these people they are the worse company ever

    Buyer beware! They are not ADT and you will not get ADT service. I am beyond frustrated with Safehaven. We recently moved into a new home and needed to transfer security. We have been ADT customer for 10+ years and no issues…until now. My real estate agent gave me a referral to help with the setup. All was fine. Then comes the install day. Most of what was “promised” could not be done. We called them back and this is where the deceit comes in play. “Because you are not using the above items, we will give you shock sensors in place of them.” 6 sensors “promised”. I was also told the install fee would not be the $349, $170 would be credited. Install day comes and things are installed. Still assuming we are getting what I was “promised” (of course NONE of this is in writing. After the tech left the approx $2K did not sit well with me so I went back to my notes. Now to the lies and fake promises. I call and call, finally speaking to a manager that just wants to tell me “how things work”. I know how they work, I know that it’s not one for one apples to swap, BUT, this is what you, on 2 different occasions, told me I would get! THEIR miscommunication. How far do I have to escalate this for SOMEONE to listen to ME, the customer. They pass the buck to the install guy, he tells me to escalate to another manager that he cannot help. I call back to get a very long, understanding lady named Steph. The only one who took any consideration for the customer. She cant make any adjustments. I really just want all this crap gone. Even if I tried to cancel within 3 days, they will say no you didn’t. They will tell you one thing and then run in circles. All I want is credit for what I was not supposed to be charged for. Look at the reviews of this place. They are terrible. They need training on how to communicate to their customers. ADT, this is a poor reflection on you as well. Asked for upper mgmt to contact me twice.Do you really think anyone cares? No call back.
