    My realtor referred me to Safe Haven and I wish I never would have taken her up on the offer. At first, ******************************* was emailing me seemingly interested in making sure that we made an appointment to review the options for protecting our new home. When ******** finally called, she went over the products but not in full detail enough to let me know that it would not be ****** offerings as I had mentioned and been seeing them in the neighborhood and that is what I was interested in.When the **** Service agent came, he was friendly but also doing way too much. He tried to get us to finance things and we did not want to since we just bought a home. We ended up having to get on the phone with the Sales Representative and her manager to figure out what services we needed. We were supposed to get Video and was under the impression that we would be getting a key lock as well. On the phone, they made us pay MORE money upfront $180 to add on the lock and stated I would get a check in the mail. I only agreed because I was already frustrated and wanted the **** Service Agent out of our home.Even though we paid the $180 up front, the representative did NOT have the lock on them and had to schedule another call. Then on top of that, I was told that services would not charge until after 30 days after installation. It turns out that we got charged immediately for the Services.Now I have been trying to call ******************************* ALL morning and no response. I had to text her on the personal cell phone number. She called me on her cell and stated she would return my call but it has been a few hours now and that does not work for me. If I have read reviews first, I would not have come close to getting this product. I would have went through ADT directly. Case # ******** Then I tried to connect with **************** and I was unable to get connected to ******** directly or her manager. ***** kept talking over top me.     Its upsetting to read all these horrible reviews that customers have said about Safe Haven Security Services. While I also feel for the dissatisfied customers I want to leave my review about my EXCELLENT experience and service with them.Its unfortunate that reviews (mostly bad) are posted on BBB pages to bash a company & complain about the experience or service received. Customers tend to write a review about a company ONLY when they receive a bad service. Very seldom that someone would post a good review. I for one would like to change that.I purchased a home over 2 years ago & soon after moving in a relocation manager knocked on my door and that same day I got everything installed. I didnt have to pay a dime for any of the equipment or any install fee, everything was waived other than my activation fee of $200, which I much rather pay that versus paying over $3000 for my equipment and install fee. With the 2 years Ive had them Ive only experienced ONE problem, which was an easy fix. Window sensor fell off, I made a call and that same day a technician came out and replaced it for $0. Ive referred my relocation manager to several other people, **************** & I have not had any of them tell me anything bad about their experience or service with Safe Haven.I would HIGHLY recommend Safe Haven to other people. Also, keep in mind that there are SEVERAL locations/branches for Safe Haven in ***************** and for those that have had a bad experience with Safe Haven might be an isolated incident for that specific branch.

    I am writing to file a complaint against SafeHaven Security due to their unethical practices and unsatisfactory service. The details of my complaint are as follows:SafeHaven Security (this is is in **) overcharged ** for security services that repeatedly fell off our door. Despite paying for their services, we did not receive the expected level of security.Furthermore, the fire alarm installed by SafeHaven Security was excessively sensitive, triggering false alarms from regular bathroom steam. This almost led to unnecessary fire department dispatches, causing distress and potential waste of resources.When we requested removal of the fire alarm, the technician rushed through the job without even turning off his truck. He negligently broke one of our windows while hastily removing the security equipment.Initially, the technician promised to pay for the window repair and requested a quote. However, upon receiving the quote, he complained about the price and vowed to reduce it by half. After three days of failed communication, he finally responded, offering to fix the window himself. We insisted on hiring a professional and escalated the issue to his supervisor.To resolve the matter, we were asked to obtain two additional quotes, further prolonging the process. It took over a month to have our window repaired, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience.Considering our experience, I strongly discourage others from using SafeHaven Security and advise opting for ADT or a reputable direct service provider. SafeHaven Security's predatory sales tactics, along with their failure to deliver satisfactory service and address customer concerns, demonstrate their lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. If I could give it zero stars I would.

    If I could give less than a star I would. This company is a scam. My ex-husband convinced me we needed a system for him to do his job (he was working for Safe Haven) and that all the cost would come out of his paycheck. The system was installed. Its never worked properly. He ended up cheating, lying, and couldnt keep a job for more than a month or two so he quit. We are now going through a divorce and I am stuck paying for a system that doesnt work. He has changed all the information and passwords so I cant even access it. Hes going back to work for Safe Haven (they clearly hold high standards for employment ??), so Ive had to unplug my system entirely to ensure he is not able to check my cameras or mess with the unit thats in my home. I cant get out of the ** contract that I never wanted to be a part of to begin with. So now Im stuck with a system that doesnt work and even if it did I would be opening me and my son up to having my ex spy on ** whenever he felt like it. *** watched behind the scenes and these salesman straight up lie to you. They claim to not be a salesman but a relocation manager which is **. They are a salesman. They make commission only. They will scam you and your entire family to make a dollar. Dont fall for it.

    ADT corporate tried to charge me $900 up front for for my equipment and a 5 year contract to finance it, ***** my sales rep came out as part of a new home owner program and was able to give me all of the equipment at no cost. My system works great and I had one problem with my doorbell camera they came right back out and didn't charge me a thing. I don't know what all these other bad reviews are about, I've had an amazing experience.

    I called the number in my contract to canceled all services in the 3 business day grace ******* I called safe haven on the 05/08/23 and I had to leave a message. I received a call back on the 05/09/23. I was finally able to speak with someone that time.Between 05/02/23 and 05/08/23 I had to reschedule my new security provider two times because Safe Haven didnt call me in 24 hours to schedule a technician to come out and uninstall the equipment. Finally I had enough I am a combat veteran and I get very at ease when I cant see around my resting space. I also get worried working 12 hours shifts with my family home alone. So I uninstalled the equipment my self because my new security provider wouldnt install with out Safe Haven uninstalling.After finally speaking with someone in the 05/09/23 on a call back. They scheduled a technician to pick up the equipment on 05/10/23. The customer service representative said we would have gotten our refund in 7 days $1,517.90.7 days went by and I havent seen a refund or heard anything from Safe Haven. I called and was able to speak with 3 different customer service representatives with the third one finally being able to tell me my refund was denied by a supervisor because I uninstalled the equipment my self and a window sensor is broke and the smoke alarm some how broke. I asked to speak to the supervisor and of course I had to wait 24 hours to speak with him.The supervisor *************************** called me 05/18/2023 at 4:24pm. ************** stated I would not receive a refund because I uninstalled the sensors and a clip broke in 3 of the sensors, and the smoke detector is broken. I mentioned to ************** that sensor were free for me because *************** purchased some of the equipment for the house and I shouldnt be charged $1,517.90 for it. He stated thats irrelevant because I uninstalled it myself. I asked to speak with his boss and of course I have to wait 24hrs. I WILL UPDATE THIS AS IM UPDATED ON MY $1,517.90 REFUND.

    Would give zero stars if possible. Weve been dealing with these people for about a year and a half. These people are crooked and straight up thieves. At my first home we were told that getting safe haven would lower our insurance so we gave it a shot. The install was incomplete then another tech came in and put holes in my walls, I was willing to overlook that but couldnt look past the fact that my system did not work and at one point stopped recording completely. Then I was told it would be $60 to have a tech come out and I refused as we were moving soon, at this point we had the system for 13 months and had a working system for about 10 days out of those 13 months. We had talked to Veterans united about these issues because they are who recommended the system, they escalated ** to a gentleman named ***, we just wanted out of the contract that we were unaware we signed. *** begged and pleaded to give them another chance so we did. We had a pushy salesman, he installed 3 smoke detectors and I was lacking an outdoor camera, a doorbell camera a door lock and 2 glass break sensors. The salesman had done his paperwork and showed everything as completed and installed and never showed up to the appointment he set to finish the install. We went back to **** and told him we wanted to dissolve our contract completely and he said we just had buyers remorse and we got escalated to **** who is national director who oversees the affiliate division. **** agreed to let us out of the contract with no penalty. 3 months later and Im still getting billed for 2 systems that I dont have, one being $72 monthly and one at $78 monthly, I called and had my card removed and verified that my service was completely disconnected. Now I have a charge of $1,078.92. I removed my card on file and they still used it to charge my account. Which is theft. I called in and they verified my card was removed but couldnt tell me how I was still charged. Biggest scam Ive ever dealt with.

    If I could give less than 1 star here, I would. Most of our complaints are the same as the other 1 star reviews. Installation of basic security package was an incentive when we closed on our new house. ADT itself has great ratings so we decided to take the incentive and get the basic security package installed for free. My partner dealt with the sales person prior to installation via phone. As someone who works in sales himself, he noted time and again how awful this individual was at his job- constantly just repeating a script and incapable of answering the simplest of questions. Once the system was installed, we were bombarded with information on how we could make the house more secure and we should do it now to save money. We declined, but were made to sign something on the spot on an iPad without being given a chance to fully review what we were signing. That signature was used to lock ** into a 3 year contract we were not made aware of. Since then the customer service has been atrocious- they won't let you back out of the contract without paying a penalty which is the same amount as the remainder of the contract- $60 x remaining months on your contract. They will not work with you at all to rectify the mistakes they made prior by not being transparent. Now, 9 months into our contract, the equipment is faulty and sensors are not being recognized by the system anymore. We called to have it fixed. The result: we can be charged $60 to have a technician come out and repair the faulty product, or we can bring it to them which will void the warranty and they'll penalize ** by charging ** $80. So now we are stuck with a security system that doesn't work, a $60/month bill and no resolution in sight. I am surprised I don't yet see a class action lawsuit against this sham of a business. As someone who has been through trauma and simply wants to feel safe in their own home, Safe Haven constantly makes me feel unsafe and unsupported.

    My wife and I recently bought a house in ************, ** and wanted to ensure it was secure. We purchased ADT and had a person come out and install it. ************************* came out and was extremely helpful, friendly and informative on exactly what we purchased. He walked us through how to use these devices. Overall the experience was incredible, and if anyone in the ************ area gets ***** as a representative just know you are in good hands.

    Profoundly negative experience beginning with the sales team. I just recently bought my home and they misrepresented themselves as following up on a credit from Closing. To the extent of saying things like they didnt explain this at closing? Of course not - because it had nothing to do with closing, other than that being part of the public record. They did not explain the 3 yr contract at sales. The install person who arrived spent nearly 5 hours in my home only to install the wall panel and fail to successfully map 1 door sensor. Most of the time in my home was spent playing games with his manager on the phone over how many sensors and what the price would be. The rep wrote up a whole paper, told me to sign by decline and watch how they bring these prices down. Why? Thats a waste of everyones time. I asked him to leave after 5 hrs and began the cancelation process that evening. WARNING - canceling with Safe Haven does not cancel you with ADT! You have to call them separately to cancel your monthly subscription. How this company has an A+ rating is beyond me. My experience doesnt meet the legal standard for Deceitful Business Practices, but it certainly was distasteful. Would not recommend.
