      Strongly strongly do not recommend these services. My nephew was getting "help" with a subject. His letter grade did not improve. In addition, we found that 6 months of services went unused and we were still being charged almost $500 a month. ZERO SERVICES for almost $3,000. So we paid thousands for literally nothing and are stuck in a year contract (regardless of the fact that this isn't working).No notices, no access to the portal for the adult. This requires a lot of supervision by the adult, or a lot of self-management from the student. This is not what we were promised. We were promised a dedicated team-member to oversee his work, and we were promised a bump in his letter grade. I don't see who this benefits at this cost. We are stuck in a year membership, can't pause it, can't adjust it, so are literally just paying thousands. THERE ARE BETTER TUTORING SERVICES OUT THERE. Wish we went with a different company. We will pay around $6,000 with no advancement in academics. Letter grade stayed the same, no increase in learning, study skills, prep.I believe the customer service might be outsourced because we get very boilerplate responses when we have issues. Nothing is responded with certainty or specific answers. Below is the exact verbiage when I brought up the costs. But no notes were added to our account. No matter was taken "cared" of."*****, I can confirm that one of our ************** Representative has taken cared of this matter and necessary notations has been already added on you account. "

      Varsity Tutors has been wonderful to work with! Their tutors are amazing and unlimited classes are a great tool! Highly recommend this company!

      This Tutoring App is The Best! It has helped my son learn all of the algebra 1 concepts in 7 grade and so he skipped a grade!

      I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with Varsity Tutors, which was marred by miscommunication, unfulfilled promises, and unauthorized charges.Back in August, I reached out to Varsity Tutors in search of a tutor for my nephew. I spoke with a consultant named ******, who assured me that they had experienced tutors. Given our past experiences, I expressed my desire to try a single session before committing to any long-term plans.****** called back later that day, offering a customized deal: 2 hours of tutoring for $182. She made it clear this was a one-time arrangement, giving me the space to evaluate their services without the pressure of a recurring charge. I appreciated this gesture and agreed to the terms, making it explicit that I was the aunt and this was a trial before possibly involving the parents.Fast forward to a month later, I was shocked to discover a charge of $182 from Varsity Tutors on my bank statement for the month of September. When I called to clarify, I was told by a person named ** that I was on a month-to-month plana plan I never agreed to. After several calls, and promises of a manager reaching out which never happened, I was eventually told they would issue a refund, only to receive an email later stating I was not eligible.This entire ordeal has left me frustrated and betrayed, leading me to seek legal actions to resolve this matter. The blatant disregard for clear communication and accountability is unbecoming of an educational institution.I hope this review serves as a ***** warning for others to get all terms in writing and remain vigilant about unauthorized charges. The lack of transparency and accountability I experienced with Varsity Tutors is unacceptable, and no one should have to go through this hassle.

      Varsity Tutors is a SCAM! Do NOT sign up for this. Use a local ACT or test prep person to help your child. This is an internet fraud company. They sign you up for a monthly membership without telling you. You go in only wanting a few sessions then they keep charging you premium monthly rates for months. They make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel or have any charges reversed that you didnt approve. STAY away. Never again. I will tell everyone I know that its a fraud. The sessions we did have were a waste of time!!!

      We have been using this tutoring group for my daughter for years, shes in high school now and with the tutoring help at her strange schedule due to band , this group has been able to meet at late hours like 8 pm , it has been so helpful for her, we love varsity tutors.

      Very happy with Varsity tutors. The tutors are exceptional and care about their clients. We saw results immediately especially in my daughters algebra exams.

      While the tutors are ************* have some that would cancel last minute and I wouldnt find out till 30 minutes later with constant calls to varsity tutors. **************** is excellent and will help you in any way they can. Wi-Fi issues as well. If someone on either side has Wi-Fi issues, the audio and video would not work.

      Varsity Tutors has been the answers for my sons I have been looking for. I have tried tutors in my neighborhood but it wasnt until we started with VT that we finally are seeing our boys excel. The amount of time they take to call you to understand exactly what you are needing in a tutor and then they locate the perfect one for your childs needs. Both my boys have separate tutors and in different areas of learning too and this has truly been an answer to prayers. We love our Tutors and we love Varisty Tutor for truly investing in my boys and finding them the perfect tutors!Thank you Varsity Tutors. If anyone is looking for an amazing company with amazing tutors please contact them!
