      VT is a great platform for learning foreign languages. I have received one-on-one tutoring in Russian as well as group classes in Spanish and Korean. My ******************* is very knowledgable and is a fine instructor. If you are dissatisfied, they will always find you a suitable tutor. The service is somewhat expensive, but if you take many courses it is more than worth the money. I would highly recommend ** for anyone who wants to learn a foreign language.

      My son is a college freshman student athlete and Varsity Tutors saved the day by finding a **************** tutor to not only help him pass the class but get an 84% on his final exam. The tutor was available in the evenings when my son was ready to study after practice. I highly recommend them to any college student who is struggling their first semester or with rigorous classes.

      Varsity Tutors is worth every *****!!! I had been studying Japanese for two years by myself and really didnt get anywhere! It wasnt until I stumbled upon this site that I was able to actually start understanding Japanese! Having someone who is knowledgeable about the language/subject is instrumental to understanding and learning anything and Varsity Tutors does that with aplomb! Their system is easy to use, they have lots of knowledgeable tutors about a myriad of subjects! I recommend them to anyone whos looking for a tutor!!

      I cancelled membership on last day of tutoring cycle. But they charged me for next month of cycle on the same day without reimbursement.

      We have used varsity tutors several times over the years when our student needed some extra one on one attention to pass a complicated class. Well worth the money! They are fabulous

      This company is a total scam. While they did provide the agreed upon tutoring, cancelling the tutoring is a nightmare. I was charged $649 on three separate occasions--without my permission and after "cancelling." There is not an option to cancel within your online account so, of course, they make you call in so they can try to get you not to cancel. Cancelling over the phone did nothing, instead they kept charging my credit card. So then, more phone calls and emails were required on my end. For one of the three unauthorized charges, they initially refused to refund. My recommendation is that all communication with them be in writing as they are not to be trusted. They don't provide receipts unless requested and it takes multiple phone calls and emails to get just one receipt. Why not just have receipts available in the online account? Or email then upon the charge?The bottom line? Just don't waste your time with Varsity Tutors. There are other more reputable, less costly, less frustrating tutoring programs.

      My daughter is a College Freshman working towards a Biology Major. She was struggling with Chemistry so we signed her up with Varsity Tutors. Up to that point, she had failed every single quiz and test although she was passing labs and homework. After just 2 sessions with Varsity Tutors, she passed her next test with 92%. Midway through our first month, the tutor quit Varsity Tutors and there was a delay in reassigning a new tutor. We were stressed as finals were approaching. Varsity Tutors made it right by giving us free sessions and the tutor she is working with now has turned out to be such a help. She just got her end of semester grade and she passed! Complaints would be it is very hard to get live help when you have problems. I had taken screen shots of all sign up commitments and phone numbers which I was able to use to backtrack and get help.

      Great virtual tutoring. Used for my elementary and middle school kids on school subjects that needed extra attention as well as fun/optional learning like languages and writing for fun. The tutor matching process has also been successful, and each tutor tailored the lessons to the specific characteristic of each kid and depth of knowledge on the subject. Have used them for a few years now and the experience has been great. Highly recommend!
