      I have been very happy with the tutors my daughter has had so far. Weve had two different ones since we started with Varsity. They are always very knowledgeable, helpful and engaging with my ASD/ADHD 11 year old child. The only thing I would add for them to pay closer attention to is the tech side of the video chats. Weve had a few situations where we couldnt connect or had to get tech services to get involved. In all instances, Varsity has accommodated us by not deducting hours for the missed sessions, which I appreciate and value. I just hope that they will iron this out better for the students and parents who make the time to be on time and then just wait, or have trouble getting connected. The sessions are valuable and it would make this service have 5 stars instead of 4! Please work on this to help these children who dont have much attention span as it is. Thank you for providing service across the country at our availability.

      Varsity tutors is great. Scheduling is so easy. **************** is very responsive. Tutoring can be done from the comfort of your own home on your schedule. We have worked with two different tutors and their style worked well with my son and it really supported his success. I highly recommend!

      Varsity Tutors is an amazing place to go for educational advancement! My 6-year-old son struggled with reading and was below grade level by at least 1 grade. Now he is at grade level in many areas! In just a couple of months, he went from knowing 3 sight words to knowing 101! I am really glad I went with Varsity Tutors.

      Varsity tutors has been a saving ***** for my daughter who is studying in French full time in elementary school as an anglophone. With the challenges faced by the teachers and assistants recently through the pandemic and now with an overbearing workload, it means that my daughter has less one on one assistance. Varsity tutors is an investment in education and assures that my daughter gets an undivided attention and private instruction and ensures that my daughter wont slip through the cracks as she has very important ministerial exams approaching.

      Varsity tutors has been an amazing resource for my daughter in an accelerated nursing program. The customer service is extremely helpful and her tutor has been invaluable. She is helping my daughter succeed in a very demanding program. I highly recommend Varsity Tutors.

      Weve had a great experience with Varsity. I was recommended to check them out by a friend (kindergarten teacher) who has used varsity for a couple years. From when I filled out an inquiry to when we got assigned a tutor was a breeze. Follow up by varsity was really great and not ****** pushy. If this review was just for our ************************, this would be a 10 star review. ***** is the perfect balance of someone who is encouraging, while also being strict enough to produce results. Im knocking off a star because for our first two billing cycles, we were overcharged an hour each time and the standard policy isnt to issue a refund but instead to give you another hour to use. The first time, I called and I was advised to accept the hour but the second time, my husband called, he got the refund. Im a pretty assertive person and my husband is actually the opposite but I think this may have been an instance of they just took him more seriously, which isnt great, but hey, at least I got the refund. Were still not entirely confident the billing situation is fixed and will have to pay attention to each billing cycle, but even with that inconvenience, ***** is too great to give up. My kid looks forward to tutoring, has been improving in school, and actually isnt just memorizing the skills but learning the concepts.

      VT is the most frustrating company to work with. If I could get my money back, I would! Each time I call them to get information on my account and the tutor hours I have left for my pass guarantee, they give me the complete run around!! Not only is this frustrating, this whole s*** show only makes me more stressed out about passing my SIE. I will NEVER recommend them to ANYONE! WORST customer support EVER!

      Both of my sons have utilized Varsity Tutors with stellar results! My son was having intense anxiety over his organic chemistry class in college. The material was just not getting through. We hired Varsity Tutors and they instantly found him a fantastic tutor! This tutor was able to connect with him and explain the material in a way he could understand, The tutor cut through all of the confusing elements of the course and showed him the most important key points to understand. My son not only passed but went on to excel in Organic Chemistry 2 because of Varsity Tutors. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

      We have been consumers of Varsity Tutors since our son was 6th grade and he is now in his second year of college. Due to our longevity and loyalty Varsity agreed to continue to give us the friends and family rate of $35.00 per hour even though the company made changes to their platform. Varsity changed to a fee per month with a certain amount of given tutoring hours per month when in the past it was buy a package and if you run out you buy more. I loved that set up better because I spent what we could afford. We have been over charged several times this year for example $3,000.00 was withdrawn from our account and it was the wrong amount. They repaid the over $1,000.00 withdrawn. We keep getting billed wrong amounts that has been successfully withdrawn from our account. It is burdensome having to chase Varsity billing. It happened again in August 2023 and I got a call asking if I liked the new service and I said no. Your billing is not sufficient. I don't know how much money we are spending until charged. They told me others complain. I was told for our inconvenience we wouldn't be charged for September and October. We would get a new start in November with Friends and family rate. I got another bill and spoke to the higher *** and explained past history, they said they were going to take my Friends and family from us after stating that they wouldn't. They also offered us a one time only package of $35.00 an hour. We recently got a $6,000.00 tutoring bill that is wrong. I am tired of the scary huge withdrawals. I called to inquire about this astronomical bill and they said they were charging us for October and November. It's wrong! This bill has not been resolved. You can only view your hours used, not cost. The billing is suspicious. They do not honor their word. They told us we would always have the Friends and family rate and they took it from us. That is not fair! We have spent tens of thousands of dollars with this company. Where's the trust? *********************
