I rented a car from this company from December 26 to January 1. I was supposed to arrive at Miami airport around 5:00. My plane was delayed, so I called them and told them I wouldn't be in until 8:00.I got to the airport, and they said that I had missed my appointment, which was not refundable. They had a car there but were unwilling to give it to me or refund me because I was late. So now I am on vacation with no car, and I am out $315

They gave me a dirty car, inside was a mess, they didn't returned me the $200 of security deposit, they charged me $520 because they said the air filter changed the color so I told them that they didn't show me the filter before I left from the place etc so they fabricated everything to stole the $520 from me.

I rented a vehicle from the Orlando location on December 3. I was told on booking that the pickup location was onsite. I am missing my right leg below the knee and was in town to have legs made. After hobbling down both ends of MCO I was told that I needed to catch a shuttle to the location which I did, but it was not very accessible for me and difficult to maneuver. I got to the location and they are in no way ADA compliant with foot high curbs which were difficult to navigate with all of my luggage. Upon entering g the door kept shutting on me and knocking me down. No one offered to help. After getting to the front desk I was told that I was required to purchase their insurance. I had read the fine print that stated they would verify my personal insurance first and as long as it was verifiable with the correct deductible I did not have to buy next cars insurance. They never took my insurance documents, just told me everyone was required to buy the insurance. It cost me $280 over top of the pre paid amount I had already paid. I was aware I would have a deposit because I was paying with debit, which per the fine print was acceptable. I was then directed to a vehicle out in a parking lot far from the building. No one offered to help me with my luggage or accessing the vehicle which was difficult with my disability.I made the initial complaint on 12/12. I was told I would get resolution in 48 hours. I never heard anything. A week later on 12/18 I called to check on the complaint and was told it was re-sent on 12/17 and would get resolution in 48 hours. Today I called and was told the complaint was not received.

December 8, 2023, I was required to pay $149.50 to NextCar rental for previously undisclosed insurance requirements. I paid ********* for the rental, and only when I arrived was I told my ********* insurance was not good enough that I needed 300,00 limits. We were only told that we needed our declarations page, with no mention of deductible level requirements or liability requirements. If I had met those parameters, the bar would have been raised. I believe it was and is their intention to bait people into a cheap rate and make it up with a mandatory predatory action by requiring their insurance. The guy ahead of me was forced to take the insurance due to a high deductible. I want my money back.

First tried to make reservation on their app. After giving my cc info, a popup said the order did not go through. So I made the reservation online. When I noticed there were two charges, I called NextCar and was reassured the extra payment would be refunded. 2 weeks later. I pick up the rental and mention that the refund was not received. 2 weeks later I return the rental and mentioned the refund had not been received. I called again after returning home and was told the credit had been issued but the refund did not go through. The person I spoke with sent an email to the accounting office and cc'd to me, to make the refund. Nearly a month later I have sent several emails asking for an update on the refund without receiving a reply from them. I want my refund in full!

In June I rented a car from priceless to be picked up nov 8 at ***********************. I called the day before to know where to get the shuttle. Was told go to their counter and they would call shuttle. There was no counter but did find shuttle. Several people piled in. Got to rental. Looked like a dirty garage. Was told I needed $500,000 car insurance with paper proof. I've rented before in ******* and have ny insurance so I'm covered. Brought my ez pass to use. Was told I had to pay $300 for insurance and $30 a day for sun pass. No where on their website does this say that I need this. The employee was rude to me told me to f##k myself! I told him he is a scam and I wanted a refund because they were not trustworthy. Every person that took that shuttle there with me also canceled because of the scam. We went back to airport and rented elsewhere. I was told to call ************ for my refund. I did and again got the run around. Had to call someone else they said no refund. My confirmation #PRWEP10248892 reference # ******. I now read reviews of this place and others said they are a scam. Someone needs to shut them down! Please do something.

Next Car Rental of Tallahassee is a partner of *********. This rental car company is ghetto, shady, and unprofessional. I made a reservation for the November 2nd, and I made my first complaint on November 4th. I complained to ********* that the car was dirty, the tire pressure was extremely off (which caused me to waste money on unnecessary gas), the car shakes and vibrates terribly when I come to a quick stop, and I've had to pull outside the white lines in order to not hit someone in front of me. The window rattles louder than the music when you turn the music up, the trunk wouldn't open twice, so I called the rental car company to get the insurance information so I can have them take a look at the trunk, and they declined my request. I am now here stuck at a truck stop with no solution, no more funds left for a hotel or food, and no explanation or compensation regarding this nightmare of an experience. I have called price line and the rental car company to report these issues at least 20 times since November 4th, and as a Veteran I've been treated with nothing but disrespect, rudeness, and unprofessionalism. I've also had to check myself into the hospital twice due mental break downs caused by this horrible experience. I've cried, I've tried, and I've b en patient and no one has given me a refund or explanation on this issue. I rented the car from Florida and now I'm stranded here at a truck stop in Colorado. I guess they towed the car, but it has all of my possessions in it, and as a Veteran who has severed this country, I feel disrespected, ignored, bullied, and scammed.

I'm still here stranded at a truck stop in Colorado for the 6th day, without medication, my office equipment, my personal belongings, food, or an explanation on why they are able to continue to overdraft my account, when the services were not rendered.

My husband *********************** and I rented a vehicle for our trip to our family home in Boyton Beach FL. The initial booking was done through ******* for a cost listed as $300 for Oct 30-Nov 9/23. We declined the insurance on ******* website as we have rental car insurance through both our personal insurance and work benefits. When we arrived to ********* Car Rental in Fort Lauderdale to pick up the car rental agreement #***** the rental price ballooned to and additional $450. The agent stated that it was state law that we could not decline their insurance as the state only accepts US insurance providers. I tried to explain this is false as my brother was able to decline the rental insurance last winter when he rented a vehicle from another agency in Florida. The clerk was insistent that we had to take the insurance which was $300. Then the clerk added another $150 for an epass. I explained we have a family home in FL and have a Sunpass transponder, so don't need their epass. The clerk said this again was a mandatory charge, although their website states differently. We spoke to two different clerks about these fraudulent charges and both insisted they were mandatory. Additionally, in regards to the actual car, the clerk advised the gas tank was just slightly below full and to return it to the same. The tank was actually just one tick above 3/4 full. I mention this as they have a surcharge listed on their paperwork that if a client does not bring the car back at the level they reported they will automatically charge your credit card. The vehicle was in very poor condition, dirty windows and interior, dents and damage all around it and after driving it on the highway it was very clear there is some mechanical issue going on. Without benefit of an inspection we can only guess at a wheel bearing issue. This company is clearly operating using fraudulent, misleading and predatory practices. We have also filed a complaint with ******* who should not be promoting this business.

In your online agreement, you DO NOT call out specific companies to which you are asking for proof of insurance. When I picked up my vehicle I was told even though I had my declaration page in hand I had to pay for the insurance -The online agreement states - RENTER QUALIFICATIONSA valid US or international driver's license is required at the time of pickup. An international license must accompany a valid national license. All renters must have verifiable collision coverage for the rented vehicle. The most common method of providing collision coverage is through the renter's personal or commercial auto insurance policy shown on the declaration page. Another common method of providing verifiable collision coverage is through auto rental damage benefits provided by a credit card issuer upon presentation of proof of coverage policy. When the renter's credit card does not provide benefits for damage to the rental car because the vehicle is "excluded", the insurance verification process must be completed to confirm the coverage of the rental vehicle, including, but not limited to, that the deductible of renters insurance does not exceed $500. Renters may choose to purchase the optional Collision Damage Waiver, if available where they intend to rent the Priceless vehicle.Remember no credit card provides SLI damages to third parties due to collision.Nothing in here calls out specific companies but the board inside the rental office specifically lists out a couple of specific companies BAIT AND SWITCH - protected by law and is ILLEGAL!

I had a rental scheduled for ********* and upon entering the car rental desk they pulled a bait and switch for the insurance policies. ON the website there is NO explanation of specific companies which they will accept for insurance. When you go into the rental desk they point to a sign attached and say only these companies will be accepted for insurance and no others per the sign and website. The additional rental insurance was more than the rental of vehicle itself. Please see below the rental cost and additional insurance cost. I'm willing to pay for the car rental but not for the additional mandated insurance. I would also like to protect those others who have been mislead by this company.

I rented a car from Priceless Car Rental via *********.com. The confirmation# was *************. The car was scheduled to be picked up on Aug 11 and returned on Aug 21. When I picked up my car at the *** (*********** airport) pickup location on Aug 11, I was charged an additional $59.32 because I  I didn’t pick up the car on the exact time. When I booked the car, I didn’t see any policy indicating this kind of charge for picking up late. I asked the service personnel over the counter to show me the policy, but she couldn’t find it. She insisted that we need to pay the fee, otherwise we wouldn’t get the car. With our tight travel schedule and a lot of customers in line behind us, this left us no choice but to pay the fee. However, I don’t think this fee is reasonable. According to the policy, we would need to pay the rental fee even if we didn’t show up. Theoretically we have already paid for owning the car for a period of time (11 days in my case), so it shouldn't matter if we pick up the car or not, let alone on time? It’s normal for flights to get delayed or canceled, thus making the customers pickup their car late. It’s not fair for a company to expect all customers to be exactly on-time and I hope I can get my $59.32 back. I filed a complain on their website on Sep 27. Although on their website, they said I would get response within 24 hours, I don't get any feedback from them as of Oct 2. I request the company take my case seriously, not just paying me back, but also avoiding the same overcharge happening in future to other costumers. Also they should establish their SOP to process the customer feedback promptly. Thank you very much.
