I reserved a reservation for a compact vehicle on Saturday November 19th 2022 through the 3rd party *******. I went to pick up my vehicle at ************************* Orlando Florida. When I spoke to the employees they told me I owed all of these fees for insurance (which was over 500 and some change). They stated that they didn't accept my insurance policy. They I told them I was not paying the 500 fee they told me I was able to provide my insurance policy to them it would only be 400 and some change fee. I felt as if they were trying to strong arm me into all of the fees because after saying multiple times I would not pay their fee they would continue to lower the fee. After speaking with them for multiple minutes I told them to forget about the rental because it did not feel transaction. I am requesting a refund of 98.90 due to Next car for trying to deceive me into fees, and trying to manipulate the situation in getting a different amount of fees for me to just accept their car rental.Initial Complaint

I have been going to Los Angeles for dental treatments for the past year. Each time I arrive I usually rent a car. I rented a car from Next Car Rentals on 11/16/22-11/24/22 it was a ****** ****** black for $842.00. The price quote was $210.00 for 11/16-11/21. It took 2+ hours to get the car. Which did not come with a full tank of gas. I made sure to fill the gas tank to full before returning the car. Upon my return of the car the girl came out to inspect the car. She the said that way under the front bumper there was a white line on the black plastic. She claimed I did this to the car. She also claimed I smoked inside the car. I told her that I did not smoke in the car. She then claimed there was ashes on the console. I told her she was wrong that it was food crumbs or dirt. She then said that because I had a lighter in my pocket that meant I smoked in their car. I told the girl she was wrong. I did not damage the car while I had the car. I did not get into any type of wreck. Basically that nothing occurd while I had the car. I am absolutly positive that this white mark had to have been there prior to me renting the car. I say this because the girl immediately went to this white mark way under the front of the car. This white mark was about 1" wide. The location was on the very bottom of the plastic on the front of the car. This plastic would come into contact with curbs when parking etc. I told the girl that she would have to file a claim with the auto insurance company that they had me buy. The girl wanted me to sign more papers which I refused to do. I told her I had to leave for my flight. Upon returning home I looked at my credit card statement and became aware that this company charged 3 separate charges of $1,000.00 to my credit card. This company had no business charging my credit card. This company is A terrible company with terrible business practices. I definitely feel that this company has predatory business practices. Everytime I have rented a car at LAX for the past year(6-times) the rental car costs have averaged $250.00 for 7 days of use. This is the only company that has charged me so much for a rental. Getting back to my residence I also realized that I was missing my credit card with that being said, it may have been an accident or it could have been on purpose regardless I had to go into my bank and order a new debit/credit card. That was also quite an inconvenience for myself. If this is resolvable I would prefer that because it's honestly an unfair amount that was charged and the givin circumstances.Initial Complaint

I had to pay 300 dollars for a deposit to rent a car and after I returned the rental car was told it would take 3 to 5 business days to get my deposit returned. On business day 5 I called company and was told that there was a glitch in their system and they had to release the funds again and was told they didn't know how or when the money would be returned. Could be today tomorrow or in 3 to 5 business days. That money was to pay for my Thanksgiving meal for my family. This is unacceptable business practices.Initial Complaint

Next Car in orlando, Florida is a scam. They forced us to pay extra insurance when it was not necessary. I rented a car for $14 for 2 days which totaled to $36 but in the end I paid $96 and had to put a $250 deposit. They are also very rude and unprofessional. My other vehicle was originally $60 rental and ended up paying $110 after it was all done and I also had $250 deposit. Beware do not rent from this companyInitial Complaint

I rented a car from Next Car on 9/24/2022 the reason for the complaint is because on 10/31/2022 I was informed that I had been placed on a Mileage Capacity because I had driven the vehicle over 4000 miles now upon renting the vehicle they tell you that the Mileage is unlimited now as of 10/31/2022 That's not the case I was informed that I only have 2800 miles until 11/24/2022 when it would be time to renew the contract over again they said to me the that after the Capacity of 3000 miles or more they are not supposed to rent to me anymore how I pay is by day but everytime I call I to extend I have to give them the Mileage now they said it's in the contract but they should explain that at the start of the contract I have already renewed it once And in doing they never said one wordInitial Complaint

I Rented a vehicle and took my kids on a trip and when I returned the vehicle an hour later . They had my deposit of $250.00 and they refused to take me and my kids to the airport unless I pay them for another day use for the baby car seat and tolls also for a late fee. I told them to take it out of the deposit. They were rude and was threatening about not taking me and my children to the airport to catch our flight. I did not appreciate the way they were taking advantage of the situation. Then they finally agreed after begging to take us back to the airport and almost missing our flight. Trying to get more money from my even though they had to return my deposit. Also they cut and pasted my signature on a document I did not agree to or sign. I was not even present for the time or bill.
