Priceless sent a text on 2/5 in early PM. I immediately responded stating that we will pickup car at about 7:30 pm on 2/6, NOT noon on 2/6. On 2/6 at about 7:30, I called Priceless and he stated he canceled our contract because we didn't pick the car up around noon. He was rude and said there is nothing he would do to correct it. I expect for sure that Priceless will refund the $81 we deposited. In addition, the difference between Alamo rental was over $700 the Priceless rental. The vehicle rented to us was infested with cockroaches, they did not care when informed during or after the rental! They would be in our food from the grocery store before we could even get it home, in my four year olds toys not left in the car for more than 15 minutes! They were in our personal luggage in my daughters car seat! Its completely unsanitary, they tried to tell us we didnt call to complain when we did and I even sent a text to their text service! We were told this was within the *** airport and we get there and they told us to call a number to then get on another shuttle to go to a sketchy hut. We waited in line for 2 hours and when I got to the counter they said that I was late for my reservation (because the line took so long) and they would not honor providing us a car. They didnt want to help us and moved to the next person. This happened to multiple people in line. This business owner tried to force me to purchase his car rental insurance even though I had car rental insurance through my credit card company. I declined his insurance. He charged $693.99 for services that I did not authorize. He even mispelled my last name on the credit card authorization form. Hello,I am filing a complaint due to undisclosed charges that were charged when picking up our car that were not disclosed clearly and reasonably while booking.Charges stated when booking: $228 Amount charged to obtain vehicle: $422 We booked with Priceline, and were clearly. given the amount we would be charged for a vehicle to rent. When arriving, we had to wait in line for 2 hours with other disgruntled customers who were also being overcharged beyond what was communicated to them when booking online. They were stating unreasonable fees for a toll service, and that we could not use our own SunPass toll pass for a much more reasonable rate. I believe the business practices of this company take advantage of the customer without clearly delineating charges prior to booking and are unethical. Because they are off site of the airport, travelers have few other options after being shuttled to their place of business. On December 8, 2023, I reserved a rental car via ********* from Priceless Car Rental. I prepaid for the rental car.On December 16, 2023, I received a call from ********* Car Rental to let me know that the last shuttle from the airport to the rental car location was at 8:30 pm and that they would be closing the office at 8:50 pm. My flight was scheduled to land at 8:30 pm but it was going to be delayed because of the weather. Priceless Car Rentals said I could cancel my reservation and get my refund via *********.On December 26, 2023, I contacted ********* to request a refund. They initiated a rental research on my case with reference number, *********, and a confirmation email that stated: We're here to help. This email acknowledges your refund request for your rental car reservation from 12/16/23 to 12/22/23 with trip number: ***********. We've reached out to Priceless Car Rental for more information and should hear back within 10 business days. Once we receive a response from Priceless Car Rental, we'll get in touch via email with the next steps. If your refund is approved, we'll issue it immediately. For real-time updates on the status of your request, visit our Refund Tracker.On January 2, 2024, I followed up with *********. They said they had forwarded my issue to our Customer Relations team for further research. On January 18, 2024, I followed up with ********* again. I have checked your reservation as per check; your case was already escalated, and we already sent an email to our partner; however, they have not received a response yet. Our records indicate that we are making attempts to resolve this issue. Priceless Car Rentals will not respond to ********* to confirm that the reservation was canceled, so ********* can issue a refund.Customer Answer

At 9:43 am on Sunday, February 4, 2024, I received an email that I had a message from the BBB about the case. At 10:23 am on Sunday, February 4, 2024, I received an email from ********* that they were issuing a refund. I received the refund as of February 5, 2024.

Good evening. I flew into the ************* and had already booked a car rental enough Expedia. They claim it is $8 a day and within walking distance from the airport. Great however it wasnt that close through asking multiple people I found out that this place has a shuttle that will pick you up great. I got in the shuttle where I was driven at least 10 min from the airport when I arrieved I was advised that my own full coverage insurance didnt have enough liability so I either was offeeed a refund or had to pay the $40 extra for the insurance or they would not give me the car I was stuck and no other option it was late and I had just gotten there from a long day of traveling.i took the car and within my time I was pulled over the officer told me he pulled me over because the plate did not match the carhe told me to contact the company and have them put the right plate on I had no info In the car other then the printed paperwork they gave me. The officer let me go I called the company they made me drive the car back and gave me a different car.i looked up and I should not have been forced to take that insurance I gave them also a ********************************************************************************************************************************************* another car I want the money back and I have already requested this through them with no response.Initial Complaint

On 12/12/2023, I paid for a rental vehicle from 1/15 - 1/24. I paid $163.38 online and received confirmation. When we arrived, we waited for the shuttle bus who took us to the office in the middle of nowhere. We were then hit for all sort of additional charges that were not shown on the online site. If we had been aware of the additional charges, we would have gone elsewhere. We requested not to be charged for the Sunshine pass which we knew we would not need. We were charged an additional $438.84 which included $150.00 for the pass. When we asked to be refunded, we were told they could not do that and that we had to write to an e-mail site, I did so with no reply, I called the Priceless phone numbers and were told to deal with that location because each one in independent, I called all 3 numbers on their business card and all 3 have mailboxes not set up so I could not leave a message, I feel bad for all the people they have overcharged and that will put others in the spot we were in with no choice, once we got there. - SEE PICTURE WITH INSURANCE RATES in USD. I paid online $106.68 and on top of that they charged me $758.69 for insurance. My Rental was almost $900.00 Once you arrive you will be forced to pay a minimum of an additional $800.00 USD for insurance, they claim is mandatory by the local government the insurance, this is a LIE, IT IS NOT TRUE. I have my own private additional premium insurance with credit card and even after showing they refused to accept it. Book at one of the rentals at the airport and avoid this nightmare. They will claim due to being booked by a NEXTCAR WEBSITE they dont provide the full price. My friends booked at the airport and never got charged this ridiculous amount of money. From paying online $100.00 for an economy car, it ends up paying $900.00. Since its offsite they dont give you more options. AVOID AT ALL COST!I called the number of the reply below, as soon as you mention the situation of insurance in ****** they will put you on hold and bounce the call until they hang up. The employee at ******, ****** if Im not mistaken said that NEXTCAR in purposely leave the ****** insurance out of the website and have clients find out at their location which will force them to pay.
