      We rented a car through Priceline as a package deal when we arrived at the rental car company. They demanded that we buy the extra per day insurance, which cost us $200 and made us get the Sunpass, which is the Florida turnpike pass with no options of refusing for an additional $120 so with the package deal that we agreed with Priceline of a $92 per week for our rental no insurance required as long as we showed proof of our insurance which we Did, and have never been forced to buy the Florida Sunpass to use the turnpike which we did not even use when we ask them to opt out of these options. They said it is required by law and you must pay for these before we can release the car to you , we also rented a full size vehicle which when we got there was not available they claimed they gave us an upgrade and downgraded us to a much smaller vehicle with only a half a tank of gas

      Priceless Car Rental : Tampa Florida Terrible terrible terrible. I can verify all the info in complaints listed on Florida Better Business Bureau as it happened to me too. Insurance : I have Progressive car insurance on *** own 2023 car that has a bank loan . The sign in office states they take ********************* is accepted . When I went to pick up car , they claimed the limits on my insurance was not enough and that I had to buy insurance anyway . Dont you think the bank and insurance company would tell me if my limits were too low ? I also told them I had AAA **************** said they did not accept that either I also was told I had to pay for Fla sunpass . I explained I had brought my Ma. Transponder with me .There is a sign prominently displayed in rental office that states this is accepted.I was told since sunpass was already on car that both transponders would be charged and theirs could not come off . I paid $360.00 in cash because they did not take ****************** The amount was ****** . They didnt have any change to return .No cash . What kind of travel car rental organization does not take AX & then accepts cash but does not have any change for correct amount ? When I received car there was a light flashing the whole week suggesting car would break down which we drive always worried. It was not the make or kind of vehicle that I had chosen . It was an old car that had not been maintained . Waited a long time ( over 1 hour) to be picked up at airport . This business is a disgrace . This does not even begin to cover Switch and Bait . I felt like I had been robbed . Left with no cash as I gave it all to them, a terrible car, long wait for car, and paid for many insurances and fees that were not necessary like customer facility fee??? Also have not received my $200 deposit credit .. wow. I received the car through Priceline and I will be contacting them as well .

      I rented a car on 4/24/24. The entire process began negatively with the company requiring a mandatory, undisclosed requirement to use their insurance for $30 a day and not allowing the use of personal insurance. I was stuck between a rock and hard place with no other options as we were there for my daughters cheer competition and were running late. I complied and paid the ridiculous fee. This is not the cause for my complaint, just another factor in showing what a shady company this is. I proceeded with the rental and took video of the car before leaving the lot as it was full of scratches and dents. When I returned the rental I took additional pictures of the vehicle in it's same state, walked it with the agent and used their shuttle to go to the airport with my kids. Yesterday I noticed a $1000 fine on my credit card statement from the car company. After many, many failed attempts to get ahold of the company via email, virtual chat, calling their headquarters, and their local location I finally got ahold of someone who stated the fine was due to dents and scratches on the vehicle. They said the only way to dispute is via email and sent me the pictures of the vehicle. I looked at the pictures and again noted only the scratches and dents that were already there. I again also have footage showing I did none of the accused scratches/dents. I emailed the company as per their procedure explaining in detail everything and they have not responded to me. I called again and the agent stated still the only way to dispute is via email. Meanwhile my rental car that was originally quoted $231 has now cost me $1561.40. I need this company to respond to me, and fully refund my security deposit and $1000 fine. This company is a scam and should be shut down. Bare minimum I just want me money back as the car had zero damage caused by me. Attached is a few pictures showing the claimed damage before I even touched the vehicle.       On Saturday May 11th, 2024 around 9 am, I picked up a rental car from Nextcar. The rental was from Saturday to Tuesday May 14th, 2024 at 9 am.The reason I rented the rental was to help our family attend several events during the weekend, including Mother's day on Sunday and going to work in ******** on Monday. On the day I rented the car I had an alert saying the car would need maintenance soon. I thought I didn't have to be worried because the car had less than ****** miles and would be returned in the next days.On Monday, while driving to ******** to work, the dashboard suddenly became dark and I couldn't see anything on it, besides the "illumination + and -" signs.I drove to my work following the speed from my phone gps and called Next car when I arrived at work. It took hours to tow the car on the Nextcar Rockville Location and, when I got there, the employees there were not aware of my situation; which made miss more hours of work.They gave me a replacement car to get back to *********, where I dropped the car that same day.I never received a call from the ********* location, acknowledging they got the replacement car, or to apologize for putting my life in danger by renting me a malfunctioning car.On Tuesday I called and was sent to different departments, each saying they couldn't file my complaint. I was promised that the manager in ********* will call me on Wednesday; which never happened. To this day I haven't got back the security hold, whereas they told me it is usually done within 3 days.My complaint is that the rental place rented me a malfunctioning vehicle and didn't care if anything would happen to me or my family. Also, they kept a day of the rental amount, whereas on Monday I didn't use the car according to our agreement. On the contrary, I had to drive being scared and thinking about my children and the impact on them if something would happen to me. In January 2023, we lost my 18 years old son and we're still recovering from that loss...

      Rented a vehicle with Priceless rental car ****************** for May 4-8, 2024. Don't know the exact cost as it was part of a package flight/hotel/car through Priceline. Reservation time was set for 1:30pm. Upon landing at airport called phone number provided by company in their pickup instructions to arrange transport to off site location. Call 3 times and all three calls went to a voice mailbox system. Inquired with information at airport and was directed to which shuttle would take me there. Waited ***** minutes for shuttle and then 5-10 minute ride to site. Then waited in line for several customers ahead of me who were ALL denied their rental reservations as well. When I was finally seen at counter (approx 2:45pm) i was told my reservation was only held until 2:30 and they demanded another $500+ if I wanted a new reservation. Requested a manager and was told there was none and was forced to leave without vehicle or refund. Attached is phone records that I attempted to call them within my 1 hour reservation hour and they did not answer.

      Priceless car rental is running a scam to trick consumers into purchasing insurance coverage for their car rental by running it thru 3rd party booking apps. Advertising low daily car rental rates then requiring outrageously high personal insurance limits that were not disclosed during booking. I made the policy changes that day and they were in effect that day but priceless said they couldnt accept that because it wasnt a month before the rental another loophole to require you purchase their insurance. I did not have another $600 to spend on insuring my rental. Would not refund my money told me to call economy bookings. Economy booking said I had to work with priceless. Theres the loophole. Apparently this is a common scam according to other car rental employees in this area. Priceless blames Economy, Economy blames Priceless. There were 2 other families that we did not know that were also in this situation.

      This rental company is a scam. I purchased a rental period from priceline for them for use in late April. Upon arrival we followed the provided instructions and proceeded to the rental pick up area. After waiting for 20 minutes we decided to call their customer care number even though the instructions didn't specify doing so. They told us they would pick us up within 15 minutes uses. 30 minutes later they finally showed up. The supposed 5 minute 1 mile drive turned out to be significantly longer and a lie. Once there they then tell you that you need to have insurance from specific providers and that Safeco is not one of them. So they force you to pay and extra 30/day or you have to go back to ***********. I tried working with pricline to resolve and they messaged priceline 15 days ago but they haven't heard back from priceless yet. I tried calling priceless but even though it says I am next to ve helped I have been on hold for over 30 minutes with no avail. I am asking for a refund of the insurance payment or the rental. Their website doesn't appear to show that you need a very specific insurance provider. The ****** reviews give this place a 1.3 result with thousand+ reviews.

      In September, 2023, by ************* I secured a rental car from Priceless Car Rental (*****, *******) in the amount of $428.75. Upon arrival at PCR on March 2, 2024, the rental price was $1397.15.

      I rented a vehicle from NextCar ******* ** on 4/19/24. I used my Credit Card ***** was charged $546.79 which INCLUDED a $250 rental deposit. The vehicle was rented for 1 wk to be returned 4/26. When asked if the deposit would be refunded, they said "not until the rental was returned". On 4/26, I came back to extend my rental. I paid for TWO WEEKS to extend until MAY 10, 2024!I was charged another $593.58 on my Debit Card. On, 5/3, I received 2 text msgs stating the rental was due in 4 ***** 2 hrs respectively. I spoke to a rep ***** he stated he'd check on it ***** call me. I missed a call at 326. However, NextCar tried to charge an UNAUTHORIZED *** of $97.01 at 345 pm. I called several times ***** only got thru once to customer service. I was transferred to the location but never got an answer from anyone, which is frequent.I looked at my rental agreement and see the man NEVER charged me for THIS week from May 3-10 but instead charged me ANOTHER $250 deposit. Are you serious!When I picked up the vehicle initially, the vehicle was wet like it was clean. The vehicle was empty with 70 miles left on it ***** no gas. IT had bird **** all over it ***** pollen and the trunk had a bunch of confetti in it. Now, I'm being charged TWICE for a deposit ON an extension but never got my full extension and they want to try to over charge me. Absolute ridiculousness! Some one needs to fix this and I want to be compensated because this is total nonsense and now I'm being completely inconvenienced because of their nonsense. Not only do I want y'all to make sure I get my TWO DEPOSITS back. I want back at least THREE DAYS refunded AND any additional fees I incur as a result of this mess. Someone needs to rectify this situation ASAP. I have lots of photos I can provide. They were emailed to the location.
