06/13/2024 I rented a vehicle from Priceless car-rental on 06/8/2024, and was told that when I returned the vehicle I just needed to leave the key on the dashboard with the contract and no other further action was needed. When I returned the vehicle I did not realize that I still had the key in my pocket and went to the airport (which is just across the street) About an hour and a half later I realized that I still had the key in my pocket and returned to the rental agency and handed it to the rep at the front desk. The rep pressed the button on the key and looked out of the window to verify that the car was there, he then turned to me and said I was good to go. Two days later I was billed two charges, one for $650 and one for $427.25. I was never given any correspondence through email about what the charges were for or any other relevant information. I then called the location and spoke to a rep who said he was going to open a refund request and said he would send me an email with the information about the request. When I got the email it just had an unsigned copy of the rental agreement, and when I call back the phone rings for 2 minutes and hangs up the call. I have reached out the the corporate office, but they also said all they can do is simply email them and "hope for a response" since each location is individually owned and operated. I am looking to have $900 refunded ($650 for the charge for the key and $250 for the initial deposit which was never returned)Initial Complaint

This car dealership gave me a car that had scratches, stains, and was in very poor condition. NOTHING happened to it while it was in my possession and they refuse to refund my deposit of $200 saying I caused some of the existing damage. This is AFTER they misrepresented themselves making me pay a higher fee then advertised for insurance (that I found out from my car insurance company that I did not have to pay.) Attached are the pictures they sent me. Besides a little sand on the back seat in pic 2, there is nothing that is not EXACTLY as when the car was given to me. I got a rental from Priceless and they informed me that I needed ******* dollar insurance liability on my own car insurance or I had to buy through them. When I called my insurance company $******* is not even an amount that is offered. I called priceless corporate office and was informed the amount was ******* not *******. They lied so I was forced to buy and insurance policy I otherwise would not have. (I have all correspondence with corporate). I then looked at my receipt and I was charged for 4 days instead of three. When I called, they kept saying that even though my receipt says that, that isnt the case. They gave me a free sun pass but now ti cover the fact they messed up they are trying to say it wasnt free and that was the extra day Im being charged for. This company SCAMS people to force them to buy insurance. I have been fighting them since January. Every time I call I get a difference response as to why I am not owed the money. One person did say I was owed it but that they needed the manager to put in a code to pay me back and that obviously never happened. I am exhausted with this company. I have been talked over, cursed at, hung up on, and my calls ignored.Initial Complaint

Rented a car - Priceless car rental in *************. Upon check in I was mandated I had to take their personal insurance even though I had my own full coverage through state farm. And additional 280$ .. then during return they assessed a $1500 charge for damage that was not present on the car upon return. They claimed I damaged the car and randomly charged my credit card the amount for said damages. The company refused to acknowledge my concern and told me I damaged the car and they assed this charge on my credit card. No damage was done to the vehicle at all in my possession. Prior to accepting the vehicle they forced me to acquire their full coverage insurance which was non negotiable even though I have my own coverage. This company has scammed multiple customers and are getting away with this on a daily basis. I checked the reports about them on line and this has happed to way to many customers of theirs to make this situation a scam and fraud based business. They are not doing any business with integrity or honesty and should be shut down immediately. This is a fraud business and it is affecting thousands of people across the state. I am expecting a full refund for their lies and horrible business.Initial Complaint

I rented a car with Priceless at *********** on June 7,2024. I had already paid for this using Priceline. When I get to the counter Im charged an additional ****** and told I can not use my own auto insurance policy. *** never had this problem before and have rented many cars. When I return the car on June 13 it is raining but they say everything is good and they take me to airport. I never received any paperwork from this company so that is unusual. Not even a receipt from turning in the car. I check my credit card and am charged an additional ****** and after making several phone calls I finally speak to them and all they can tell me is that a metal piece is missing from car. I had barely driven this car bc I was on a cruise much of this time. These people are scammers from the beginning. I will be contacting Priceline to report them also bc they are who put them in the package I purchased.Initial Complaint

Good morning, I am writing to hopefully receive help to resolve a matter with Priceline car rentals. Upon returning the car, they inspected the vehicle and told me I was all set, and transported myself and my girlfriend to the airport in *****. Two days later, when back home in *************, I noticed a $1000 charge from them. I called and they said that I damaged the bumper of the vehicle, and that covered the cost of the damage. I absolutely know that to not be true. They will not provide me with any information more than that. Upon further investigation myself, I have found that this has been a common occurrence with this company. Please reach out to me if you could further assist me with this matter. I was not refunded the $200 deposit debited on May 27, 2024 for service 5-25 through 5-28. Per contract the full deposit is refunded at the end of service. Ive called the office number provided on the invoice in which the number is not working. Can someone assist with this issue ?Initial Complaint

Reserved a rental car on Priceline.com for 8 days Apr ***** 2024. Priceless car rental was one of the options and cheaper, so I took that one. First was told it was AT *************, but was a 20 minute ride away. At the counter, was told I needed to buy their insurance. I told them I already bought something on rental site for $104. I was told that was just collision and I needed other insurance. I said I do not, my insurance would cover. They would not accept that. In hindsight, I should have checked reviews as they are all bad, very bad. I was not getting anywhere, so had no choice but to cancel right then. I know they have a cancellation policy of 48 hrs to get refund..I get that, but in this situation they were holding the car until I got their insurance. They are scamming everyone who drives away with a car there. I tried to get refund from Priceline since they were the one listed on my *********** card. No luck. Tried several times, nothing. I disputed it with Cap one and they fell back on that cancellation policy and I got nowhere with them. Went back to Priceline and they said since I did a dispute, they would do nothing. Cap One did a temp credit on my card and have since recharged me. This is not a huge amount of money, but the principle here that this Priceless is ripping people off. I dont think it is legal to keep the car from you because you wont pay them more.Initial Complaint

5/30 to 6/2 I rented the car it had scratches and dented up the young lady told me she noted it and knew about issue. The wait was over a hour just to get car. The workers spoke in spanish which I didn't speak it. After I told worker not to speak in spanish she got upset and stormed off and never returned another lady took of us. Everyone who came in spanish speaking they took before me a african american women. When I drove car off lot the car had a wrench symbol and tire pressure symbol. I called and reported to customer service which told me to take back. I took back next morning after they called to return the man refused to take care and he said if he didi it will be a long wait. I asked why cause no one is here and said cause it is. He also said the wrench means need oil change. The oil change tag said 4-1-2022 on car and tire light was goin on and off. The steeringwheel was stiff and car was drifting to the other side while driving it. when returned car he said I put scratch on it use showed be pic with same scratch and another one which he photoshopped it or use flash to make it look bad. When I aske to see picture again refused. so after going back and fourth I left and he tried to charge me $770 for I guess damages. He also gave me someone else personal info. And someone has mine cause they contacted me private. The young lady info i have had the same car 3 days before me and the same issue with scratch in the same spot and tried to charge her $630 for the same spot like me we had the same car she also had the same issue with them also. They wouldn't take my allstate insurance we had to get there which was cdw never heard of it. I feel like they are scamming people using same pictures renting same cars and charging people for the same thing. Also they are giving other people customer personal info and credit card info. They wouldn't give me my receipt i had to take a picture of it cause they had no copy machine. I want a refund
