    My elderly mother is paying for expensive panels that have NEVER worked. They did not pass inspection. They were never done correctly. The company scammed her. She has complained and nothing is done.

    Bright Planet Solar take absolutely no responsibility for what you are told by the sales people. They lied to us on so many things. We were promised a $14,380 tax rebate, which was not true. We were told that the $14,380 could be put towards the mortgage of the panels and that we could keep our solar payment at $204.55. We were told that a tree in our back yard would be no problem. We would still generate the necessary power for our home. The generation was approx. just over half of what we used. Again not true. We were told that is the stated amount of generation was not up to what was stated in the proposal they would reimburse us for the short fall. Not true. When the issues were raised with Bright Planet Solar, their response was: Our company, Bright Planet Solar, is not responsible for any claims that may have been previously made to you by your sales representative. Now my solar payment will increase by $72.91 per month. I am retired basically living on social security. This increase makes it extremely difficult. They state that the sales people our are sales people. Not true. We did not contact them, they contacted us. If I could leave 0 stars I would

    This service is horrible it took like 8 months to get it installed and get it right ! The installers were not professional tattoos and no shirts on while working, then after final install leaks from panels in living room ceiling . Ceiling caved in they payed for repairs then another leak cause they didnt install correctly, ceiling repaired a second time , then forgot to turn on system back on a month later I noticed my men charges were going up then called then to come and check it , we found out they forgot to turn system back on after they repaired ceiling cause they didnt install panels correctly . I spoke to mangers about compensation they were very rude and said they would not help please do not hire this company. Theyre terrible.

    Worst company I have ever dealt with hands down. Canceled multiple install appointments. Never call back! You are assigned a project manager who never shows up and will never call back. I dont even know who he is! I called to express my frustrations and the manager started yelling at me after I expressed my dissatisfaction. They cut metal on my roof and all the shavings ended up on the ground in my backyard. Nobody ever called back and left me to clean all the shavings up for weeks. The wind blows and constantly sends down more shavings. After never receiving a call back I was being pestered to to finalize my bill so that they could bill me. They are billing me now without authorization and without ever calling me back. I manage a reputable large company and what you guys are doing is criminal. Someone really needs to look into this place I dont know how they are still in business and I know so many others have or are about to go through the same things I experienced. This company needs to be shut down

    Horrible! They lied to us on so many things. We were promised a ****** tax rebate, which was not true. We received *****. We were told that the ****** could be put towards the mortgage of the panels and that we could pay off ****** to get our balance down to ******. Obviously, a lie. We also were told everything would be up and running within 4 weeks. We installed the panels in March 2022 and the power was not turned on until September, 5 months later! We were also told we would get cash back from power sold to another energy company. I have not yet received anything. My parents have had solar since 2010 and make roughly ****** a year from selling their excess energy. I was told by bright planet I could get ***** at best. This just seems like this company does not care. When we called to complain, we were told the person who sold us the panels were fired and they could not help us any more. I would never recommend them. If anyone knows how to sell my energy another way, please share. I would never recommend Bright planet to anyone. They lie and are *********.

In relation to making sure your energy is being credited properly, you'll want to follow up with your utility company. Bright Planet Solar makes sure to deliver on what's written in the contract, so we have not lied about anything.     I ordered their system in January. . To this date it is on my roof but not installed. I was told approx. 6 to 8 weeks to be running. Starting Sept 6 they are taking money from me. I have called, texted , and done everything they have ask of me. I told them take it off my roof but they say it is to late. So here I sit paying for something that I don't have and there is no sign it will be hooked up anytime soon. What am I to do?

    Hey *****, Your solar agreement doesn't specify a completion date for the project, however it's guaranteed that our teams will work on the project consistently until the system has been turned on. Right now you're just waiting on a final inspection before we can submit for Permission to Operate. I've reached out to the Inspections manager to make sure yours gets scheduled asap. -Trev

    We got solar through Bright Planet and opted for the Everbrite Lease. We were going to do sunrun but with everbrite we saved a lot more than with sunrun and wed be getting the exact same system. Now that its been active for a few months we havent had any power bills from Eversource. Our rate is 22 cents for the first year. My neighbors are paying over 30 cents a kwh so we are very happy! Everything is doing what they said it would.

    Im not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I had a right Planet installed in my house in *********** in January. They were there for half a day and installed 20 panels. They were nice and cleaned up. It took awhile to get the system turned on but thats because we were waiting on our power company. Now that weve been on for a few months I have no received any bill from Eversource and our solar bill is easily 120 dollars a month less than what our power bill was last year. Overall very happy.

    Scam! Run! Don't let these unprofessional people into or around your home. They left us with no power and the only person that can help you is five hours away and they're only 9 to 5. They dont use real electricians they cut up our electrical panel and left me with two newborn twins without power for over 24 hours. Run ! There are so many better company's out there. We're getting a lawyer to *** to get out of contract since they screwed up our entire electrical panel
