This company engages in predatory lending. I made an equipment purchase for my business which I believed I was funding through an equipment lease with a company called QuickSpark. My agreement with QuickSpark was straightforward, however they use TimePayment Corp., a third-party to collect payments, and they charge hidden, exorbitant fees. So while the assumption is that youve signed an agreement with the lending company, what is really happening is that you are being manipulated into signing a document agreeing to 300% of the initial loan amount. To make matters worse, the equipment I bought from *************** in LA is faulty. Furthermore, when I offered to settle, I was given a balance amount that was over $1k my actual balance. If this company would like to settle with me directly, please be in contact. And If there is a class-action lawsuit in progress, please contact me as I would be willing to contribute to legal fees to *** this company.

Again, TimePayment has yet to come up with another scam to defraud me out of money. This time, TimePayment has sent me a letter stating I now owe them $20.33 without any explanation. My payments are up to date and has never been late. Their scam like tactics is becoming annoying and frequent as so they are trying to confuse people with thrown-in-the-air figures so people will not know what their payments are.I think this business is running some sort of scam and needs Federal investigations into their business. Businesses should not have to go through day-to-day headaches because TimePayment thinks people will give in and just let them steal from them.

Our records reflect that the reason for this invoice was explained to you in an email with our collections manager. The invoice was printed 3/25/23 and is due 4/20/23; after credits to your account, this brought the payment due in April down to $20.33.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.

The email was explained late, but now I'm aware of the reason I can accept your response. The letter makes things as if this was this month's bill that should be due. The letter should have come with a clearer understand, as we are just still in this month's billing cycle, considering your past history with me.

To: Leastaurant, ********************************************* 3/30/2023 From: ********************************************************* Re: Third Party ************************* I am writing to you regarding the agreement that we were told we had when we went to Leastaurant which was a lease for restaurant equipment for our new location. It began with several issues, we had to return items that we had not ordered. We leased just over $12,000 worth of equipment; however, we began to receive bills for over $27,000. We felt was insane to charge over $15,000 in interest for a $12,000 lease term. We were never in contact directly with the company Time Payment and we believe Time Payment thought their terms were expressed to us. However, it was not, Leastaurant advertises on social media as though you are financing directly to them, which is false and therefore false advertisement. BACKGROUND We opened our restaurant in ******************* Mall in *******, **. on August 21, 2022. March 16th, 2023, we decided to move out of the mall into our own location, just to discover this third-party scam happening to **. It has been a horrible experience dealing with companies that reel you in hiding truths and then placing the burden on the merchant. We were never told that we would be paying over $27,000 for $12,000 worth of equipment. Therefore, I have decided to contact the ************************ and the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. I refused to be scammed and then told I have to be responsible for the ***** scam and false information. Regretfully yours, *****************************, ** and *************************

I recently purchased a day spa chair with time payment corp and the terms I agreed to is not what they charged me. I learned that Time Payment Corp is a financing company that has predatory financing. They check my credit once 2/2023 but never told me they put me in the lower tier credit which means they can charge me an large financing charge. They just recently check my credit again this month, 3/2023 why I'm not sure since I haven't requested any future orders with them. I agreed to purchase a chair for $1.900.00 but found out it's been financed for over $3,000.00 because of the interest rates which was never told to me. Every time I try to get someone over the phone, I get transferred to another department. It was so bad that I paid off this account immediately!!!! There is no way that I will continue to do business with this predatory company.

I purchased equipment from a certain vendor and was given the option to go through time payment. Well that was the biggest mistake Ive ever made. The small business is no longer doing work so therefore Ive fell on hard times and havent been able to make my payments, they did offer to make arrangements which Ive been doing but Im at the point to where I cannot afford this anymore out of my own pocket. *** offered to return the equipment but they told me that legal action would still be processed against me. Also they started charging me for insurance that I didnt request I have insurance for the equipment. My payments are not even close to what I started paying. I just want them to take the equipment back and let me go my separate ways. This is ridiculous

I've filed a complaint before about timepayment mishandling my account, and since I contacted you, and others the business has resolved the issue on their side. Now, about a month later timepayment has lied to the credit bureau and said I'm 60 days past due on my loan, which I'm not and they've acknowledged I'm not.Why this scamming business is trying to purposely ruin a business relationship with their customer is unbelievable as well as doing something fraudulent as to lie to a credit bureau to ruin a person's credit also.

You've also reported to Equifax as well as Experian.

I was told you only report to Experian, but now my Equifax is reported on. And as far as the first ********** ****** you reported to, you did have some control as I was told that you knew of this problem for months that you are having with reporting issues to Experian, that was/is in your control which is gross negligence because I was told this was reported months ago and you should have been working on this with Experian to move faster.

So, the 30 days is well over when you knew about reporting issues months ago.

So, this is a new complaint about Equifax as well, what reasons is Equifax reporting me now?

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.

Since the nature of this complaint is making my credit report whole, I don't see the need for all this back-and-forth teenage social media like games.

My credit was impacted, it should be brought back up to speed, I'm not understanding the nonsense delays. If your relationships with the credit bureau is ****** then it should not be used until things are back on track.

Furthermore, everything is electronic now, and instant. I again don't see how it is taking so long to resolve when all is needed is the click of a few buttons to resolve, this is not snail mail service here, nor does this require rocket science to figure out, maybe if it was yours, you'll be a lot faster on the case with!

If there are constant delays, then I have no other choice but to dispute ever single payment since you're lying about them not received, closed the account and not pay anything anymore and call it a nightmare. That is the only option I see due to the business contributory negligent actions.

I've been more than fair and patient with this company, and this will be my last complaint, I will be forced to dissolve the issue on my own from here on with no further contact and dispute the entire loan.

TimePayment does not allow consumers to view their balance. They do not allow consumers to see a breakdown of their monthly payment and where the money goes. This company does not send out monthly billing statements. I called and they said there is no option for that. How can a financial company not provide that information to the consumer? How can I be sure that my money is going to the right place? I have asked this question to them before, and I called again today to get the same response.

TimePayment is sorry to hear about your negative experience. Please be advised that at the time of your call, it was explained to you that due to a system update, the buyout information was not available but was being worked on by our IT Department to be provided. This information is now available on the portal. It was also explained that invoices and payment history were available on the portal, and that your monthly invoices would show the payment breakdown; because you were setup on auto-pay, you were not receiving invoices, however, those will now be emailed to you for your records.
