I recently purchased a day spa chair with time payment corp and the terms I agreed to is not what they charged me. I learned that Time Payment Corp is a financing company that has predatory financing. They check my credit once 2/2023 but never told me they put me in the lower tier credit which means they can charge me an large financing charge. They just recently check my credit again this month, 3/2023 why I'm not sure since I haven't requested any future orders with them. I agreed to purchase a chair for $1.900.00 but found out it's been financed for over $3,000.00 because of the interest rates which was never told to me. Every time I try to get someone over the phone, I get transferred to another department. It was so bad that I paid off this account immediately!!!! There is no way that I will continue to do business with this predatory company.Business Response

I purchased equipment from a certain vendor and was given the option to go through time payment. Well that was the biggest mistake Ive ever made. The small business is no longer doing work so therefore Ive fell on hard times and havent been able to make my payments, they did offer to make arrangements which Ive been doing but Im at the point to where I cannot afford this anymore out of my own pocket. *** offered to return the equipment but they told me that legal action would still be processed against me. Also they started charging me for insurance that I didnt request I have insurance for the equipment. My payments are not even close to what I started paying. I just want them to take the equipment back and let me go my separate ways. This is ridiculousBusiness Response

I've filed a complaint before about timepayment mishandling my account, and since I contacted you, and others the business has resolved the issue on their side. Now, about a month later timepayment has lied to the credit bureau and said I'm 60 days past due on my loan, which I'm not and they've acknowledged I'm not.Why this scamming business is trying to purposely ruin a business relationship with their customer is unbelievable as well as doing something fraudulent as to lie to a credit bureau to ruin a person's credit also.Business Response

Please be advised we have submitted a request to the credit bureaus to update the tradeline on or around March 27, 2023. You were also sent a copy of the request from the collections manager you have been speaking to on or around the same date.Customer Answer

You've also reported to Equifax as well as Experian.
I was told you only report to Experian, but now my Equifax is reported on. And as far as the first ********** ****** you reported to, you did have some control as I was told that you knew of this problem for months that you are having with reporting issues to Experian, that was/is in your control which is gross negligence because I was told this was reported months ago and you should have been working on this with Experian to move faster.
So, the 30 days is well over when you knew about reporting issues months ago.
So, this is a new complaint about Equifax as well, what reasons is Equifax reporting me now?

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.Since the nature of this complaint is making my credit report whole, I don't see the need for all this back-and-forth teenage social media like games.
My credit was impacted, it should be brought back up to speed, I'm not understanding the nonsense delays. If your relationships with the credit bureau is ****** then it should not be used until things are back on track.
Furthermore, everything is electronic now, and instant. I again don't see how it is taking so long to resolve when all is needed is the click of a few buttons to resolve, this is not snail mail service here, nor does this require rocket science to figure out, maybe if it was yours, you'll be a lot faster on the case with!
If there are constant delays, then I have no other choice but to dispute ever single payment since you're lying about them not received, closed the account and not pay anything anymore and call it a nightmare. That is the only option I see due to the business contributory negligent actions.
I've been more than fair and patient with this company, and this will be my last complaint, I will be forced to dissolve the issue on my own from here on with no further contact and dispute the entire loan.

TimePayment does not allow consumers to view their balance. They do not allow consumers to see a breakdown of their monthly payment and where the money goes. This company does not send out monthly billing statements. I called and they said there is no option for that. How can a financial company not provide that information to the consumer? How can I be sure that my money is going to the right place? I have asked this question to them before, and I called again today to get the same response.Business Response

TimePayment is sorry to hear about your negative experience. Please be advised that at the time of your call, it was explained to you that due to a system update, the buyout information was not available but was being worked on by our IT Department to be provided. This information is now available on the portal. It was also explained that invoices and payment history were available on the portal, and that your monthly invoices would show the payment breakdown; because you were setup on auto-pay, you were not receiving invoices, however, those will now be emailed to you for your records.Initial Complaint

We had a person come in claiming he was with our current credit card processor, TSYS. He said that since they recently merged with Global he was reviewing accounts to give them a better plan. He told us we would have a fixed monthly payment and not pay service fees and discount points too. He never said we were leasing any equipment. He switched us to another credit card processor. He said we did not have to contact our current credit card processor since we are staying with the same one and took our own equipment to "return for credit" since it was new and we owned it. It turned out he signed us up with a lease company TimePayment, switched us to another credit card processor and we are now being billed from TimePayment, the other credit card processor, our original credit card processor since we did not cancel with them and his company for "fees". I have filed papers with TimePayment legal department that the post office shows them receiving on January 23 but they have not sent me an answer just keep sending bills. I have called them and they do not return my call. We would gladly return this equipment retail value of $3000. that they are billing us over 500 per month for the two offices on a 60 month contract. Our own equipment was stolen by the person representing them and we have purchased new. We never lease credit card machines. I want the contracts terminated.Customer Answer

I've been paying monthly payments then they failed to debit my account a few times so I had to pay $100/wk to catch up on payments and I have been paying this for a year and my balance is still the same. And they keep sending me past due notices and keep tasting on extra fees.Business Response
