My mother died January 6 2024 and has a few thousand dollars in ******* stocks. As executor of the estate, I am trying to transfer the stocks to my name for distribution among siblings. I have now spent at least $60 getting documents notarized, $259.13 paid directly to them which they cashed last week and countless hours on the phone with their customer reps who seem to deliberately talk very fast and also with contradicting information. The last package sent to them was via registered mail and had another original death certificate, a copy of the will, checks, notarized forms which I have already sent, and an itemized list of what has been sent. They cashed the checks then sent me a letter after a couple weeks that they now want something new for me to send. I have dealt with financial institutions and it is all clear. Compushare deliberately makes the process next to impossible.

I had 689 shares of a stock (GME) and contacted customer support seeking clarification on how selling works. I was told that the price advertised during the sell process is on a ***** minute delay, but that the stock would be sold at the actual market value price. I then proceeded with the sale of *************************************** the low-mid 40's per share. At the time the sell was initiated through the execution of the sale, the price remained in the low-mid 40's. I did not immediately see the transaction, and contacted support who stated it would take 2 hours to see something. When I finally saw the receipt, the price per share was listed at 39.6, which was a disconnect to the price per share when the order was executed. I contacted support who stated there was nothing they could do. I explained that the scenario they described is impossible since at the time of initiating the sell, the stock price was in the low-mid 40's, and at the time the order was executed it remained at the same price. One supervisor, ***, actually laughed at me during my conversation with Computershare. The issue remains unresolved despite calling in multiple times. I asked *** to transfer the call to a different supe due to his unprofessionalism, and was promised a call back within an hour. That call never happened, so I called back in, asked to speak to a manager about my situation since the lower level CSRs are not willing to address the situation, and I keep getting the run around. I am seeking the approximate monetary difference that accurately represents my shares at the time they were sold in the low-mid 40s

The response is just factually inaccurate. Its impossible for me to get a sale price below $40/sh when the price at market when the sale was initiated and subsequently executed never dipped below $40. I do believe I am owed the adjustment as such.

Computer share is keeping me from accessing my account due to their verification process. they say that I can get an email sent to me to verify my account for $30. Otherwise I need to wait for the mail to verify my account I asked about getting expedited shipping for the letter and they said that would be $35. I cannot access my account holding hostage for $35 or $30 the process of trying to go through for four months

***************** with over $3,000. Unable to access account information without address verification, however the address information they have is my former. Unable to update to my current address because the account is locked. Business has previously sent the verification letter to my old address which I clearly wont receive. I cant transfer to a different broker as I need the account number, which they dont provide until the address is verified. Recurring investment of $200 a month is linked to my account which I would like to stop, but I cant. Taking funds monthly from my bank account but denying me access to my own personal information or account number, or providing me the ability to stop future investments or remove funds. I question the legality of such business practice

When I try to log into my account, I get the following redirect errors regardless of browser I use weather I'm using Chrome or Firefox. I have nearly 27k invested with this company and not able to see my account is unacceptable.

I hold shares of ******* for two sons under the Uniform Gifts to Minors Act. Their grandfather gifted these shares to them when they were young. They are now adults and desire that I sell the shares, which I have repeatedly attempted to do, both online and by phone with Computershare, all unsuccessfully. I have been twice disconnected for no apparent reason and the online services make it so I cannot see how to proceed online to sell shares.I intend to seek civil damages including by way of punishment, if not resolved, but will try this method first to resolve.

I did not sell any of my *** shares and yet, they are gone. i cant access any previous statements reguarding my *** shares or why they are no longer in my computer share account. I've been traying to use their live chat option to resolve an issue and no one is talking to me. The website says that i have a check that needs to be replaced so when i click on the company that needs to re-send the check.(***). nothing happens. the website doesnt move forward, it just stays on the same screen. I've tried calling the customer service number and after their automated person doesn't understand that i am trying to say "***" and not some other company, it tries to send me to a live customer service specialist where it rings FOREVER and then automatically hangs up on me. Their website glitches and lack of customer service makes me feel like they are running away with my money. Where are my *** shares? and if they no longer exist for whatever reason, where is my check?

Horrible investor service. I have investments held with this company and was unable to login to my account. I tried to call the company only to be answered by a recording, which was no help. When I was suppose to be sent to a representative the phone just rang for a long time. I called back to try again and this time when sent to a representative the call was ended immediately after one ring as though they did not want to deal with investors. I tried the online chat and was told I would be sent to a representative. I'm still waiting. This is not how investors should be treated and I will be looking at other options. I suggest prospective investors do the same.

My mother passed away in March 2024 and I began the process of contacting Computershare to transfer her shares of MetLife and Bright House. The first person I spoke with had a difficult accent to understand and was beyond rude. He had the audacity to tell me to stop interrupting him when I had questions about anything I didn't understand. I was so upset that I made the mistake of not asking his name. After that waste of my time, I tried contacting Computershare through email but they didn't bother to respond until the 5th business day saying they would mail me the paper work. Meanwhile I figured out how to access Computershare's transfer wizard and went through the arduous process of collecting the documentation required. Per their wizard, once I gathered the necessary documentation to acquire the elusive Gold Medallion stamp, I wouldn't need to provide further documentation. I spent $60 to mail the documents to separate addresses. BrightHouse transferred, MetLife did not. Now I'm told I need to send the documents after all. So again, I jumped through hoops and have spent another $30 to send the extra documentation. There's been little time to mourn my mom because of the obstacles I've had to maneuver in order access a measly $8000 in shares. I was able to transfer and very substantial TRowe ***************** with a simple phone call and electronic signatures. It seems that Computershare makes it so difficult in hopes that you'll just give up and go away. I wish I had put in the paper work to sell as well as transfer the shares because that's my next step. No one should have to go through this nonsense and I look forward to the day I don't have to deal with them ever again.

I am the court-appointed Executor of the Estate of ****************************************, Deceased, and the Estate of ********************* ***********, Deceased. On October 18, 2023, I wrote to obtain a complete listing of all accounts Mr. and *************************** had with Computershare. The list I received in response, dated October 30, 2023, did not include all accounts. I learned of additional accounts later when I received year-end dividend checks from companies that were not included in the October 30 list. I made a follow-up request for a complete listing of all accounts and holdings on February 9, 2024. To date, I have not received a response. I did, however, receive a notice of change of address dated April 17, 2024, suggesting that *************************** has additional holdings with Computershare in ************************* **************** L.P. in Account No. 0******790. I learned this when I received a change of address notification from the *************** Computershare refuses to provide information to me about this account or any other potential holdings Mr. or *************************** have at Computershare.
