This company executed an unclaimed property transfer to the state. While I own responsibility for not "getting in touch" with Computershare before their transfer deadline, they made absolutely no effort to make themselves available for contact beyond a pre-recorded message sent by regular mail. No email address, no phone call - nothing. After searching past notices for a customer service number (different from the number provided on the transfer notice), the company is unable to send anything via email for record keeping. At no point did they make any effort or extend any courtesy to me as a shareholder despite being with the company they are now managing, since 1998. I will never hold stock in another Computershare company, EVER. I have never had such a poor experience with a management company before and find their practices extremely lackluster in today's modern age.

This company is the worst. They will not release your money in a direct transfer and will give you conflicting information. They read from prompts when you call, transfer you around, and disconnect you. Trying to transfer approx 13k out to an actual brokerage and depending on who you ask, it can or can't be done.

Their customer "support" is really just a bunch of Indians who I'm sure have no idea what the f*** they're doing. I tried to sell my ****** stock and was instead connected with some of the dumbest humans I've ***** had the pleasure of talking to. Computershare does not care about you, your money, or your time. They will waste all of it and make it 800x more complicated and confusing for all parties involved. They hold over $10,000 in stock IN MY NAME. I WANT TO SELL MY F****** S*** LET ME SELL MY S*** YOU INBRED A*******

My experience with this company scares me, I have zero confidence in them. Stock from my mother-in-law is handled by them. On her passing we had to go through hoops to get the stock transferred to the Estate. It was a bit of work but not a problem. Once transferred successfully is when the problems began. We no longer get quarterly statements on the stock. When we tried to setup online account the first time it took quite and while and the final step was them sending us a access code in the mail. When we received the access code it didn't work. So we followed the steps for a new access code. When after 3 months we received no new code we called the customer support center. After we finally got through we were on the phone for over 30 minutes talking to someone with a heavy accent who was in a room with a lot of background noise from people speaking loudly, it sounded really shady at best. I followed with a detailed complaint email regarding all the issues with our call. Two days I got an email saying a new code was being sent and apologies for our issues with their automated telephone service. We didn't use the automated telephone service we talked to a live idiot. Two weeks later we received another letter with another access code and again it does not work. I don't understand how BBB gives this organization an A+ rating when every review is an F-.

*****. Company. ********** out - they are predatory! Nearly impossible to get your money out. I called to transfer my stock to my ****** account. They required a handwritten not with a gold medallion from a bank in order to do so. Are you kidding me? I explained I was able to transfer my *** shares to my ****** account via phone the day prior, but said that was not an option with them. The company makes it incredibly hard to get your money so BEWARE!

Of all the tech support phone calls I've had to do in my life, this has to be the worst company I've ever worked with. I wish I could give it less than 1 star. They were supposed to ***** me my account portfolio and they accidentally sent me someone elses portfolio which makes me think they sent mine to someone else as well. Totally incompetent! I can't tell you how many hours i've wasted getting transferred and disconnected.

I had an account they could not find. Kept sending me to ******. ****** kept sending me back. Turns out they do have my account but several incompetent employees. Sold all my shares. Never doing business with them ever again, even if they are the only **** broker offered by my employer

This company is THE WORST and has continually made the process of redeeming shares in companies from my mother's estate unbearable. I am the executor of my mother's estate and have only encountered bureaucratic barriers and ridiculous requirements for things like original hard copies of court appointment letters (of which I have one, and not enough for each stock request!) medallion stamps for change of address forms which require a recent statement, but then have no recent statements issued from them to make any changes. I can find no record of them ever issuing a statement to my mother, despite issuing her dividends - which apparently don't count. Never ever deal with this company or their partner *******.

It has been a nightmare working with them at every. single. step. Setting up the account is a nightmare. Getting through to customer service who can only help with a VERY limited number of things is a nightmare. They double withdrew from my account which caused me to overdraft in my checking. I fixed it. Then I went to make a large purchase of stock using a specific account, and they took it from a different account that I DIDNT input for the transaction, again causing me to overdraft on every purchase until I caught it. They owe me SEVERAL overdraft fees. ??
