  EF Tours .... the BEST tour company ever. I traveled with a group of like-minded solo travelers with the purpose of exploring the county's landscape and culture. The tour was the perfect mix of outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking and snorkeling, as well as, touring historical and archeological sites. When planning the trip I was always able to connect with a knowledgable representative to help me customize my adventure. EF Tours has a 24/7 phone number I was able to use during a flight delay. I was very impressed with how smoothly our multiple in-country flights and bus trips ran. Our hotels and transportation were first rate; even the "happy room" (aka bathroom) stops were clean, fresh and fun. Our guide was wonderful. She not only was very knowledgable, she had a great sense of humor. You could see the love she has for her country as she talks about its history and culture and traditions. She was extremely efficient and helpful juggling everyones individual needs and schedules. Yes, there were times our group opted to shorten a tour so we could go back to our gorgeous hotel and use the fabulous pool before our group dinner. I loved the fact that our guide was so flexible. I also loved the "whisper" devices we were all given. No need to sit right next the the guide to hear information. You could listen from the comfort of the back of the bus or as the last person on a hike or tour if you chose to lag behind to get a better view (or fantastic photo). It was a "stress-free" way to visit a country where I did not know the language. I would definitely not have seen as many of the attractions it has to offer had I tried to book it on my own. Through EF Tours my experience was a trip of a lifetime.

  I did my first Tour Holiday recently with EFTours. I did a Tour of *************** Our ***** tour guide was ***** - she was INCREDIBLE!! We saw everything! We learned everything! We ate everything! I am a bit of an ancient history junkie and ***** kept us all captivated! Our accommodations were perfect (except our last 2 nights in ***** at ************** and Casino - too big too loud too impersonal. Our first few nights at the Steigenberger was beautiful! The service was impeccable! Our cruise - Royal Lotus was incredible - the boat was wonderful! The staff wonderful! The food amazing! We had one night at *************** - fabulous! And the *********************************** in ***** and W Hotel in ***** were wonderful!! Our home hosted dinner were definitly highlights! We did one in ***** and one in ******. Both families were amazing hosts to such a large group! And the food was in ******* - by far the best two meals of our trip!! Some of our tours included The ************, the Citadel in *****, Giza Plateau (******************, **********,), *****, The Nile River cruise, Temple at Pilae, *******************, ***** ****, **********, a Nubian Village, ***** and The Dead Sea! A few other churches, mosques and the ******************. Only 2 things I would have changed about my trip - the first was the hotel I spoke about and the second would be 2 days in ***** instead of only 1. It was such an amazing site - unguided we just simply didnt get thru it all! But sooooo beautiful!! If you are considering an ***** tour - EF Tours is definitely one you should consider!! Our group organiser (*****) worked diligently with the tour company and we had a spectacular adventure!! I did a lot of research before we booked - research about both the countries we were visiting and the ************* They were very up front about everything in our itinerary and the safety they could guarantee!

  I booked a trip to ***************************** could not fulfill our room request, but only offered to refund 3 or the 5 travelers. They expected half of our family with minor children to still travel!! Ridiculous!! I would not recommend booking with Go Ahead Tours.

At Go Ahead Tours, we make every effort to accommodate special rooming requests and for your family of five we provided a risk-free period of 60 days for the two travelers on the order that did not have a special room request as an extra accommodation for your situation. After the 60 day period the travelers that did not have a special room request were subject to our standard cancelation fees. We regret that you did not respond to our attempts to contact you within the 60 day risk-free time period about not being able to provide you with the special room request for your chosen tour. Additionally, we acknowledge the frustration you experienced with the options presented after the closure of the 60-day period, including some special exceptions. Despite the pre-tour challenges, we sincerely hope you have a memorable and enjoyable experience during your ****** tour in ****.   1st time traveler solo on the Grand Tour of ***** in November . It was fantastic! I booked my air travel thru them as well. the tour is grueling but it's the only way to see everything. Our tour guide was great at storytelling and a great sense of humor as well as our bus driver. We had a wonderful group of tourists on the bus and a wide age range. I had no expectations and each day was more awesome than the last.I didn't have any issues , it was just an awesome journey.Thank you

  EF tours are **************. Small groups with guides who are knowledgeable about the region and, important to me, its history. I felt safe and comfortable with the tour, guide, transportation, and accommodations. Toured Ireland and am going with EF to ***** this spring.

  Awful customer service! Buyer beware! My daughters, and I were excited to go on our first trip to Europe, but after the war going on in ****** we did not feel comfortable with the terrorist threats that were happening to Americans. So I contacted EF Go Ahead Tours, and after several days, *************************, a manager, finally got back to me. She let me know that my ************, even with the events going on, were a 50% refund or a rebooking fee of $2250. I asked for her to waive the rebooking fee, given the circumstances, and she refused. We will NEVER use or recommend EF Go Ahead Tours. Instead of gaining a customer they have lost at least 3 customers for life!

  I recently took a tour from *******, ******* to ***** with EF . Everything went smoothly from the airport pickup in ***** and through the whole tour. Our tour director, ****, was wonderful! So knowledgeable, friendly, and organized. I can't stress enough how much our tour depended on her expertise. Accommodations and food were very good. I had a wonderful time and would certainly choose this company again!

  Just comeback from Grand Tour of ******. I signed for optional activity: Traditional ******* Meyhane Dinner cost $55.00.We walk-in to the restaurant full of Cigarettes Smoke, I could not breath and had to walk out. I waited for restaurant to clear the air by turning the fen, but even after 30 min restaurant was full cigarette smoke because other restaurant costumers was smocking none-stop, so I had to walk back to the Hotel for 40min in unfamiliar town, dark streets, my safety in jeopardy. the other member of out tour with ****** had to leave too, because she could not breeze easer. Turkey has None Smoking Law on Public since 2021, so the restrain which was chosen by EF Go Ahead was in Violation of the Law. I caller EF customer service representative regarding refund for this fiasco "Authentic Dinner Experience" she refused to refund the money, so she offered the travel voucher for the duration of 6 month with the condition to use it for next tour. Travelers should not be held hostage to spend more money, by booking next tour, in order to get refund for prior EF Go Ahead fiasco experience!!! This is absolutely unexpectable for EF refusing refund money for optional excursions even they are pickings vendors who are in violation of basic laws! EF have to disclose health hazardous condition during Authentic *******, so at least members of the tour will have a choice. I demand the refund in original method of payments because the "Kiss-Off Voucher" not going to work because I will never travel with EF again!!! Staff member rude on top of everything, I called on 11/30 at 3:55pm the representative name ***********-up on me because I was asking for the refund statues on canceled ************ trip which was ignored and not processed for 6 days since 11/24. Because **** had no answer he stated: "this conversation no longer productive and hang-up"... I will go to press and Media, so consumer will know what to expect!

Our Terms & Conditions, which all travelers sign, are quite clear that optional excursions are non-refundable at 3 days prior to departure unless the excursion is unable to run as scheduled. We understand that your experience was impacted by other customers at the restaurant refusing to comply with restaurant staff and local laws, and that you chose to skip the excursion as a result. As was explained to you on the phone, we made a one time exception to provide you with a voucher for the excursion you chose to skip and you seemed to understand the policy and were excited to use the voucher during our next Spring Black Friday event. 

  Also we are very sorry that your interaction with a member of our phone staff reached the point that he had to hang up on you. It is important to remember that you are working with our staff towards a resolution when there is an issue, and that they are people who are on the phone all day and do not deserve to be abused or threatened by our travelers. When a traveler does start to abuse our staff, staff will give the traveler a warning that they will hang up if the abuse continues and after reviewing your calls with our staff it is clear that that is what happened here.

  We just returned from ******** and ***** tour. Fantastic! This was our 4th tour with Go Ahead. All perfect!! We have found them totally reliable and honourable. I personally suspect, that the few stories of negative financial transactions are due to people either hearing incorrectly or not reading Go Aheads very clear policies. Go Ahead are very consistent and reliable in all their processes. Don't hesitate to go ahead and book with Go Ahead! Happy touring!
