  Just finished my 4th tour with this company. Tours are outstanding and the Tour Directors and local experts amazing. Each trip was wonderful. However, their *********, MA customer service team is absolutely horrible. They made mistakes on each of the 4 trips I took with them, most involving pre-tour hotels but the last one was the worst. They changed hotels at the last minute and never informed me. We fly over 15 hours with a 9 hour time zone change and walk into our hotel to discover we have no reservation. Did they fix the problem and take responsibility and compensate us? No, no and no. They only offered a discount on a future trip that didn't come close to covering our costs. When I reminded them I've done four and have a fifth trip already booked and am currently shopping for more 2026 tours, they didn't care. Incredible. If I could cancel my next one I would but the cancellation penalties are too steep. However, I am shopping elsewhere now for future trips.

  Tour guides are amazing. With historical archeological insights. Cultural references and beautiful scenery. Delightful food , great shopping. Experiencing people has been quite amazing.

  I have traveled with EF many times now. ********* and ***********, *****, US National Parks, and ************. Ive always had friendly, knowledgeable, and well prepared tour guides and friendly, safe, and reliable bus drivers. Hotels are I think usually 4-5 star places. The food has been great as well. Ive seen so much unique wildlife, landscapes, art, history and culture through EF. The few times weve had emergencies, it was handled with care and grace by our guides.

  I had a wonderful experience with EF Go Ahead Tours. This was my first time going with a tour group. Everything was well planned to enhance the experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited plus he employed tour guides that explained historical events and places. I will definitely go with this company again.

  I have taken two tours with EF Go Ahead Tours and I have 5 more booked. This company totally earned my trust with their meticulous attention to detail and customer satisfaction. I am a senior that *********************** solo but I never feel alone. Each tour director so far has been exceptional, even skillfully handling the occasional difficult traveler. I feel truly spoiled by Go Ahead with everything thought through with a touch of posh class, everything from the luxury busses, the choice of hotels to the specialty optional tours. Such a delight to not have to make all these arrangements on my own! Thank you EF Tours.

  Great tour company and used twice to ****** and *****, however, be aware.. our group of 8 experienced an unusual situation whereas an EF employee joined in on our small group tour. She was a ***** gal and we all had fun with her. Unfortunately a statement was said to her, in front of others, and it was taken out of context and/or not appreciated. Instead of voicing her complaint directly to our tour guide she decided to wait until she got back to corporate office and filed a formal complaint directed to a tour member who was taken aback. Such person was not given a chance to explain his words or even appologize if someting was said that offended. EF stresses the importance of getting to know your fellow travelers through grouo dinners and tours. Had this ** employee spoke to the tour director who always stated to ler him know about anything, troubling, an apology would have been made. Instead this said tourist is now banned from future EF travels. It took several calls and emails and management layers to even find out what was offensively said. Respect the fact that EF cares and protects their tourists, however, in this case said ****** was blindsided with zero opportunity to understand and make an apology. Be very careful on these tours and whom you may befriend and feel you can joke with. They are, at least in this case, very one sided. Unprofessional with transparancy as it took many emails and layers of management to find out the direct cause of being bannded.

  Stating the tour was great and we have used ****** tour company in the past and had great experiences! However we experienced an unusual situation whereas an ** employee joined our tour. Unfortunately a statement that was said to her, in front of others, was taken out of context and/or not appreciated. Instead of voicing her complaint to the direct tour director who would have been able to walk this through the two parties, a formal complaint was made by employee to ** headquarters which resulted in an accusation directed to a tour member who was taken aback and has no chance to explain his words or even appologize if someting was said that offended. Be very carful who you talk with on these tours. Although ** promotes the group of travelers getting to know each other, one must be careful. As the way this issue was not handled properly by the ** tour company we and our group of 10 friends will no longer be using there company.

  Everything about EF GO Ahead Tours was top-notch. Communication before my trip was clear, and they answered any questions I had promptly. All reservations and transportation were exactly as they were described on the website. Hotels were in safe areas and were nice places. EF booked our flights for us, using widely known and reliable carriers to get us direct flights. The tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. I also felt that the amount we paid for our tour was fair, particularly considering the tour company booked all our flights, hotels, and transportation. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Definitely would book with them again.
